I've been thinking on porting it from WCF to a Java-based solution since I'd like to have a Linux-based backend. What would be the best way to accomplish this "conversion"? • Best practise for overriding static classes

  As it is not possible to override a static class in c#, if i want to override a method I generally define a delegate matching the signature of the static method, then modify the method along the lines of: public static void foo(int bar) { if (delegatename!=null) { delegatename.Invoke(bar); } else { //execute previous code as normal } } I feel a twinge of guilt, knowing this is a bit messy. Can anyone suggest a neater solution to this problem (other than rewriting the original structure)

  We use the build in coverage application in TeamCity 6 (about to upgrade to 7.1) If we wish to see the code coverage (or other metrics) of a particular build it is fine as we can navigate to that build, but it would be great if we could pluck out a few interesting metrics from all/some of the current projects/build configurations and display them all together. For convenience I would expect the new display to be accessible from within TeamCity itself, however if there are solutions that require a separate solution we could look at them. Thanks

• Opera Browser: prevent mousewheel scrolling?

  I just build a website that works good on any browser even ipad but in Oper ai noticed a weird thing: the website is built with a div layer on top zindez:999, body is overflow:hidden, and you cant scroll, but underneath the div there is a long text that goes way underneath the viewport... the strage thing is that even if any browser i wasable to keep this effect in Oepra if I use the mousewheel you can kepp scrolling...! ...argh.. do you any hack/solution for this?

• "freeze" one column in flex datagrid

  I'm using a datagrid to display a column of date ranges and several columns of data. I'd like to make the first column (the date ranges) fixed; i.e. that column stays in place when the user scrolls the other columns. That way, the dates column will always be visible as the user scrolls through many data columns. I don't see a datagrid property for this; anyone have a solution? TIA

The user can only select numbers 1 - 180 (axis) if the number is 90 or below i have to add 90 on to it if the number is 91 - 180 i have to take off 90 from it. The main problem is, everytime I try to move it to front, using setChildIndex() I get an error message witch tells me, that the movieclip (that I named my_tofront) cannot converted to a flash.display.DisplayObject full error message: TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert my_tofront$ to flash.display.DisplayObject. Why is this happening, and whats the solution for this problem?

  I have a Latitude, Longitude, and a direction of travel in degrees true north. I would like to calculate if I will intersect a line defined by two more Lat/Lon points. I figure the two points defining the line would create my great circle and my location and azimuth would define my Rhumb line. I am only interested in intersections that will occur with a few hundred kilometers so I do not need every possible solution. I have no idea where to begin.
