    I need to debug a web service. I want to point my client app to the proxy URL and point the proxy to the real service URL and see all requests/responses. I know I could do network sniffing (Wireshark/Ethereal) but isn't there a simple "proxy" app that can do this? I found trivialproxy but the links are broken :(

  • Android hidden title bar comes back

    When my app starts, the title bar is hidden. However, if I leave the app and then return (minimize or phone goes to sleep), there is a blank bar inserted at the top. Is this an intentional feature? How can I prevent it? It seems that the bar goes away after I press the menu key. This is the relevant line in the manifest file: android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Black.NoTitleBar.Fullscreen" Thanks

    I am using UIImagePickerController that gives user to be able select an existing photo or use the camera to take an image at that time. And i can show that image in my application with UIImageView. Now i want to use this ability for movies also. But i couldn't find any way to show the selected movie as an image in my app, just like the Photos app. as you know you can see photos and movies in the same list.

    We've noticed a compatibility issue with a Silverlight 3 app which runs fine with v3.0.40818, v3.0.50106 and v4.0.50401 but refuses to load in v3.0.40624. Instead it gives a message box saying a more recent version of Silverlight is required. Does anyone know what the changes were between 3.0.40624 and 3.0.40818 or why the app might not be compatible?

When the user takes a picture, the phone plays the familiar camera shutter sound. How can I replace this with my own custom sound?     i'm building an Android App that has many many TextView that i want to be clickable. I've tried to assign to the single TextView the properties android:clickable="true" and android:onClick="clickHandler" and when the app fires the clickHandler(View v) i correctly get, through the v.getId(), the clicked item. What i don't like is to define, for every TextView, the properties android:clickable and android:onClick ... is there something that i can do by code to say: "all the textviews are clickable and click is handled in 'clickHandler' ?"   • Getting error using ContactManager Sample

    I have created some contacts data in the emulator. When I run the ContactManager sample app downloaded from the Android site, I get an error. Specifically, when trying to add a Contact through the app, I get a NullPointerException. I think it is because the "Target Accounts" spinner on the scree is not getting populated, and hence I cannot select a Target Account before adding a contact. Has anyone run across this problem or has any clues on how to fix this?
