• Repeating Group Messages in Quickfix C++

  We cannot seem to process some group messages with QuickFix. I am trying to set up a connection with the ICE exchange using QuickFix (C++). I have created a custom data dictionary to handle ICE's non-standard messages. The first message to handle is a SecurityDefinition. The message contains about 13000 entries broken into blocks of 100. I attached the message below (the first two entries with CR/LF added for clarity). My question is in the data dictionary, I defined a group as part of the entry with all the fields they specify in the group. Yet the message is rejected before it gets to the cracker as having an invalid tag (tag = 305). Message 2 Rejected: Tag not defined for this message type:305 Does this dictionary entry look correct. Is there any documentation anywhere on how to handle group messages? • Hibernate error: cannot resolve table

  I'm trying to make work the example from hibernate reference. I've got simple table Pupil with id, name and age fields. I've created correct (as I think) java-class for it according to all java-beans rules. I've created configuration file - hibernate.cfg.xml, just like in the example from reference. I've created hibernate mapping for one class Pupil, and here is the error occured. <hibernate-mapping> <class name="Pupil" table="pupils"> ... </class> </hibernate-mapping> table="pupils" is red in my IDE and I see message "cannot resolve table pupils". I've also founded very strange note in reference which says that most users fail with the same problem trying to run the example. Ah.. I'm very angry with this example.. IMHO if authors know that there is such problem they should add some information about it. But, how should I fix it? I don't want to deal with Ant here and with other instruments used in example. I'm using MySql 5.0, but I think it doesn't matter. • Html shows after submitting form and is nowhere to be found in php script.

  Upon submitting this form on my site. It send me to a page that says. "Use Back - fill in all fields Use back! ! " But this html isn't in the mail script anywhere. Where could this be coming from? • Ajax, Multiple Attachments and Paperclip question.

  Alright everyone this is a bit of a complicated setup so if I need to clarify the question just let me know. I have a model: class IconSet < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :icon_graphics end This Model has many icongraphics: class IconGraphic < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :icon_set has_attached_file :icon has_attached_file :flagged end As you can see, IconGraphic has two attached files, basically two different versions of the icon that I want to load. Now, this setup is working okay if I edit the icongraphic's individually, however, for ease of use, I have all the icon graphics editable under the IconSet. However, if I edit the IconSet after the fact, and perhaps try to replace the icon with a new one, or if I uploaded only one of the set and try to add the second attachment, paperclip doesn't put the attachments with the right IconGraphic Model. It seems that even though I have the IconGraphic ID in each partial, <%= icon_form.hidden_field :id, :index => nil %> it seems that paperclip either creates a new IconGraphic or attaches it to the wrong one. This all happens when you save the IconSet, which is setup to save the IconGraphic attributes. I know this is complicated.. I may just have to go to editing each icon individually, but if anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

  I currently have a form built in which after validation, if errors exist, the data stays on screen for the consumer to correct. This is the first time I've done something with other people in mind, so I'm really concerned about the quality of the architecture. It works well this way, but cloning the List seems like such a hacky way to do this. While bound to Value, I've tried adding: RaisePropertyChanged("Value"); to the AddItemCommand and RemoveItemCommand, but this doesn't work, the ListView won't get updated. What is the proper way to do this?

• having trouble with jpa, looks to be reading from cache when told to ignore

If the mapping is successful - that timezone is used to convert the record timestamp (pacific time) to the respective local timestamp. If no mapping is found - a rough approximation is calculated. The timezones collection is appropriately indexed, of course - calling explain() confirms it. The process is slow. Naturally, having to query the timezones collection for every record kills the performance. I am looking for advises on how to improve it. Thanks. Surprisingly, not only there is no improvement, but it works even more slowly now! May be rtree could be fine tuned to load the entire dat/idx pair into RAM (704M), but I do not know how to do it. Until then, it is not an alternative. In general, I think the solution should involve parallelization of the task.   Hello stackoverflow, I'm working on an Ruby on Rails application (2.3.x) and i want to make a form that lets the user login or register. I want to do this in the same form. But i want to use the validates_presence_of methods and i don't want to slap the "conventions over configurations" in the face. And login isn't a attribute for the user object. But i thought that in this way i could validate the email and password params if the user wants to login. And all the other attrs if the user want to register. So all i could think of doesn't work how i want it to work. So my main goal is this: 1 form for login/register with the use of the validation methods in the user model. So if we want to login but don't fill in any information = give validation errors. And if the user wants to login but the email/password combination doens't match give the "@user.errors.add(:email, "the combination wasn't found in the db...")".   I have a relatively simple PHP page called editcustomers with 3 columns. The problem I'm having is that the form will show when there is a record in the database and the fields will be populated with that info. When no such records exists, the form is not even shown, eliminating the possibility to insert a record. My page layout is as follows: Column 1 shows a form containing customer information, allowing it to be edited. Column 2 allows ordering of products and showing how many products were ordered Column 3 shows the total paid so far, and the total owing. The difference between this both is, that contest requires more data than a normal team. So I created the columns in my team table. Well... I don't think adding :member => {...} is the right way doing this. So, can you tell me what to do? I want to have an URL like /teams/new-contest or something. My next question: what to do (after fixing the first problem), to validate presentence of all fields for new_contest.html.erb? In my normal new.html.erb, a user does not need all the data. But in new_contest.html.erb he does. Is there a way to make a validates_presence_of only for one action (in this case new_contest)? UPDATE: Now, I removed my :member part from my routes.rb and wrote: map.new_contest '/teams/contest/new', :controller => 'teams', :action => 'new_contest' Now, clicking on my link, it redirects me to /teams/contest/new - like I wanted - but I get another error called: Called id for nil, which would mistakenly be 4 -- if you really wanted the id of nil, use object_id I think this error is cause of @team at <% form_for @team, :url => { :action => 'create_content_team' } do |f| %> What to do for solving this error?

• Javascript form validation only works in firefox

  Hello, I am relatively new to Javascript so I'm hoping this is a simple mistake. I building a generic form validation function that is called on the form's onSubmit. The function loops through all the form's child elements, looks for certain classes, and analyzes the contents of the appropriate fields. If it finds something missing or erroneous, it displays the appropriate error message div and returns false, thus preventing the form from being submitted to the php page. It works well in firefox 3.6.3, but in every other browser I've tested (Safari 4.0.4, Chrome 4.1, IE8) it seems to ignore the onSubmit and jump straight to the php processing page. • Easiest way to submit data via PHP?

  I'm new to PHP, and have spent 10 hours trying to figure this problem out. The goal is to take all data entered into this order form, and send it to my email via PHP. I have 2 questions: 1. I can get PHP to send data from a single menu item (example: Mexican Tortas), but how do I get PHP to send data from multiple items (example: Mexican Tortas, Fish Sandwich and Hamburger)? 2. How do I tell PHP to not send data from menu items that don't have the "How Many?" or "Customize It?" text fields filled out? If you could provide a super simple example (or a link to a learning resource) I would really appreciate it. • Perl - Reading .txt files line-by-line and using compare function (printing non-matches only once)

  I am really struggling and have spent about two full days on this banging my head against receiving the same result every time I run this perl script. I have a Perl script that connects to a vendor tool and stores data for ~26 different elements within @data. There is a foreach loop for @data that breaks the 26 elements into $e-{'element1'), $e-{'element2'), $e-{'element3'), $e-{'element4'), etc. etc. etc. I am also reading from the .txt files within a directory (line-by-line) and comparing the server names that exist within the text files with what exists in $e-{'element4'}. The Problem: Matches are working perfectly and only printing one line for each of the 26 elements when there is a match, however non-matches are producing one line for every entry within the .txt files (37 in all). So if there are 100 entries (each entry having 26 elements) stored within @data, then there are 100 x 37 entries being printed. So for every non-match in the: if ($e-{'element4'} eq '6' && $_ =~ /$e-{element7}/i) statement below, I am receiving a print out saying that there is not a match. 37 entries for the same identical 26 elements (because there are 37 total entries in all of the .txt files). The Goal: I need to print out only 1 line for each unique entry (a unique entry being $e-{element1} thru $e-{element26}). It is already printing one 1 line for matches, but it is printing out 37 entries when there is not a match. I need to treat matches and non-matches differently.
