  In most of my interactions with the partner developer community who are working on either Webcenter Projects or ADF related Projects, there are constant questions that come up on the documentation or samples or step by step instructions for novices. Though most of the resources are available online on the OTN site, there seems to be a difficulty in getting hold of the right resource for their job to be done, which i am yet to solve. However here is a list of resources that you should have been to if you in the oracle world and building rich internet based applications using JSF/ADF. 1.   Hi, In a previous SO question, I was talking about somes issues dealing with my MDI architecture. I have now another problem, when resizing my JInternalFrame. Here is a short video that illustrates the problem. • Deploying Fusion Order Demo on 11.1.1.6 by Antony Reynolds

  Do you need to build a demo for a customer? Why not to use Fusion Order Demo (FOD) and modify it to do some extra things. Great idea, let me install it on one of my Linux servers I said "Turns out there are a few gotchas, so here is how I installed it on a Linux server with JDeveloper on my Windows desktop." Task 1: Install Oracle JDeveloper Studio I already had JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 with SOA extensions installed so this was easy. Task 2: Install the Fusion Order Demo Application First thing to do is to obtain the latest version of the demo from OTN, I obtained the R1 PS5 release. Gotcha #1 – my winzip wouldn’t unzip the file, I had to use 7-Zip. Task 3: Install Oracle SOA Suite On the domain modify the setDomainEnv script by adding “-Djps.app.credential.overwrite.allowed=true” to JAVA_PROPERTIES and restarting the Admin Server. Also set the JAVA_HOME variable and add Ant to the path. I created a domain with separate SOA and BAM servers and also set up the Node Manager to make it easier to stop and start components. • Cheating Incident

  Hi Everyone -I just wanted to give you a heads-up on some recent actions that we had to take regarding someone who tried to cheat on a test.Just last week, we had a candidate who was bold enough to try to take screen-shots during the exam using his cell phone. Of course this is completely against Oracle Certification Program policy. This candidate's exam was immediately stopped, and the candidate was ejected from the testing center.Of course it doesn't end there. This candidate was also suspended permanently from the Oracle Certification Program, and all of his previous certifications were revoked. He is no longer eligible to participate in the program. Unfortunately - if this candidate works for an Oracle partner company, then his company will also likely become aware of his indiscretion - particularly when they request validation of his certification.Although this particular candidate was blatantly involved in content theft, any type of cheating incident is very unfortunate. It erodes the value of the certification credentials, and hurts everyone involved. Here I am demonstrating using a standard API FND_USER_PKG.CREATEUSER.This API has x_user_name and x_owner as mandatory parameter.My task is to create a user through OAF page which will accept User Name and Password. Following steps needs to be performed to achieve the above scenario. 1) Create FndUserEO as follows Include all the API parameters and WHO columns in the EO. Make UserName and EncryptedUserPassword ( Here I am not using Encrypted Password. The column name is same as table column so I am keeping the same) column as mandatory. • Message Driven Bean JMS integration

  In Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.1 and above the product introduced the concept of real time JMS integration within the Framework for interfacing. Customer familiar with older versions of the Framework will recall that we used a component called the Multi-purpose Listener (MPL) which was a very light service bus for calling interface channels (including JMS). The MPL is not supplied with all products and customers prefer to use Oracle SOA Suite and native methods rather then MPL. In Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.1 (and for Oracle Utilities Application Framework V2.2 via Patches 9454971, 9256359, 9672027 and 9838219) we introduced real time JMS integration natively for outbound JMS integration and using Message Driven Beans (MDB) for incoming integration. The outbound integration has not changed a lot between releases where you create an Outbound Message Type to indicate the record types to send out, create a JMS sender (though now you use the Real Time Sender) and then create an External System definition to complete the configuration. When an outbound message appears in the table of the type and external system configured (via a business event such as an algorithm or plug-in script) the Oracle Utilities Application Framework will place the message on the configured Queue linked to the JMS Sender. The inbound integration has changed. In the past you created XAI Receivers and specified configuration about what types of transactions to process. This is now all configuration file driven. The configuration files for the Business Application Server (ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml) define Message Driven Beans and the queues to monitor. When a message appears on the queue, the MDB processes it through our web services interface. Configuration of the MDB can be native (via editing the configuration files) or through the new user exit capabilities (which is aimed at maintaining custom configuration across upgrades). The latter is better as you build fragments of configuration to make it easier to maintain. In the next few weeks a number of new whitepaper will be released to illustrate the features of the Oracle WebLogic JMS and Oracle SOA Suite integration capabilities.

The demo flow showcases the key enhancements made in Enterprise Manager 12c release which includes new customizable performance summary, cache data management and configuration management.
