    So I just got a C# program from someone that compiles and gives me a fully functional application. However, when I want to see the .cs{Design] file it gives me the following error: .ErrorStyle { font-family: tahoma; font-size: 11 pt; .... How can I convert this to an actual Design file?     Hey All, assuming I'm running a small shop (3 devs) and using a Windows 7 machine as a centralised Git and IIS server what is the easiest way to get CI up and running? This must be locally hosted CI (no github, no remote servers). I'm doing C# .Net development with Visual Studio 2008. Still, I can't understand how to connect to my server: I see that the SQL service itself (SQLEXPRESS) is running in both in services.msc and Sql Server Configuration Manager I try to connect to it via the Management Studio, but I don't understand what to do.   • web deploy causing bad image exception

    I have an asp.net web application that uses an unmanaged 32 bit dll that I have successfully running on my development machine, but when I use web deploy to move the code to our test server, I start seeing BadImageFormat exceptions. I set the target in visual web developer to x86 and both machines are running 64 bit os's (windows 7 and windows server 2008 r2). I'm not sure what other differences there could be causing the problem. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Cannot change the height of a combo box in the VS Dialog Editor

    Any combo box I create seems to be stuck at 12 dialog units in height. Microsoft's guidelines for spacing and sizing of controls in dialog boxes state that a combo box should be 14 dialog units high. I have even tried editing the resource file in notepad and recompiling in Visual Studio without opening the resource editor - but the combo boxes are still the wrong size! Any ideas?

It is trivial to do for the oledb connection string as described here: MSDN Article on MSDASC.DataLinks().Prompt I've also found examples that use Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI.dll and MicrosoftData.ConnectionUI.Dialog.dll from VS (HOWTO: Using the Choose Data Source dialog of Visual Studio 2005 from your own code). Unfortunately these DLLs are not licensed for redistribution. Is there a standard dialog for choosing a data source that can be distributed with my application?
