• Myfaces extensionfilter overriding renderkit? (Tree2 component)

  I've pulled in the tree2 component (from Tomahawk 1.1.9). Had used the simpler Tree component on previous projects, and this one just looks a bit nicer. Running on websphere 6.1.x and set the server side flag that's needed (com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.invokefilterscompatibility=true) and set the extensionfilter accordingly. Everything's good, and works as expected. Here's the issue: - on a page being included on this one (just some typical footer type info with NO myfaces widgets), there's some embedded html that's getting flagged with warnings in the systemout console). These look like org.apache.myfaces.renderkit.html.util.ReducedHTMLParser parse Invalid tag found: unexpected input while looking for attr name or '/' at line 475. Surroundings: 'span id="tile:footr:viewFragm'. org.apache.myfaces.renderkit.html.util.ReducedHTMLParser parse Invalid tag found: unexpected input while looking for attr name or '/' at line 479. Surroundings: 'a id="tile:footr:viewFragment'. org.apache.myfaces.renderkit.html.util.ReducedHTMLParser parse Invalid tag found: unexpected input while looking for attr name or '/' at line 492. Surroundings: 'a id="tile:footr:viewFragment'. The problem isn't necessarily with the html (which should be cleaned up regardless :-). IF I don't include myfaces, I don't get these warning messages with the default ibm jsf renderer (using jsf 1.1 still). Obviously, IBM's implementation is a bit more lax than myFaces. The page has nothing to do with myfaces at all. The reason for needing the extension filter is that it needs (for the Tree2 anyways, I know it does more for file upload) to intercept requests and then stick some .js includes on the page. Investigated this a bit, and I've included this filter in my web.xml, but it is NO longer fronting the faces servlet. So, the filter is instantiated at startup, but is never executed. Since the filter isn't in place, I've had to hard code in the includes for the 2 .js files into my page Now, the tree2 gets rendered properly, AND I'm not getting the warnings from above, because with the extentionfilter not being called, its using the IBM renderkit ;-) I'm a bit concerned that when the extension filter is in place, everything is being rendered by myFaces, rather than IBM's renderkit (i.e. All I want is myfaces/tomahawk to render the tree2 only, and let the ri do everything else) Can anyone confirm this? When you use myfaces/tomahawk, is it doing all the rendering for the whole application, or just the page any tomahawk widget is on? Thanks for any thoughts on this mike

  I just downloaded wxPython, and was running some of the sample programs from here. However, on every line that uses a variable from wx.*, I get a "Undefined variable from import error" For example, the following program generates five errors on lines 1,4,8, and two on line 5: import wx class MyFrame(wx.Frame): """ We simply derive a new class of Frame. • How to draw semi-transparent text on a graphics object?

  I want to draw a text with 32 bit transparency on a graphics object. When I try, I only get black color in the result. If I try to draw a line with the same semitransparent color, it works perfectly. I was thinking it may be that SolidBrush does not support transparency, but I found a predefined brush named Transparent (Brushes.Transparent) that was a SolidBrush when I looked at it in debug. I tried to use Brushes.Transparent as the brush when drawing the text, and it was successfully not showing at all. That means I get full transparency to work, but not partial transparency.

  Hi there I' m working on a web application. That has a master page and two pages. These pages under the that master page. I am trying navigate that pages with a TreeView which on the master page. When i click to treeview node i can go to page which i want but there is no postback. But if i use linkbutton postback event happen. I use a break point on master page's pageload event.   I'm looking to retire a server which has 12GB of ECC DDR2 RAM. I'd like to upgrade my multi-purpose machine (firewall, file server, VM host for Windows Home Server, etc.) using the RAM from the server. I was just wondering: Has anyone had experience using ECC RAM in a GA-G33M-DS2R motherboard (or any Gigabyte GA-G33M-XXXX motherboard for that matter)? Has anyone had experience using ECC RAM in a motherboard with a G33M chipset. I've searched everywhere and found the attitude positive of ECC memory working in a Non-ECC board, but I would like some specific positive feedback before proceeding tonight. I have to kick the entire house offline, which I don't like to do without good reason :)

Specifically I need data contained in a number of div tags which use a specific CSS class - Currently (for testing purposes) I'm just checking for "div class = "classname"" in each line of HTML - This works, but I can't help but feel there is a better solution out there. • Install mod_jk with Apache 2.2

  I have downloaded mod_jk-1.2.28-httpd-2.2.X.so for Apache 2.2 running on CentOS, and set up as per http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/webserver_howto/apache.html. When I try to start httpd it fails with the following error: "Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 993 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 2 of /opt/apache-tomcat-6.0.26/conf/jk/mod_jk.conf-auto: Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jk-1.2.28-httpd-2.2.X.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jk-1.2.28-httpd-2.2.X.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32" Does that mean that mod_jk-1.2.28-httpd-2.2.X.so has not been properly compiled?.   Hello I want to set global hook that tracks which application is active. In my main program I am doing the foloowing : HMODULE mod=::GetModuleHandle(L"HookProcDll"); HHOOK rslt=(WH_CALLWNDPROCRET,MyCallWndRetProc,mod,0); The hook procedure which is called MyCallWndRetProc exists in separate dll called HookProcDll.dll. The hook procedure is watching for WM_ACTIVATE message. The thing is that the code stucks in the line where I am setting the hook, i.e in the line where I am calling ::SetWindowsHookEx. And then Windows gets unresponsive, my task bar disappears and I am left with empty desktop. Then I must reset the computer. What am doing wrong, why Windows get unresponsive ? and Do I need to inject HookProcDll.dll in every process in order to set the global hook, and how can I do that ?

• ADSIEdit freezes gettings properties of a group with hundred of thousands members

  Doing performance testing on an AD-LDS (Server 2008 R2 64 bits), we created a milion user in a single OU. We also created a single group object and made those milion users member of that group. When we try to list the milion of users ADSIEdit times out with an error message saying it cannot display that many users. Fine. But if we open the properties for the group, ADSIEdit freezes, eating up all available memory and CPU trashing (nearly 60M page faults in under an hour). AD-LDS (running on another computer) is barely hitting the 1% CPU mark, servicing other ldap requests as if nothing were. We can throw more memory at the problem, but more users will have to be managed one day and we will be back at square one. Is there a way to set a limit in ADSIEdit so that it will not hang the computer when retreving a very large multi-value object ?

• Permission denied: cannot call non-public or static methods remotely.

  Ok I've found a solution to this particular error message on here already. But my case is slightly different. There are no "non-public" or "static" methods in my code. All are public. What I'm trying to do is pass a FrameworkElement (more specifically a web browser control) that was created in one process over to another process for display and use. Also I'm not using (and would to avoid using) any of the framework 3.5 addin stuff. Fails at the following line everytime. fe = FrameworkElementAdapters.ContractToViewAdapter(tab.ReturnBrowserObject) tab.ReturnBrowserObject returns an INativeHandleContract which the above line is suppose to convert to a FrameworkElement.

  I edited my .gitconfig file to add support for LabView and it appears that I did something that Git doesn't exactly like. The problem is it (Git) doesn't tell me what it doesn't like. What did I do wrong? • Why would cat6 connectors not work with cat5e patch cable?

  I had a naff batch of cat5 connectors (the latching mechanism didn't work) so decided to order in some cat6 connectors in preparation for the inevitable upgrade. My existing reel of for making patch cables is cat5e utp stranded. I made up a few cables and tested them- none of them worked. I recrimped and still nothing. When i check them with a multi-meter not all pins are connected. This reel has always worked with the previous cat5 connectors so I tested the cat6 connectors on a reel of solid cat5e cable and they work fine. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Or what might be at fault? (cable/connectors) and how I can diagnose? Thanks Lee

I've uploaded all source txt files onto my own server : results folder I got the output from using several bash commands in a "chain" like this: cat run*.txt | grep '^Bank[[:space:]]Balance'| cut -d ':' -f2 | grep -E '\$[0-9]+' I know this is far from the most concise and efficient, but at least it works... As our uni subject now moves onto the Perl part, I'd like to know if there is a way to get the same results in one line?
