  • Net::HTTP Gives time out but browser visit returns data

    I tried the following Net::HTTP.get_print URI.parse(URI.encode('https://graph.facebook.com/me/likes?access_token=mytoken', '|')) (My Token is my actual token in code) I get a EOFError: end of file reached error If I visit the page with my browswer it loads up a JSON page. Any idea what could be causing the error? It was working a few days ago. Can't see any changes to facebook api.

  • .net c# datagridview populating with non database data/setup

    Hi, I have never used the datagridview in any other scenario other than one where it is populating by a database so suddenly my mind goes blank... I have 10 tubes, each with 8 vertical positions within it, so I have a 10 by 8 grid basically. Each has of those slots has (or not) an image in a folder. How do I get a datagridview to reflect this information, draw a grid, check the folder and if the image exists paint it white, and if not paint it red? Sorry it if sounds a little odd, thanks, R.

    In a portion of a program I'm working on, I need to count all the times each person has worked on projects with each other person. Let's say we have "Employee" entities and "Session" entities. In each session, there are four project types, "A", "B", "C", & "D", each a many-to-many relationship to Employees. I'm making a loop to systematically review every person a selected person has worked with. First, I put all their project types in a single array, so it's easier to loop through, but by the time I ask the last nested Project for its Employee members, I get an "unrecognized selector" error.     I have a column using a BIT type (1/0). I have some records are set to 1 and some are set to 0. Those are record flag needs to be reversed. So basically, I want all records with 1 set 0, and all records with 0 set to 1. If I run "Update Table1 Set Flag = 1 Where Flag = 0" first, then I am afraid all record flags will be 1 now, and will not able to know which ones are flag = 0. any suggestions, Thanks!

    I have a question about the table beneath my question: If i was told that the given min.support=10%, how can i know what is the support count, by which i will use during the exercise? What i know is: that you take the number of transactions (8) and multiple it by the min.support: 8*(10/100)=0.8 the problem is that i get this number: 0.8, how can i use this support count during this example?? 0.8 is a number that will make me prune all combination set that i will build... please help me!!! In the while loop, I was expecting the TakeWhile to add the bytes that did not equal the footer part of the message. Note: Since I am removing the bytes after reading them, the header can always be expected to be at position '0'. I searched examples for splitting byte arrays, but non demonstrated splitting on arrays of unknown and fluctuating sizes. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks much!

    Let me try it: If I don't set this, then the default value is YES. So when I delete an managed object from the context, the context propagates this immediately to the persistent store so the object is gone? And when I set this to NO, then objects are deleted from the persistent store only when calling -save? Is that really true? I mean: If it was true, then the default behavior is that once you call the context to delete an object, the object is gone. Lets assume you're not using an undo manager. So... gone. Right? No rollback possible? Or can it still be recovered with a rollback?

    Hi All, I am trying to delete rows from a table ("lovalarm") where a field ("pointid") is like any one of a number of strings. Currently I am entering them all manually however I need to be able to have a list of over 100,000 options. My thoughts are to have a table ("lovdata") containing all possible strings and running a query to delete rows where the field is 'like' any of the strings in the other table.     I am trying to set the X-Axis labels on a plot. I have a vector of times, these go down to the millisecond level. I have tried setting both XTick and XTickLabel properties but things are not working correctly (labels are not valid). Any suggestions on what one needs to do to get datetick to work when working with times that go down to the second/millisecond level? Are there any alternatives to using datetick? Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • Strange code behaviour?

    Hi, I have a C code in which i have a structure declaration which has an array of int[576] declared in it. For some reason, i had to remove this array from the structure, So i replaced this array with a pointer as int *ptr; declared some global array of same type, somewhere else in the code, and initialized this pointer by assigning the global array to this pointer. So i did not have to change the way i was accessing this array, from other parts of my code. But it works fine/gives desired output when i have the array declared in the structure, but it gives junk output when i declare it as a pointer in the structure and assign a global array to this pointer, as a part of the pointer initialization. All this code is being run on MS-VC 6.0/Windows setup/Intel-x86. I tried below things: 1)Suspected structure padding/alignment but could not get any leads? If at all structure alignment could be a culprit how can i proceed to narrow it down and confirm it? 2) I have made sure that in both cases the array is initialized to some default values, say 0 before its first use, and its not being used before initialization. 3)I tried using global array as well as malloc based memory for this newly declared array. Same result, junk output. Am i missing something? How can i zero down the problem. Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks, -AD.

    I have one Map that contains some names and numbers Map<String,Integer> abc = new TreeMap<String,Integer>(); It works fine. I can put some values in it but when I call it in different class it gives me wrong order. For example: I putted abc.put("a",1); abc.put("b",5); abc.put("c",3); some time it returns the order (b,a,c) and some time (a,c,b). What is wrong with it? Is there any step that I am missing when I call this map?
