  • Include a repetitive chunk of HTML

    I basically have a div on my site that always has the same stuff. However, this div is not present on all pages which is why I won't use the dynamic web template. I was wondering if it was possible for PHP to get the code from a document on the server and put in into the div? Ex: <div id="section... then my text file contains <p>hello</p> Basically I want PHP to put it into the div when the user sees it. If theres a smarter way of acheiving this I'd be open to it as well.     Hi, I've a free text field on my form where the users can type in anything. Some users are pasting text into this field from Word documents with some weird characters that I don't want to go in my DB. (e.g. webding font characters) I'm trying to get a regular expression that would give me only the alphanum and the punctuation characters. But when I try the following, the output is still all the characters.     I have a thumb nail inside another div, when the thumbnail is hovered I want the parent div to fade/transition to the background of the thumbnail, then fade back to the original image after hover.     How can I search for results in Mongo DB documents using an associative array key. Something like: SELECT * FROM table WHERE keyword like '%searchterm%'; Here is the basic document structure [id] => 31605 [keywords] => Array ( [keyword1] => Array ( [name] => KeyWord1 ) [keyword2] => Array ( [name] => KeyWord2 ) ... ) I would like to do a search within the keywords array on the associative array key [keyword1, keyword2]. The issue is that the name key holds the case-sensitive version of the keyword and the array key is the lower-case keyword name. I could store the lowercase keyword twice, but that seems silly.

    I need an onsubmit to return false if what's written on the first field is a certain PHP value however the field has a strange id format and I'm not quite sure how to add it in the onsubmit.     I am wondering if there is anything built in to Silverlight, or possibly c# to allow for printing reports? I'd be happy with any number of methods: exporting files to a pdf format and printing from there, exporting as a text document of some sort and printing from there, or just simply showing the print dialog from the web application itself. I know there are ways to do this in C#, but the c# code-behind is different for many things in Silverlight applications and I can't seem to find anything that will work. Now from the aspx page, i am trying to access one of the registered usercontrol's hiddenfield value in my aspx page using javacript using the below code: tst = document.getElementById('control1$hdnField').value; I looked into the page's trace, and i could see 'control1$hdnField'. Then why i am not getting its value in my aspx page. I have also ensured that the hidden field exits on the user control and has a default value set. Please help.

I will also need to check if the url has existing parameters. for example "http://mysite.com/index.php?pl=132" will have to become "http://mysite.com/index.php?pl=132&ajax=1" Also, if the link does not have any parameters, for example "http://mysite.com/index.php", it will become "http://mysite.com/index.php?ajax=1" I want to load the jquery script on document ready so all links are changed on page load.   • looping thru a list of checkboxes and saving the values, not working properly

The program gives me a list of checkboxes but a user ID. then u user can change his selection and push the save button (id="btnSaveUserIntersts") and i am trying to save in the hidden textbox all the values of the checkboxes that was choosen. The problem is that i am getting all the time the same selections that came form the database and not getting the new selection that the user made. I want the user to be able to hover over this div but when the user hovers out of the div (mouseout i think its called) I want it to hide.     I'm trying to verify that an Account Name is not already in use once a user fills out a form. Is there some jQuery rule I'm not familiar with that would cause this to fail in on submit scenario? In code block 1, I get values returned like they should. Block 2 gives me a blank response.
