  • Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

    I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

  • Why is button background defaulting to grey when IsPressed is true

    Hey all, I have a simple problem. Using the IsPressed trigger i want to be able to set the background color of a button to something other than the default grey. Here is what the button looks like when it is not pressed and here is what it looks like when it is clicked Here is the trigger for the button. I know the trigger is firing correctly because of the glow effect around the edge of the button when it is clicked.     Found UI guidelines of Launcher icon design http://d.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design.html but System Icons in recent Android releases doesn't seem to follow these guidelines (icons are flat instead simplified 3D perspective, as described in document). Are they already obsolete and what are the current guidelines ?

  • trying to build a web ui tree from scratch

    I have seen yahoo ui using div for every node of the tree. Is this a good thing to do. Seems like every node including leaf node is heavily nested. I saw a div, table, tr, td being used for creating a node. Is this necessary. Is there a better way to do the same. I tried to us tr for every node. Are there any issues with this approach Thanks

  • using checkbox as radio button

    Hi, I am looking for a way for users to select one of the two options (strength or weakness) for a list of qualities. for eg: strength weakness not applicable 1. Communication 2. Punctuality ... Radio button lets me select either a strength or weakness. However, I want the user to check only those qualities that apply and if a user accidentally selects a quality there is no way to undo the selection for a radio button unless there is a third radio button called not applicable or have the user re-enter the page. I was wondering if there is a way to be able to get the flexibility of a checkbox (check / uncheck) in addition to disabling or enabling the other checkbox when one of them is checked or unchecked instead of using three radio buttons. I don't think I have seen this behavior before so wondering if there is a more elegant way of doing this. I am open to other ideas to get the same functionality. Using a checkbox as radio button was just a thought. thanks much.

  • Hiding a button on pushed view and showing it when back to list view

    When I load my list view it has several blog posts and a refresh button on the top left. If I tap on a list item a view is pushed with the contents of that specific post. When this view is pushed in, the refresh button is hidden. But when I tap 'Back' to the parent list view, I'd like the refresh button to show (un-hide) - but it remains hidden. Any idea how to make this work?     I have quite a few of these in Apache logs piling up every day: [Mon Jun 09 20:42:58 2014] [error] [client 180.153.214.181] File does not exist: /home/user/public_html/ajax.googleapis.com, referer: http://www.mysite.com//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js I have over 200k visitors per day but a few of them like a dozen or so are generating the above error. I can't figure out what may be causing it. Checked the html code and it's all good so I ran out of ideas.

I want to be able to give the class a list of Styles defined in XAML and the class will read useful properties from the style and apply them. If I have a Windows.UI.XAML.Style style how do I read a property from it? I tried var fontWeight = style.GetValue(TextElement.FontWeightProperty) for a style defined in XAML with TargetProperty="TextBlock" but this fails with and exception
