    So I have a winform that has some winforms controls on it. But in the center of it, I want to show a transparent number on top of everything. Say 60 pixels size. I tried a label and even tried to create a custom control but the transparency didn't work. Any ideas how to do this? This number will change programmatically at runtime several times.

    I have been given a task to create an admin page to programmatically add IPs or domains to a SMTP Relay Restrictions using C#. I spent some time researching this since yesterday and finally traced this down to a few posts on several website that use the System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntr class. Using the examples I found, I can add or deny IPs or domains under Connection control but not Relay Restrictions. What would be the commands in C# to add IPs to the Relay Restrictions?     Hello All I am trying to shift my asp.net 3.5 application (C#) to sharepoint. I have used one .ashx(web handler) file for multiple file upload control in my application Now it works perfectly locally in asp.net but when i do the same thing with sharepoint with no change in code it stops working. I dont know if i need to add some dll or any supportive file to get that file upload page (using .ashx file) working in sharepoint Please help

    I'm doing some offline development on my SVN working copy. Since I won't have access to the SVN repository for a while, I wanted to use Bazaar as a helper version control to keep the intermediate commit history before I commit everything back to the SVN repository. Is this possible? When I try to create a branch using TortoiseBZR from the SVN working copy, it wants to access the SVN repository, which is a problem.

  • Is there a client-side way to prevent an image from being cached?

    Is it possible to control with javascript whether a browser goes to the server for an image or to the browser cache? Can I force the browser to make a server call when it would otherwise use a cached image? I know I can simply append a query string to my image url, but, if I understand correctly, that works because the browser sees that as a new image. I want the old image to be replaced in the cache.
