Passing values for multi-value parameter in SSRS query string

I have two reports built using SSRS 2005. The first report is set to navigate to the second when a specific field is clicked. There is a multi-value parameter on the second report. I need to pass multiple values for this parameter in the URL query string when calling this report. Is there a way to pass multiple values for a parameter in the query string of a report? Or can you pass a parameter that will cause the Select All value to be selected?

Getting started with SQLite (Android)

Hey Everyone, I have limited SQL background, basically a small amount of manipulation through HTML and mostly with pre-existing databases. What I am trying to do is set up a database that will store time information for bus routes. So basically I have different routes with stops for each route and then a list of times that the bus arrives at each stop. Here is an example of a table of times from their website: Link. I am wondering what would be the best way to layout my database/tables? Also what is the purpose of the _id field in each table? Thanks, Rob! P.S. iOS get user contacts excluding businesses

I have an app that is loading all of a users contacts. I would like to exclude any business, but I can't seem to find a way to determine if a contact is a business. I initially considered check if the "company" field contains a value when the first and last name do not, but I can't find this property from the ABRecord. Here is how I am grabbing the first and last name: NSString *firstName = (__bridge_transfer NSString *)ABRecordCopyValue(contactPerson, kABPersonFirstNameProperty); NSString *lastName = (__bridge_transfer NSString *)ABRecordCopyValue(contactPerson, kABPersonLastNameProperty); Any ideas? Dojo Select widget validation style

Many dojo form widgets, like DateTextBox will style themselves in red (claro theme) with an "!" to indicate that the field isn't valid after focus. I can't seem to get this type of styling to work with the Select widget. I have the value set to required, but if the user leaves it in the default state, blank, then it remains unstyled. I tried to test this programmatically: wigs = dijit.findWidgets(node); for( i = 0; i < wigs.length; i++ ) { wigs[i].focus(); } This triggers validation on several other widgets and they are styled appropriately, but not he Select widgets. Anyone know how to make it obvious that those select widgets are not validating? Oh, and wigs[i].isValid() is definitely false for those select widgets.

ExtJS align radiogroup in form

I am looking for way to setup FormPanel that labels will be aligned left on left side (this is default) and field aligned rigth on right side - they are aligned left... how long I am dealing with DisplayField, TextField, or NumberField adding ctCls: 'x-form-element-currency', where .x-form-element-currency { text-align: right; } do the work and is nicely aligned to right My problem start when I try to do this same with radiogroup element (I want to have Yes-No radio select) ctCls: what adding class to the correct (in my opinion) container abowe radiogroup does not make aligment... What I do wrong ?

Hi, I have made a leaderboard table on my site, which returns the users in the MySQL database with the highest scores (score is a separate field). The fields in the leaderboard table are 'rank' 'username' and 'score'. I would like to link each username in the table to it's own profile page. The profile pages are in the format /profile.php?user=$username. How would I go about adding an <a href> within the table (which is echoed in php): echo '<tr><td>' .$a. '</td><td><a href="profile.php?user=' .$row['username']. '">' .$row['username']. '</a></td><td>'.$row['count'].'</td></tr>'; I've tried the above, but it doesn't seem to work. It shows the usernames, but they don't have any hyperlinks. Thanks

can the keyword 'this' be used in an abstract class in java

I tried with below example, it is working fine. I expected it to pick sub-class's value since object won't be created for super class (as it is abstract). But it is picking up super class's field value only. CDateTimeCtrl - preventing 'focus' change when setting date

I'd like to use a CDateTimeCtrl to allow the user to select a non-weekend date. So, if the user increments the day (via a keypress) - and the resulting day is found to fall on a weekend - then the control should skip forward to the following Monday (don't let issues about month changes distract you, it's not relevant). Usually it's not a problem: when I handle the DTN_DATETIMECHANGE notification I can check the new date/time and if it's found to be a weekend then I can call SetTime on the control to update the date. However, if I set the style to DTS_SHOWNONE, this call to SetTime causes the control to shift the input 'focus' (term used loosely) to the 'none' checkbox, e.g. away from the day field. This prevents the user from using keyboard input to continue incrementing the date unless they subsequently use the right arrow key to reset the 'focus', which is just nasty. I would dearly like to prevent this focus shift from occurring. Is it even possible?

SQL Server - Searching string with international characters using LIKE clause

Hi, I have a field 'Description' which can have product descriptions with any unicode characters. If I search for a description which contains an international character, with a LIKE condition (word searched with does not have the international character) I get the following results: Ex: GEWÜRZTRAMINER is one of the descriptions. When I do: Select * from table where Description LIKE '%GEWURZTRAMINER%', it retrieves the entry. When I do: Select * from table where Description LIKE '%GEWURZ%', the entry is not retrieved. (Note: the search condition does not include the Ü but has a U) Is there a way around this so that I can retrieve with '%GEWURZ%' as well? SQl Server 2008

Subsonic foreign key returning collection?

I'm just writing my first "Hello World" program using Subsonic, for which I've thrown together a simple little Customer/Invoice/InvoiceItem/Product database. The connection was successfully made to the DB, and it generated all the right ActiveRecord classes. But for some reason, the Invoice class has a property called Customers, which returns a collection of Customer objects, even though the Invoice table has a CustomerID field which has a foreign key to the Customer table. I would have expected a Customer property returning a single Customer object. I must be doing something wrong - but what?

Hibernate mapping to manage bidirectional relationship using intermediate table

I have an object hierarchy that is as follows. Party inherited by Organization and Person Organization inherited by Customer, Vendor Person inherited by Contact In the database I have the following tables Party, Customer, Vendor, Contact. All of them have a corresponding row in Party table. Contact belongs to either Vendor or Customer. I have a field on the Contact table for org_party_id. However, since the organization can be either a Customer or Vendor I need to be able to look at different tables. Is there a way to map this in hibernate? Or, a better way to manage it in DB/ hibernate?

created modified function (default) is not working in Cakephp 1.2 version

I created an application and all the db tables have 'created,modified' fields that filled automatically by Cakephp's Default Functionality. And i put the Field Type is created datetime NULL, modified datetime NULL, like. But it doesn't work. The data where shows 0000-00-00 00:00:00 Format. The cakephp version is 1.2 , so i put the datetime NULL option ,also i removed the temp,cache files in Model. I need to save the correct date & time format for those 2 fields. If there is any problem with XAMPP version (I use the latest version of XAMPP,1.7.7 PHP: 5.3.8 & mysql v 5.5.16 ) I hope that all are identifies my Issue. Please help me with correct solution. How can I access the iPhone favorite numbers using Objective C?

Hi! I am writing an application using Objective C and I want to access the iPhone favorites numbers (the ones that can be found in the "Phone" application). I've searched among the properties specific to each contact from the Address Book and I even had a look at the Address Book database, but I couldn't identify which property or field from the database indicates which are the favorite numbers. Since "Phone" is an application installed by Apple on the iPhone I was expecting to find such a property in the database. However, I think that it might be possible that this application stores the favorite numbers independently of the Address Book database. Has anyone encountered this problem before and if yes, could you please clarify this matter for me? Thanks a lot! Cipri

Ampersand in JSON/PHP in POST

I'm having a text field which is send via JSON and jQuery (wrapped with .toJSON function) to my server via AJAX and POST request. On PHP side I'm doing json_decode . Everything works but if I put ampersand (&) inside it splits up the POST parameter so its incomplete on PHP side (at least what var_dump($_POST) is writing out). Shouldn't the toJSON and json_decode do all the job (escaping)? I tried encodeURIComponent, & to &, & to \u0026 and it's not working. What I'm doing wrong? Drupal: FileFields... internal server error

hi, I've moved my drupal installation to new server and the website works. HOwever I get an "internal server error" for each file field in my nodes. In other words, images and videos are not loaded. In Firebug, Net Tab I can see they cannot be retrieved from the server because of "internal server error". The only thing I changed with respect to the previous installation is commenting the following 2 lines in .htaccess # Don't show directory listings for URLs which map to a directory. #Options -Indexes # Follow symbolic links in this directory. #Options +FollowSymLinks Is this the issue ? How can I solve this ? thanks

Hello, I have MSSQL 2008 Ent and OLTP database with two big tables. How I can move this tables to another filegroup without service interrupting? Now, about 100-130 records inserted and 30-50 records updated each second in this tables. Each table have about 100M records and six fields (including one field geography). I looking for solution via google, but all solutions contain "create second table, insert rows from first table, drop first table, bla bla bla". Are there any well-known algorithms or computer models that computer scientists use to predict FIFA

Occasionally I read news articles that mention about some computer models that computer scientists use to predict winners of some sporting events or the odds for betting which I think there must be a mathematical model behind it. I never bothered to think twice even though I am a "pseudo computer scientist" myself. With the 2010 FIFA World Cup just underway, and since I am also a "pseudo football/soccer player" myself, I just started to wonder about these calculations algorithms. For example, I know one factor is determining the strength of opponents, so that a win against a strong opponent can count more than a win against a weak opponent. But it now kind of gets in a circular loop, or at least how does one determine the strength of a team in the first place, before that team can be considered strong or weak? If it's based on a historical data then there's no way that could be accurate, because those players of the past are no longer on the fields so their impact is none (except maybe if they become coaches like Maradona) Anyway, long question short, if you're happen to be working in this field or have some knowledge, please shed some lights.

Doing a lot of input validation in VB.NET

I have a form set up where users can enter their booking for a room at my college. I want to validate the user input to avoid SQL injection (my program uses a MS Access database) and also stop numbers and synbols in their name, etc. I can do the validation fine, but there is to be a lot of validation and then methods executed only if all validation tests come back as true. I did have something like this: If txtName.Text = "" Then frmBookErr.SetError(txtName, "Name field cannot be left blank.") fail = 1 Else frmBookErr.SetError(txtName, "") fail = 0 End If And then check the fail variable, but it obviously gets overridden later in the form if one of the validation tests come back as true. Can anyone provide some input into this? Thanks.

Mysql search design

I'm designing a mysql database, and i'd like some input on an efficient way to store blog/article data for searching. Right now, I've made a separate column that stores the content to be searched - no duplicate words, no words shorter than four letters, and no words that are too common. So, essentially, it's a list of keywords from the original article. Also searched would be a list of tags, and the title field. I'm not quite sure how mysql indexes fulltext columns, so would storing the data like that be ineffective, or redundant somehow? A lot of the articles are on the same topic, so would the score be hurt by so many of the rows having similar keywords? Also, for this project, solutions like sphinx, lucene or google custom seach can't be used -- only php & mysql. Thanks!

Unable to bind in asp.net grid Template Column

I am having trouble accessing the data field. I receive the error: Databinding methods such as Eval(), XPath(), and Bind() can only be used in the context of a databound control. I can get the value but using <%# getOpenJobs((string)Eval("ParentPart")) % but I need to use it in the if to display a certian picture if it passes the condition.
