  • Visual Studio Setup and Deployment - D Drive

    I'm creating a VS2005 setup and deployment installer and I need to create some folders in the D: drive since the customer has a partitioned their hard-drive. I've created some folders in the filesystem view and hard-coded the 'DefaultLocation' parameter to point to the D: drive. Now my question is, is it possible to put a 'Condition' parameter that will check to see if the D: drive on the system that the software is being installed is (or is not) a CD-Drive. Thanks

  • SHBrowseForFolder doesn't work for network selection in win7

    Hi, I use SHBrowseForFolder in my code. It works well in XP. But I find it dose not run well in Windows 7 with the same code. When I click a network, it does nothing. But it can expand in XP. By the way, I have the permission to access the network of another computer and I try accessing the resource with explorer, it's OK! Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

    Ideally, I'm looking for something to integrate into visual studio 2005, but if i could run it on the command line on windows or on linux for gcc, that would be okay also.     I'd like to create a gallery of photos that swipe left and right. At first I took a look at Gallery, but it's marked as deprecated. http://developer.android.com/reference/android/widget/Gallery.html We're told to try ViewPager instead. But the PagerAdapter class doesn't handle recycling of views for us (like a standard ListView), does it? http://developer.android.com/reference/android/support/v4/view/PagerAdapter.html Is it up to us to build the recycling mechanism?     Hello, I have a panel with a bunch of labeles and textboxes inside of it. The code: foreach (Control ctrl in this.pnlSolutions.Controls) Seems to only be finding html table inside the panel and 2 liternals. But it does not get the textboxes that are in the html table. Is there a simple way to get all the controls inside of a panel regardless of the nesting? thanks!

    Is there a Google API similar to Yahoo and Bing's API's to check for the number of indexed pages on a specified domain? For example, for Yahoo if I type in the following URL: http://search.yahooapis.com/SiteExplorerService/V1/pageData?appid=MTSlade&query=http://www.dave-sellers.co.uk&domain_only=1&results=1 Then it will return some XML detailing the number of pages indexed as 'totalResultsAvailable' Any idea? But if I try mytoday <- now() first_of_month <- floor_date(mytoday, "month") first_of_month_last_year <- first_of_month - years(1) to use date arithmetic to get the first of the month a year earlier I get an error message Warning message: Incompatible methods ("-.POSIXt", "Ops.ordered") for "-" Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
