• IE6 HTML control wrapping

  Is there any way to prevent wrapping across controls in IE6? For example, I have a label and a single select box. The select box width is dynamic (depending on the content). I want the label to always be to the left of the select box. Right now the problem I am having is the select box drops below the label. I have tried using the <nobr> tag as well as CSS word-wrap rules, but because this isn't text the wrapping rules do not apply. The only way I have found for sure to make it work is to place them in a two-column table, but I do not like this solution. Is there any other way?

  We use jQuery modal dialog box to get confirmation from users before they delete an item. The modal dialog works fine as long as there are no YouTube videos on the screen. If there is a YouTube video the dialog box is displayed beneath the video. I tried changing the z-index of dialog to 3999, but no use. • How do I make lines scale when using GLOrtho?

  I'm using GLOrtho to set up a 2D view that I can render textures onto. It works really well, up until I try to zoom in on the image. If I pass half the width and half the height of the viewport to GLOrtho, I end up with all my textures displayed twice as big as normal, which is exactly what I expect. But then I try to draw a box around part of the image and it all falls apart. I call glBegin(GL_LINE_LOOP), place the four vertices, and call glEnd, and I expect to see the same thing I would see if I drew it at normal zoom level, doubled. Instead, I get lines that are all the right length, but they all come out one pixel wide, instead of two, and it looks really bad. What am I missing?

I'm creating a model instance (using MVVM pattern) in the code behind file in the constructor of page as MainViewModel model = new MainViewModel(); I have a button in HomePage.xaml which I want to bind to the command inside MainViewModel called GetData() and want to populate the data in datagrid. MainViewModel has an ObservableCollection which I would use to bind the data in datagrid. Populating the data in datagrid without binding command works fine.   I have been working on the integration testing of a webapp using watin. The webapp uses fckeditor as one of the richtext controls.   Hi all, I got a strange issue today while working on ExtJS charts. I am trying to use some of the events for the chart when user clicks on the chart items. I found the following events are available: itemclick, itemdoubleclick, itemdrag, itemdragstart, itemdragend, itemmouseover, itemmouseout Here is my test chart where I have implemented all these events. Each event just create a list tag in my debuging console. The issue is, no matter what, itemdoubleclick do not get fired! what is the issue? Why is it not getting fired? xtype:'columnchart', width:600, height:350, id:'myChart', store: store, xField: 'month', yField: 'sales', listeners: { itemdoubleclick: function(o) { var dh = Ext.DomHelper; dh.append('consoleList', {tag: 'li', html: 'itemdoubleclick'}); } } In firebug console, I see that this event is registered. However, if it's the first time we access the page that image doesn't exist yet and imagecache_create_path doesn't generate it either. • Android WebView not respecting scaling percentage...

  I have a WebView which I'm trying to have scale to a certain percent on loading the page. The iPhone version of this software uses the HTML meta-tag: <meta name="viewport" content="width=320, initial-scale=0.95, maximum-scale=2.0, user-scalable=1"> Since Android's WebView doesn't seem to respect that tag I hard-coded the percent using setInitialScale(). However, the WebView is just flat-out ignoring this method call. No matter what number I put in there it shows at 100%. Ideas?

  Hi, I have a div directly under the body. My HTML looks like this: <body> <div class="parent"></div> </body> And the css I use is this: .parent { border:1px solid black; bottom:10px; position:relative; top:100px; width:500px; } This div doesnt stretch to the entire viewport/available body height. However, if I change the position to absolute, It does stretch. Is there a way to get a relative positioned element to stretch to its container element height. I tried height 100% as well and it works but it gives a vertical scrollbar to me as the element is positioned at 100px from TOP.

  Im learning JQuery from a Sitepoint Book but Im trying to apply all the lessons to a Rails App. In one lesson, we are taught how to switch to a different stylesheet if the browser window is resized beyond a certain point. I tried using z-index, but it didn't work. 2 ) I'm trying to make the div #search align directly beneath the "More", but upon setting the width of #search, it aligns to the left side. 3 ) When I hover over the navigation on the left, the popup is being overlapped by the text in the middle. I want the popup to be on top of the text.

• tcpdf - HTML table showing up way too small

  Hi folks. I'm using tcpdf (http://www.tcpdf.org/) to generate PDFs of some tables and images. The images are loaded without an issue, but I'm having issues with the writeHTML() function. I can't seem to control the font sizes or table width/height through the HTML, so I end up with a tiny, tiny, tiny table that you have to print of and squint at to even attempt reading. I've tried editing the table itself, CSS, even putting the table itself inside an h1, but nothing is changing the font size. I have the font size in tcpdf set to 16, but this also has no affect. Has anyone else run into this issue?

• How to scale an Image in ImageView to keep the aspect ratio

  Hi, In android, I defined an ImageView's layoutWidth to be 'fill_parent' (which takes up the full width of the phone). My question is if the Image i put to ImageView is bigger than the layoutWidth, android will scale it, right? But what about the height? when android scale it, will it keeps the aspect ratio? What I find out is, there is some 'white space' at the top/bottom of the ImageView when android scales an image which is bigger than the ImageView. Is that true? If yes, how can I eliminate that white spaces? Thank you.
