• cfgrid boolean column as Yes/No

  I have a boolean type column in an html cfgrid. The data is stored in the database as 1/0 and is returned from CF as such. I want the user to see Yes/No instead of 1/0. I tried QuerySetCell, and couldn't get it to work. The form is editable, when you double click the cell, the checkboxes show and it updates as it should. • c# - clear surface when resizing

  Hello, I'm trying to build my own custom control for a windows forms application in C#.Net. Currently I paint some rectangles and other graphic elements using the paint event. When I now resize the app form to fit the desktop size, all elements are repainted (which is exactly the behaviour I need) but the old one's are shown in the background.   Looking for best practice advice on what string substitution technique to use when using gettext(). Or do all techniques apply equally? I can think of at least 3 string techniques: Classic "%" based formatting: "My name is %(name)s" % locals() .format() based formatting: "My name is {name}".format( locals() ) string.Template.safe_substitute() import string template = string.Template( "My name is ${name}" ) template.safe_substitute( locals() ) The advantage of the string.Template technique is that a translated string with with an incorrectly spelled variable reference can still yield a usable string value while the other techniques unconditionally raise an exception. • Flex 4 how to layout spark controls in an html table type way

  I have a group of controls and I want to organize them in a table like fashion. I want 1 row and 6 columns. Col 1,3,4,5,6 should all auto size to the contents and col 2 should take up the remaining available space. When the size of the group changes, only col2 width should change. I also want to be able to set the alignment of each cell. How can I do this in flex 4? I found a reference to mx:constraintColumns but this seems to be used with the canvas and in flex 4 adobe suggests not using canvases. Is there something similar in flex 4? I'm looking for something along the lines of Grid/Grid.ColumnDefinitions in silverlight.

  I'm looking for a way to change some page layout dimensions in the middle of a LaTeX document. The reason is, I'd like to have smaller margins and longer lines in the "References" section of my report document (basically because short lines aren't so important there and I can save space). In my preamble I have (works fine): \setlength\textwidth{130mm} \setlength\oddsidemargin{14.6mm} In the document I simply try to re-set them at the right point but they're ignored. ... last paragraph ends here. \newpage \setlength\textwidth{150mm} % +20mm text width \setlength\oddsidemargin{13.6mm} % -10mm left margin (so it stays centered) References ... The geometry package is useful but only for global adjustments in the preamble, so I can't use it here. Is it not possible to change the page layout at some point in the document?

  I'm quite new to graphics in java and I'm trying to create a shape that clips to the bottom of another shape. Here is an example of what I'm trying to achieve: Where the white line at the base of the shape is the sort of clipped within the round edges. The current way I am doing this is like so: g2.setColor(gray); Shape shape = getShape(); //round rectangle g2.fill(shape); Rectangle rect = new Rectangle(shape.getBounds().x, shape.getBounds().y, width, height - 3); Area area = new Area(shape); area.subtract(new Area(rect)); g2.setColor(white); g2.fill(area); I'm still experimenting with the clip methods but I can't seem to get it right.   Hi there, I am having an issue implementing Sifr3 on this particular site and it's driving me nuts. It looks as if there is a width on the li or something but I'm 100% sure there isnt and the rest of the menu items are OK and display fine. Something in relation to this might help answer this problem, is that Sifr3 does does not work AT ALL in IE7 WIN. I've checked previous answers to this, being the trailing comma issue but I've triple checked and I do not have any trailing commas. Can anyone help on this pls? Thanks in advance

  I am building an application where the user browses certain objects by scrolling and zooming. To change the zoom level I have successfully implemented a "dijit.form.HorizontalSlider" object. Every time the user changes the position of the silder, I can catch the "onChange" call and do something with that. However, the user can also zoom-in by double clicking inside the view zone, at which point the slider should change position automatically to reflect the new zoom level. My question is the following: what function or method should I call in my javascript to update the position of a dojo silder ? • Best way to reverse bitmap data that is upside down

  Hello, I have a method that I call and it returns bitmap data from a capture device. It returns a pointer to the buffer data as an IntPtr and the buffer length as an int. I know in advance that this bitmap is a 24bpp and its width and height. The problem is that the buffer contains the bitmap data upside down and I need this data to be in the right order (reverse it). What I do is create a for loop and using CopyMemory, I copy each line (stride) of this data from bottom to up to a newly allocated memory space. Is there any way to make it faster than creating more memory each time I receive a new frame? It makes the application get a bit slow and consumes more memory as each bitmap is pretty big. I do this because I use another component that analyses the bitmaps and it doesn't work propertly if the bitmaps are upside down. I'm using .net, c# thanks!

  My Page is 980px in Width, but I have a few design elements (which belong with the background). I positioned them with position: absolute;. This creates a horizontal scrollbar for those who have a =< 1024 resolution. I disabled that scrollbar with overflow-x:hidden on (and for IE7 and etc). However, when I hold my middle mouse button,(i think this applies to laptop touchpads as well) it let's me move around to the right, is it possible to fix this with anything? (javascript, css)? Tested this issues in Chrome, IE, Firefox.

• AdMob ad is showing in iOS simulator, but not on iDevice

  As the heading states, I can get my AdMob Ad to show in the iOS 5.1 and 6.0 simulator just fine, however, when running my application on my iOS 5.1.1 or 6.0 devices, there is just a blank space where the ad should be served.
