The absolute ones which are already in that string should not be touched, they are fine to me as they are already absolute. Can this be done by regex or other means?

  • Same session and session ID for different subdomains in Grails project - How can I do that?

    I am currently working on a project that supports multiple languages. In order to be seo friendly, I am trying to redirect users subdomains corresponding to their locale (or their preferred language). I.e., my projects's url is mydomain.com and I work with the subdomains en.mydomain.com, es.mydomain.com, de.mydomain.com, fr.mydomain.com ... you get the idea. All subdomains are served by the same grails app for now. What happens is that my grails project maintains different sessions (as seen by the session ids) for every single subdomain, hence information is lost, when a user switches between languages. I had not forseen that. :( How can I explicitly set the session identifier? I would like it to be based on just mydomain.com. I got the hint that Apache Tomcat offers something like <Context sessionCookiePath="/" sessionCookieDomain=".mydomain.com"> , but that does not help for the devel environment etc. Any hints? Have you tried storing session information in the DB? This is sometimes used for load-balancing purposes and might help here as well?! Help is highly appreciated (as always)! Cheers!

    I want to use image in a group definded in defs tag. But on Chrome nothing works. In Firefox only the .png file is displayd. Only Rectangle apears but with strange bug in Chrome.     My objects are stored online in two different places : <1 On my nmjava.com site, where I can put them in a directory called "Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/" <2 On Google App Engine datastore When my Java app runs it checks both places for the objects, I designed the app so that it tries to get an object from a Url, it doesn't care whether it's an object in a directory or an object returned by a servlet. My_Object Get_Object(String Site_Url,String Object_Path) { ... get object by the name of Object_Path from the Site_Url ... } Now the request Url for my web site nmjava.com might look like this : http://nmjava.com/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123 [ In a directory ] Or in the case of Google App Engine servlet : http://nm-java.appspot.com/Check_License/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123 [ Non exist ] The "Object_Path" was generated by my app automatically. It can now get the object from my site by the above method like this : My_Object Get_Object("http://nmjava.com","/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123"); In the Google App Engine, my servlet is running and ready to serve the object, if the request comes in correctly, but since I don't want to design my app to know whether the object is in one site's directory or in other site's datastore, I need to design the servlet to catch the non exist Url, such as the one above, and be able to make a call : My_Object Get_Object("http://nm-java.appspot.com/Check_License","/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123"); So my question is : When a request comes into the servlet with a non exist Url, how should it catch it and analyze the url in order to respond properly, in my case it should know that : http://nm-java.appspot.com/Check_License/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123 is asking for the object "My_Obj_123" [ ignore the dirs ] and return the object from the datastore. Now I'm getting this : Error: Not Found The requested URL /Check_License/Dir_My_App/Dir_ABC/My_Obj_123 was not found on this server. Where in my servlet and how do I detect the request for this non exist Url ?

    If a node belongs to a namespace, it's children by default belong to the same namespace. So there's no need to provide an xmlns attribute on each child, which is good. However. If I create two nodes like this: Dim parent = <parent xmlns="http://my.namespace.org"/> Dim child = <child xmlns="http://my.namespace.org">value</child> parent.Add(child) Console.WriteLine(parent.ToString) The result is this: <parent xmlns="http://my.namespace.org"> <child xmlns="http://my.namespace.org">value</child> </parent> But, if create them in a less convenient way: Dim parent = <parent xmlns="http://my.namespace.org"/> Dim child As New XElement(XName.Get("child", "http://my.namespace.org")) With {.Value = "value"} parent.Add(child) Console.WriteLine(parent.ToString) The result is more desirable: <parent xmlns="http://my.namespace.org"> <child>value</child> </parent> Obviously, I'd prefer to use the first way because it is so much more intuitive and easy to code. There's also another reason to not use method 2 -- sometimes I need to create nodes with XElement.Parse, parsing a string that contains an xmlns attribute, which produces exactly same results as method 1. So the question is -- how do I get the pretty output of method 2, creating nodes as in method 1? The only option I see is to create a method that would clone given XElement, effectively recreating it according to method 2 pattern, but that seems ugly. I'm looking for a more obvious solution I overlooked for some reason.

    I have searched and searched and asked a question already and have not received a clear answer. I have the following deploy script (snippet): set :application, "testapplication" set :repository, "ssh://domain.com//srv/hg/#{application}" set :scm, :mercurial set :deploy_to, "/srv/www/#{application}" role :web, "domain1.com", "domain2.com" role :app, "domain1.com", "domain2.com" role :db, "domain1.com", :primary => true, :norelease => true role :db, "domain2.com", :norelease => true As you see, I have set deploy_to to a specific path. And, I also have specified multiple web servers. However, each web server should have a different deployment path. I want to be able to run "cap deploy" and deploy to all hosts in one shot. I am NOT trying to deploy to staging and then to production. This is all production. My question is: how exactly do I specify a path per server? I have read the "Roles" documentation for Capistrano, and this is unclear. Can someone please post a deploy file example? I have read the documentation, and it is unclear how to do this. Does anyone know? Am I crazy? Am I thinking of this wrong or something? No answers anywhere online. Nowhere. Nothing. Please, someone help.

In other words, I know I can use awk, grep, sed, python, etc. for Windows and get the job done but I don't want the users to have to install anything besides a standard windows installation.

    I'm not sure if this is actually called the web crawler, but this is what I'm trying to do. I'm building a program in visual studio 2010 using C# .Net. I want to find all the urls that has the same first part. Say I have a homepage: www.mywebsite.com, and there are several subpage: /tab1, /tab2, /tab3, etc. Is there a way to get a list of all urls that begins with www.mywebsite.com? So by providing www.mywebsite.com, the program returns www.mywebsite.com/tab1, www.mywebsite.com/tab2, www.mywebsite.com/tab3, etc. ps. I do not know how many total sub pages there are. --edit at 12:04pm-- sorry for the lack of explanation. I want to know how to write a crawler in C# that do the above task. All I know is the main url www.mywebsite.com, and the goal is to find all its sub pages. -- edit at 12:16pm-- Also, there is no links on the main page, the html is basically blank.     I have geography pages for two types of business listings. Each page goes from state, county, city, but I need to have the same geography shared between two types of business. My two business types are dentist and chiropractors. I am trying to have a permalink structure like this: enter code here xyz.com/dentist/alabama enter code here xyz.com/dentist/alabama/polk-county/ enter code here xyz.com/chiropractors/alabama/ enter code here xyz.com/chiropractors/alabama/polk-county/ I originally was going to load the geography as pages and subpages, but with that method I cannot get the permalink separated by the type chiropractor and dentist. So now I have created a custom post type one for chiropractor and one for dentist which give me the permalink xyz.com/dentist and xyz.com/chiropractor. My question is now how to handle my category geography page. I was wondering if in wordpress it is possible to create a shell page such as xyz.com/dentist/[state]/ and then through php dynamically build a page for each state? So where it shows [state] it will be replaced with the actual state such as alabama, california etc when that specific page is viewed. But the shell page is just 1 page in the database. If so could someone give me a basic explanation on how to instruct a programmer to do this? Thank you.

    Actually i am trying to make a PHP MVC like application. A basic one. The current milestone i am reaching already includes: Basic RESTful Routing Means, if i type: www.example.com/items/book/8888 .. it properly just stays there as it is and i can already slice out the URL by slashes / and loads the responsible Controllers .... etc from the top single index.php file. I mean, so it is OK for the backend PHP. But the only problem is, it still CAN NOT process the REWRITES properly. For example, the CSS & JS are BROKEN as if i VIEW PAGE SOURCE of the page www.example.com/items/book/8888, the asset files are being called as: www.example.com/items/book/8888/css/main.css www.example.com/items/book/8888/js/jquery.js .. which really are PROBLEMS because in the code is like: <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" media="all" href="css/main.css"> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.js"></script> So the question is: How can i use Apache REWRITE (or whatever approach) to make sure every ASSET FILES to be correctly being called from the DOCROOT. For example, if i am in the URL: www.example.com/items/book/8888 My ASSET FILES should still be called as: www.example.com/css/main.css www.example.com/js/jquery.js Or is there any other methods i need to follow?   • Problem with bluetooth on android 2.1 (samsung spica i5700) where pairing works but connection does

    I have a Samsung Spica i5700 which I already have updated to Android 2.1. I am using the phone with an application called Run.GPS (http://www.rungps.net). This application logs data such as GPS position, route, speed, bearing etc. It can also log heartrate provided the user has a Zephyr HxM bluetooth heart rate monitor ("HxM"), which I do have. I can pair the HxM to the phone through the standard bluetooth utility. I'm prompted for the PIN, which I enter and the device is shown as 'Paired but not connected'. In the Run.GPS application itself, I click on 'Connect Heartrate Monitor'. This times out after about 30 seconds and the error message is 'Could not connect to heartrate monitor. Please try other settings'. I used a friend's HTC Windows Mobile as a control device to see if the HxM works there. It does. The Run.GPS application automatically sets the baud rate (initially to 9600 IIRC, though the connection also worked with higher baud rates) and it is possible to choose between various COM ports as well as a .Net COM port. I did some testing on my Spica Android, to try to find out why the bluetooth connection doesn't work. Below are some log files that I connected over adb when I clicked on 'Connect to Heartrate Monitor' in the Run.GPS application. I would be interested in any tips (including if I'm posting to the wrong forum here ;-)) - whether or not it's possible to experiment with the baud rate in Android etc. I still don't know if the problem is with the Run.GPS application (I've posted already on the development forum there) or with Android 2.1. I checked out another application - Endomondo - which is also a sport tracking application which supports heartrate monitor only with the HxM. There, what looked like exactly the same error occurred - I clicked on 'Connect Zephyr HxM'. For a few seconds I was shown the 'Connecting...' status, but then it timed out into 'Not Connected'. I'm thus tending towards looking at Android for the problem.   • Voice Recognition Connection problem

    I,m trying to work through and test a Voice Recognition example based on the VoiceRecognition.java example at http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/ApiDemos/src/com/example/android/apis/app/VoiceRecognition.html but when click on the button to create the activity, I get a dialog that says Connection problem. My Manifest file is using the Internet Permission, and I understand it passes the to the Google Servers. Do I need to do anything else to use this. Code below UPDATE 2: Thanks to Steve, I have been able to install the USB Driver and debug the app directly on my Droid. UPDATE: Ok, I was able to replace my emulator image with one from HTC that appears to come with Google Voice Search, however now when I run from the emulator, i'm getting an Audio Problem message with Speak Again or Cancel buttons. It appears to make it back to the onActivityResult(), but the resultCode is 0.
