• Android ADT Eclipse plugin, parseSDKContent failed

  I've just set up my first Android development environment consisting of Eclipse 3.5 Mac OSX 10.5 Android SDK for x86 macs ADT Eclipse plugin 0.9.6 I've set set $PATH to my SDK/tools directory (which shouldn't matter if I only use Eclipse right?) and started Eclipse, but when I try to set the path to the SDK in Eclipse, i get the error "parseSdkContent failed". Here are the steps I took. 1. Copy hgwebdir.cgi file to directory at http://url.com/central_repository/hgwebdir.cgi 2. However if I change the destination path to http://url.com/central_repository/projectname It acts like it found the repository, It tells me it found the changesets, and it was adding the changesets and manifests, but then it says "transaction abort! The provisions look in order, and the app builds to my iphone 3gs just fine. The app used to build just fine to my ipod touch, so I'm flustered what could have changed and wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what might be causing this issue. The build logs are below. • Using JBoss EL with Websphere

  Hey, I'm doing a project which is going to run on Websphere. I'm using JSF/Facelets/Richfaces for this project. I want to use the JBoss EL implementation as it allows calling methods with parameters from EL etc. ... usually this is accomplished by getting the JBoss EL jar and then putting this in the web.xml: <context-param> <param-name>com.sun.faces.expressionFactory</param-name> <param-value>org.jboss.el.ExpressionFactoryImpl</param-value> </context-param> However this isn't working ... I don't know if its a problem with Websphere or ...??? • WCF selfhosted service, installer class and netsh

  I have a selfhosted WCF service application which I want to deploy by a msi installer package. The endpoint uses http port 8888. In order to startup the project under windows 2008 after installation I have to either run the program as administrator or have to edit the http settings with netsh: "netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:8888/ user=\Everyone" I want to edit the http settings from my installer class. Therefore I call the following method from the Install() method: public void ModifyHttpSettings() { string parameter = @"http add urlacl url=http://+:8888/ user=\Everyone"; System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo psi = new System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo("netsh", parameter); psi.Verb = "runas"; psi.RedirectStandardOutput = false; psi.CreateNoWindow = true; psi.WindowStyle = System.Diagnostics.ProcessWindowStyle.Hidden; psi.UseShellExecute = false; System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(psi); } This method will work for english versions of windows, but not for localized versions (The group Everyone has different names in localized versions). I have also tried to use Environment.UserName to allow access at least for the current logged on user. But this does also not work, because the installer class is run by the msi service which runs under the user SYSTEM. Hence Enviroment.UserName returns SYSTEM and that is not what I want. Is there a way to grant access to all (or at least for the current logged on) user to my selfhosted WCF service from a msi installer class?

• System Tray Popup Windows 7 Style

  Hey All, I want something like this: http://cybernetnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/windows-7-wireless.jpg This window is not resizable, and aligns itself above the system tray icon which it is related to. I have this: http://i.imgur.com/79FZi.png Which is resizeable, and it goes wherever it feels like. If you click the volume control in Win 7, it always pops up directly above the icon. This is ideal. I've found this reference which I think is trying to solve the same problem (can't tell though as the images are dead), http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2169006/create-a-system-tray-styled-box-in-winforms-c but I'm using WPF and I'm not sure how to get these Form objects they refer to from my Window object. This is the XAML declaration of my window atm, <Window xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" x:Class="WirelessControl.Window1" x:Name="Window" Title="Window1" Width="260" Height="370" mc:Ignorable="d" WindowStyle="None"></Window> I feel like based on how common this is in Windows that there must be a fairly easy way to do this. ResizeMode="NoResize" causes my window border to disappear, so that's no help. Thanks guys, I hope I was comprehensive enough.

"system-engine.com" and "dev.system-engine.com" are separate servers. I cannot seem to get it to work. • Problem using Flash Components in multiple SWC files

  [Edit: Short version - how do you properly handle namespace collisions in SWC files if one SWC has fewer classes from that namespace than another?] I have a rather large Flash application which I'm building in Flash Builder (because coding/debugging in the Flash IDE is... not good) and I've got a ton of external SWC files which I'm linking in to my application. This has worked well so far - the file size is on the large side, but it's a lot simpler than loading in SWFs, especially since I am extending most of the classes in each SWC and adding custom code that way (it's a very design-heavy app.) The problem I'm having is when I have Flash Components, like ComboBox or TextInput, in more than one SWC. (I am never creating new instances of them, they are all laid out by my designer.)

  I am trying to send emails through sendgrid in Zend application. I copy the php code from the sendgrid documentation (smtapi class and swift). I create a template with places that should be substituted with %variable%.   Trying to mirror a local intranet site and have found previous questions using 'wget'. It works great with sites that are anonymous, but I have not been able to use it against a site that is expecting username\password (IIS with Integrated Windows Authentication).   Hello, I have a website which has many pages: For example: HOME: http://mywebsite.com/index.html SOME PAGE: http://mywebsite.com/categorie/somepage.html I decided to make my pages load dynamically with AJAX without reloading the page. So I decided to use jQuery Address plugin ( http://www.asual.com/jquery/address/docs/ ) in order to allow deeplinking and Back-Forward navigation: <script type="text/javascript" src="uploads/scripts/jquery.address-1.2rc.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $('a').address(function() { return $(this).attr('href').replace(/^#/, ''); }); </script> Now, after installing the plugin, if I go on http://mywebsite.com/index.html (HOME) and click on SOME PAGE link, jquery successfully loads the http://mywebsite.com/categorie/somepage.html without reloading the page and the address bar on my browser displays: http://mywebsite.com/index.html/#/categorie/somepage.html which is great! However, the problem is: if I copy this dynamically generated URL: http://mywebsite.com/index.html/#/categorie/somepage.html into a web browser address bar, it will take into my website index.html page and not to the "SOME PAGE" page. Also, The Forward/Back buttons don't work correctly, they only replace the address in the URL bar but the content stays the same. I suppose that I need to write some JavaScript rule that associates the dynamic URL with the correct page? Some help would be appreciated. Thanks :)

  I have Linq2Sql classes User, Page, and UserPage (from a junction table), i.e. a many-to-many relationship. I'm using a gridview to show all Users, with a dropdownlist in each row to show the Pages visited by each user. Now I want to be able to delete records through the gridview, so I have added a delete button in the gridview by setting "Enable deleting" on it. Then I tried to use the RowDeleting event to specify how to delete the records since it doesn't work by default. I have read that you can also set cascade delete on the relationship in the database, but I wanted to do it this way in code, as your supposed to be able to. So what am I doing wrong?

  I have some JSF code that currently works (as shown below), and I need to modify it to conditionally suppress the display of certain rows of the table. I know how to conditionally suppress the display of a particular cell, but that seems to create an empty cell, while what I'm trying to do is to not display the row at all. As far as I understand, anything annotated with @Repository should default to being a singleton and thus doSomeDatabaseStuff() should only be called once (as is my intention). The problem is that I'm seeing doSomeDatabaseStuff() called multiple times. What's going on here? Have I set something up incorrectly? I'm using spring 3.0.0. Thanks for the help.

• Jquery getJSON() doesn't work when trying to get data from java server on localhost

  The whole day yesterday I've been trying to solve this but it's proven to be very challenging for me. I'm trying to use this JS to get information from a java application I wrote. $(document).ready(function() { $.getJSON('http://localhost/custest?callback=?', function(json) { alert('OK'); $('.result').html(json.description); }); }); The Java application uses httpServer and is very basic. When I access the page 'http://localhost/custest?callback=?' with Firefox, the browser shows me the server is sending me json data and asks with what to open it with, but when I try it from a webpage using the JS above it doesn't work. The getJSON call is not successful, the alert("ok") doesn't popup at all. If it replace "http://localhost/custest?callback=?" in the JS with "http://twitter.com/users/usejquery.json?callback=?" everything works fine. An interesting thing is that if I send malformed JSON from my java server Firebug gives an error and tells me what is missing from the JSON so that mean the browser is receiving the JSON data, but when I send it correct a JSON string nothing happens, no errors, not even the alert() opens.
