  • what is this internet explorer (javascript?) syntax error -2146827286?

    Hi everyone, So, I've been trying to troubleshoot this bug where some big percentage of windows users who are on my ajax (jquery) web app are not able to play. I haven't been able to reproduce it on my end with a windows 7 IE8 running in a parallels vm. The main problem seems to be in the javascript somewhere because what users are complaining about is an ajax button isn't working. They click it and nothing happens, so either the event isn't firing, or my ajax call is failing, and possibly the return from the ajax could be failing. After trying some ideas, a friend suggested I check out damnit! https://damnit.jupiterit.com/ which will catch exceptions in javascript and email them to you. This is a pretty awesome tool! So, now i have a little more data, but, am stuck. Basically it seems like the majority of the exceptions seem to be complaining about a syntax error. I will paste the samples below. message: Syntax error number: -2146827286 description: Syntax error Browser: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0) What's interesting is that the syntax error is consistently occurring in browsers reporting MSIE 8.0 but with windows vista, xp, and below, so older OS with the latest IE. Does anyone know of this error? Could this possibly be some weird slow computer/slow internet connection thing where may be my javascript files aren't fully loaded before I call the functions. I am using the jquery $(document).ready() to wait before I setup anything.

I have UITable and model view that include some text field.It takes username from model view and search this in internet and gets some images from internet.It takes data but when model view disappears app exits.and gives that error.When model views close it runs my method and gets value.But it exits from app.

    This error occurred on our TFS2008 build server which we had upgraded to cater for VS2010 projects (by installing VS2010 on the build server - see this article). Error MSB4019: The imported project "C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.0\WebApplications\Microsoft.WebApplication.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk. However - although we had installed VS2010 on the build server - we had not installed the web development components (Visual Web Developer) - this is what caused the error. To fix - simply add the web development components: Go into Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs Select Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and click on Change/Remove In the VS Maintenance Mode screens, select Add or Remove Features In the Setup - Options page make sure 'Visual Web Developer' is checked. Click on Update.   You shouldn't need to restart your build service. HTH Tim

  • Unable to Install VirtualBox Due to Missing Kernel Module

    I am trying to install VirtualBox on my Ubuntu. I first tried to sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose in a terminal, but after the configuration step, it fails with an error: No suitable module for running kernel found When proceeding with starting virtualbox, I get this error: WARNING: The character device /dev/vboxdrv does not exist. Please install the virtualbox-ose-dkms package and the appropriate headers, most likely linux-headers-generic. You will not be able to start VMs until this problem is fixed. So I tried the package from http://www.virtualbox.org/, but starting VirtualBox fails with: WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module available for the current kernel (2.6.38-8-generic-pae) or it failed to load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup You will not be able to start VMs until this problem is fixed. So I ran sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup, but it fails too: * Stopping VirtualBox kernel modules [ OK ] * Uninstalling old VirtualBox DKMS kernel modules [ OK ] * Trying to register the VirtualBox kernel modules using DKMS Error!   • Why isn't this driver install working (sudo code)?

    I have a soundcard that I'd like to use and I've been trying to install it and being a new Ubuntu user, I get about half way through this in the Terminal and it stops cooperating with me... See the link (soundcard hyperlink) but basically what I have here: I do the following and it works: sudo apt-get install subversion svn co https://line6linux.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/line6linux Change to the directory cd line6linux/driver/trunk Time to build from the source but first make sure you have the latest build and headers sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get install linux-headers Then after this point it says must specify file to install. Not sure how to do this or what it means. Cut, copy, paste? Seems like it's different from program to program. I was in the terminal and hit Ctrl-C and then Ctrl-Shift-V in Firefox and it won't paste. But in terminal it will paste.   • How to figure out what error my Java Eclipse project has?

    I've created a Java project from existing source with an Ant build script in Eclipse. I cannot run my project because Eclipse tells me that there is at least one error in it. Now, I know that the project runs fine on the command line, so I suspect an Eclipse configuration error. As far as I can tell, the only feedback that I have from Eclipse is a little red X on my project in the Package Explorer window and dialog window when I try to run the project says there are errors in the project This is all wonderful, but what is the error? Is there a "show me the next error" button somewhere? In the past, on other Eclipse projects, I've notice other little red X's on folders containing source files with errors, the little red X's appear on the source files as well. I scanned (manually) through all of the source files and I haven't found any other red X's (again, where is the "next error" button?). If I select the "Proceed" button I am greeted with a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError for my main class, which makes me suspect a classpath issue. I've checked the classpath, and I'm fairly certain that it's correct. Is there a way to see the exact jvm command line that Eclipse is invoking? I realize that it might be invoking the JVM programmatically, and not on a "real" command line. In any case, is there a way, other than the run configuration dialog, to see what is actually happening when I hit the "Proceed" button?

    I'm using MS Visual Studio 2008, OpenCV, C++ and SVM for a OCR-related project. At least I can run the code until yesterday, when I open the project to continue working, VS reported this error: error C2664: 'bool CvSVM::train(const CvMat *,const CvMat *,const CvMat *,const CvMat *,CvSVMParams)' : cannot convert parameter 1 from 'cv::Mat' to 'const CvMat *' It didn't happen before and I haven't changed any code relating to it (I only changed the parameters for the kernel). The code got error is: Mat curTrainData, curTrainLabel; CvSVM svm; . . . svm.train(curTrainData, curTrainLabel, Mat(), Mat(), params); If I hover on the code, I still got this tip: image. Which means my syntax isn't wrong. So why do VS bother to report such an error?

  • Can I get any logging and error output from Flash?

    To further provide better information for my other question about browsers and Pulse audio, I wanted to see if I could get some kind of helpful log information. I've looked at logs from both Pulseaudio and Firefox, but don't see anything like an error in either of them. The problem I'm experiencing may be coming from Flash. Is there a way I can trap specifically any log output from Flash? Update: I've downloaded the Linux Flash Player 10.3 Plugin content debugger, and I've installed libflashplayer.so in ~/.mozilla/firefox/plugins/, and copied the user/* files to /user. I've also set up mm.cfg to say: ErrorReportingEnable=1 TraceOutputFileEnable=1 MaxWarnings=50 TraceOutputFileName=/home/dave/.macromedia/Flash_Player/Logs/flashlog.txt And I rebooted just to be sure everything was starting fresh. However, after playing a Flash video from Youtube, flashlog.txt is not being generated. How can I be sure that logging is in fact enabled, so I can tell whether I'm simply not getting errors or I haven't set up logging correctly?

Select the correct SharePoint web application – click on the name of the Content databases  - this will open the  “Manage Content Database Settings” page. 3.     During a remote SharePoint training session this morning, Live Meeting presented one of our instructors with the following gem:  "An attendee email address is malformed".  This was particularly troubling since a wizard took care of adding all the entries, and they looked correct (even after being sifted through my character analysis tool).As it turns out, the addresses were indeed correct.  As sometimes happens, though, at the line breaks, it looked like there was no space between the semicolon and the following email address.  Since I'm a member in good standing of the "I wonder what this button does" school of thought, I added an extra space after each of these cramped little semicolons -- and the invitation executed flawlessly.Coincidence?  Maybe... but you can bet I'm going to keep trying dumb stuff like that when the error message doesn't make sense.  Think of it as the tech support equivalent of "Ask a silly question..."

I try to open *.avi, *.mkv and *.jpg files the same result. Giving up." i have tried all options like sudo dosfsck -t -a -w /dev/sdc1 sudo dosfsck -w -r -l -a -v -t /dev/sdc1 but each time the same message comes, can any one guide me how to recover the filesystem, also i don't mind losing data of this drive as this is an external pen drive. Also, can u pl suggest of some method other then booting from a CD with software like GPARTED or something like that.

  • How can I fix 'no wubildr' error in WUBI on Windows 7?

    Good Evening All, I just got my HP Laptop Back from the factory and then I tried to install Ubuntu. It got through the whole installation, however, when I restarted and chose Ubuntu a quick screen flashes that says: Try (hd0,0) NTFS5: no wubildr Try (hd0,1) NTFS5: Then it quickly goes to the Boot Loader which I am presented with: Windows 7 (loader) (on /dev/sda1) Windows Vista (loader) (on /dev/sda2) Windows Vista (loader) (on /dev/sda3) Of course if I click Win 7 it'll go to the main screen to choose between Win 7 or Ubuntu, if I choose Vista, it'll come with an error of sorts. The strange thing is, I looked in my C:/ Drive and I see wubildr and wubilder.mbr Idk if it makes a difference but I am running a 64-bit processor.     I am deploying a CFMX6.1 application to a Websphere 6.1 server. The server starts up without any errors but when I goto the CF Adminstrator page (or any cf page) I get the following error: Error 500: The Security service is not available. Can you deploy CFMX6.1 to WS6.1? My searches on the internets seem to say yes and no. As far as the error goes I normally end up at a page that lists the same error with stacktrace but no answers. Am I just searching using the wrong question? Thanks.

Has anyone ever managed to build fastcgi on Linux? How do I fix this problem?
