  • Created Custom Report in Google Analytics, Primary Account Doesn't See It?

    - by Anagio
A client shared access with me to their Google Analytics account. I created a custom report which shows up under Custom Reporting for me. I assumed they would also see this report since it was in their account but they sent me a screen shot showing there's no custom report listed. I have already sent them the shortcut link to the custom report configuration. This seems to be the way to share custom reports along with dashboards in GA now. Do custom reports only appear to the accounts (email) that created them? I would think everyone who had access to the account would see the custom report.

  • Apk Expansion Files - Application Licensing - Developer account - NOT_LICENSED response

    - by mUncescu
I am trying to use the APK Expansion Files extension for Android. I have uploaded the APK to the server along with the extension files. If the application was previously published i get a response from the server saying NOT_LICENSED: The code I use is: APKExpansionPolicy aep = new APKExpansionPolicy(mContext, new AESObfuscator(getSALT(), mContext.getPackageName(), deviceId)); aep.resetPolicy(); LicenseChecker checker = new LicenseChecker(mContext, aep, getPublicKey(); checker.checkAccess(new LicenseCheckerCallback() { @Override public void allow(int reason) { @Override public void dontAllow(int reason) { try { switch (reason) { case Policy.NOT_LICENSED: mNotification.onDownloadStateChanged(IDownloaderClient.STATE_FAILED_UNLICENSED); break; case Policy.RETRY: mNotification.onDownloadStateChanged(IDownloaderClient.STATE_FAILED_FETCHING_URL); break; } } finally { setServiceRunning(false); } } @Override public void applicationError(int errorCode) { try { mNotification.onDownloadStateChanged(IDownloaderClient.STATE_FAILED_FETCHING_URL); } finally { setServiceRunning(false); } } }); So if the application wasn't previously published the Allow method is called. If the application was previously published and now it isn't the dontAllow method is called. I have tried: http://developer.android.com/guide/google/play/licensing/setting-up.html#test-response Here it says that if you use a developer or test account on your test device you can set a specific response, I use LICENSED as response and still get NOT_LINCESED. Resetting the phone, clearing google play store cache, application data. Changing the versioncode number in different combinations still doesn't work. Edit: In case someone else was facing this problem I received an mail from the google support team We are aware that newly created accounts for testing in-app billing and Google licensing server (LVL) return errors, and are working on resolving this problem. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, you can use any accounts created prior to August 1st, 2012, for testing. So it seems to be a problem with their server, if I use the main developer thread everything works fine.

  • How to declare dependent style names with UiBinder

    - by Eduard Wirch
I have a simple UiBinder widget containing a TextArea: <!DOCTYPE ui:UiBinder SYSTEM "http://dl.google.com/gwt/DTD/xhtml.ent"> <ui:UiBinder xmlns:ui="urn:ui:com.google.gwt.uibinder" xmlns:g="urn:import:com.google.gwt.user.client.ui"> <g:TextArea visibleLines="3" /> </ui:UiBinder> I want to control the background color of this textarea for writeable and read only states. GWT uses the "-readonly" style name decorator to achieve this. So I try this: <!DOCTYPE ui:UiBinder SYSTEM "http://dl.google.com/gwt/DTD/xhtml.ent"> <ui:UiBinder xmlns:ui="urn:ui:com.google.gwt.uibinder" xmlns:g="urn:import:com.google.gwt.user.client.ui"> <ui:style> .textBoxStyle { background-color:yellow; } .textBoxStyle-readonly { background-color:lightgray; } </ui:style> <g:TextArea styleName="{style.textBoxStyle}" visibleLines="3" /> </ui:UiBinder> Obviously this won't work because style names are obfuscated for CssResources resulting in something like this: .G1x26wpeN { background-color:yellow } .G1x26wpeO { background-color: lightgray; } The result HTML for writeable textarea looks like this: <textarea tabindex="0" class="G1x26wpeN" rows="3"/> The read only textarea looks like this: <textarea tabindex="0" class="G1x26wpeN G1x26wpeN-readonly" readonly="" rows="3"/> How do I declare the style so GWT will obfuscate the primary part but not the "-readonly" decdorator? I know that I can disable the obfuscation for the entire style name. But I'd like to keep the obfuscation while making use of the decorators.

  • Need help using the DefaultModelBinder for a nested model.

    - by Will
There are a few related questions, but I can't find an answer that works. Assuming I have the following models: public class EditorViewModel { public Account Account {get;set;} public string SomeSimpleStuff {get;set;} } public class Account { public string AccountName {get;set;} public int MorePrimitivesFollow {get;set;} } and a view that extends ViewPage<EditorViewModel> which does the following: <%= Html.TextBoxFor(model => model.Account.AccountName)%> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(model => model.Account.AccountName)%> <%= Html.TextBoxFor(model => model.SomeSimpleStuff )%> <%= Html.ValidationMessageFor(model => model.SomeSimpleStuff )%> and my controller looks like: [HttpPost] public virtual ActionResult Edit(EditorViewModel account) { /*...*/ } How can I get the DefaultModelBinder to properly bind my EditorViewModel? Without doing anything special, I get an empty instance of my EditorViewModel with everything null or default. The closest I've come is by calling UpdateModel manually: [HttpPost] public virtual ActionResult Edit(EditorViewModel account) { account.Account = new Account(); UpdateModel(account.Account, "Account"); // this kills me: UpdateModel(account); This successfully updates my Account property model, but when I call UpdateModel on account (to get the rest of the public properties of my EditorViewModel) I get the completely unhelpful "The model of type ... could not be updated." There is no inner exception, so I can't figure out what's going wrong. What should I do with this?

  • jQuery Validation Plugin: Validating Checkboxes with Different Names

    - by Michael
    I have a set of 4 checkboxes, all with different names, and require that at least 1 is checked. I know there are a few posts on here already trying to answer this question. The solution that seems to be most logical to me is the answer posted on Question 1734840, but I can't seem to get it working! What's wrong with my code? Or any other new coding ideas to get this working? I have set the class on all of them to 'require-one'. My jQuery code is $(document).ready(function(){ $("#itemForm").validate({ highlight: function(element, errorClass, validClass) { $(element).addClass(errorClass).removeClass(validClass); $(element.form).find("label[for=" + element.name + "]") .addClass("radioerror"); }, unhighlight: function(element, errorClass, validClass) { $(element).removeClass(errorClass).addClass(validClass); $(element.form).find("label[for=" + element.name + "]") .removeClass("radioerror"); }, rules: { 'require-one': { required : { depends: function(element) { var allBoxes = $('.require-one'); if (allBoxes.filter(':checked').length == 0) { if (allBoxes.eq(element).length != 0) { return true; } } return false; } } } , }, errorPlacement: function(error, element) { if ( element.is("#other_descrip") ) error.appendTo("#othererror" ); if ( element.is("#itemlist") ) error.appendTo("#itemerror" ); } }); });

  • Complex SQL query... names of returned variables

    - by Andrew P.
Excuse me for what I'm sure is an elementary question for most of you, but I have an issue with table columns from separate tables having the same name as one another, and trying to select from both tables in the same query. Okay, so this is my code: $q_value = $mdb2->quote($_POST['query']); $field = $_POST['field']; $sql = "SELECT m.*, l.name FROM memberlist m, mail_lists l WHERE m.$field=$q_value AND l.id = m.list ORDER BY m.id"; $l_list = $mdb2->queryAll($sql, '', 'MDB2_FETCHMODE_ASSOC'); The table memberlist has the following columns: id, email, list, sex, name and the table mail_lists has the following columns: id, name After running the query, I later loop through the results with a foreach like so: foreach ($l_list as $l){ //blahblah } The problem is that the column 'name' in mail_lists refers to the names of the list, while the column 'name' in memberlist refers to the name of the member. When I later access $l-name (within the foreach), will I get m.name, or l.name? Furthermore, how do I get access to the other? Or will I just have to do two separate queries?

  • How to make NAnt send an email using a real account

    - by Turro
First of all, I have already seen this post: nant mail issues but the only answer is not satisfactory (i.e.: doesn't work for me). I am using NAnt to get latest version of source, upgrade version of the libraries and application, build the application, build the setups... all the usual things, I bet. I would like NAnt to send an email to some people confirming the conclusion of the build process; I've already checked the official (pretty ugly, IMHO) documentation for the task, but the example, once copied and customized, doesn't work. This are the NAnt target and task I'm using: <target name="sendMail" > <mail from="[email protected]" tolist="[email protected];[email protected]" subject="Subject of email" mailhost="smtp.gmail.com" message="Your new release is ready!"> </mail> </target> The error message I get is: 530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. It looks like that the task was designed for use by an account whose provider doesn't need authentication; but what can I do if I must use an external smtp server which requires authentication (telling my boss I need an smtp server in house is not an option)? Can anybody help/teach me? Thanks in advance...

  • Official names for pointer operators

    - by FredOverflow
What are the official names for the operators * and & in the context of pointers? They seem to be frequently called dereference operator and address-of operator respectively, but unfortunately, the section on unary operators in the standard does not name them. I really don't want to name & address-of anymore, because & returns a pointer, not an address. (A pointer is a language mechanism, while an address is an implementation detail. Addresses are untyped, while pointers aren't, except for void*.) The standard is very clear about this: The result of the unary & operator is a pointer to its operand. Symmetry suggests to name & reference operator which is a little unfortunate because of the collision with references in C++. The fact that & returns a pointer suggests pointer operator. Are there any official sources that would confirm these (or other) namings?

  • Glassfish: Defining Custom JNDI Names for Session Beans

    - by Adeel Ansari
Background: Want to use GF3 in development, where as actual SIT, UAT, and production is using WAS. Problem: With the remote session beans everything is good to go, as GF3 gives a non-standard JNDI name, which is same as what WAS suggests, i.e. an absolute class name. Now for the local session beans WAS use the same absolute class name but with the prefix, i.e. ejblocal:. Whereas GF3 doesn't give any non-standard JNDI name for local session beans. GF3 came up with only portable name, java:global/..I need to find a way so I can use the same names for both. I am using EJB 3.0, WAS 7.9, and Glassfish 3. Don't have any xml confiuration for ejbs. Using Spring to inject the bean in Struts2 actions. With remote interfaces both servers are okay and agreed on a single convention, but for locals they differ. Is there any solution for this? Or just sun-ejb-jar.xml will solve it? Thanks.

  • Getting Argument Names In Ruby Reflection

    - by Joe Soul-bringer
I would like to do some fairly heavy-duty reflection in the Ruby programming language. I would like to create a function which would return the names of the arguments of various calling functions higher up the call stack (just one higher would be enough but why stop there?). I could use Kernel.caller go to the file and parse the argument list but that would be ugly and unreliable. The function that I would like would work in the following way: module A def method1( tuti, fruity) foo end def method2(bim, bam, boom) foo end def foo print caller_args[1].join(",") #the "1" mean one step up the call stack end end A.method1 #prints "tuti, fruity" A.method2 #prints "bim, bam, boom" I would not mind using ParseTree or some similar tool for this task but looking at Parsetree, it is not obvious how to use it for this purpose. Creating a C extension like this is another possibility but it would be nice if someone had already done it for me. Edit2: I can see that I'll probably need some kind of C extension. I suppose that means my question is what combination of C extension would work most easily. I don't think caller+ParseTree would be enough by themselves. As far as why I would like to do this goes, rather than saying "automatic debugging", perhaps I should say that I would like to use this functionality to do automatic checking of the calling and return conditions of functions. Say def add x, y check_positive return x + y end Where check_positive would throw an exception if x and y weren't positive (obviously, there would be more to it than that but hopefully this gives enough motivation)

  • Copy an entity in Google App Engine datastore in Python without knowing property names at 'compile'

    - by Gordon Worley
In a Python Google App Engine app I'm writing, I have an entity stored in the datastore that I need to retrieve, make an exact copy of it (with the exception of the key), and then put this entity back in. How should I do this? In particular, are there any caveats or tricks I need to be aware of when doing this so that I get a copy of the sort I expect and not something else. ETA: Well, I tried it out and I did run into problems. I would like to make my copy in such a way that I don't have to know the names of the properties when I write the code. My thinking was to do this: #theThing = a particular entity we pull from the datastore with model Thing copyThing = Thing(user = user) for thingProperty in theThing.properties(): copyThing.__setattr__(thingProperty[0], thingProperty[1]) This executes without any errors... until I try to pull copyThing from the datastore, at which point I discover that all of the properties are set to None (with the exception of the user and key, obviously). So clearly this code is doing something, since it's replacing the defaults with None (all of the properties have a default value set), but not at all what I want. Suggestions?

  • Can't send an email using a google apps account with PHPMailer

    - by Chris
I'm trying to simply send an email using my google apps account with php. I am able to send an email in a .net application using the port 587 host smtp.googlemail.com and SSL enabled. The username is my full email address. require_once('PHPMailer_v5.1\class.phpmailer.php'); try { $mail = new PHPMailer(); $mail->Mailer = 'smtp'; $mail->SMTPSecure = 'tls'; $mail->Host = $host; $mail->Port = 587; $mail->SMTPAuth = true; $mail->Username = $from; $mail->Password = $password; $mail->AddAddress($to, $to_name); $mail->From = $from; $mail->FromName = $from_name; $mail->Subject = $subject; $mail->MsgHTML($body); $mail->IsHTML(true); $mail->Send(); } catch (phpmailerException $e) { echo $e->errorMessage(); } catch (Exception $e) { echo $e->getMessage(); } Haven't been able to get this to work, but I've tried several different variations of this. $mail->SMTPSecure = 'ssl'; // Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. $mail->SMTPSecure = 'tls'; // Takes forever, then I get "this stream does not support SSL/crypto PHPMailer_v5.1\class.smtp.php" I don't care how, but I need to send an email using gmail here. It can be with this library or a different one.

  • MS CRM 4.0 Remove inactive account from another list

    - by Ekaterina
Hi, I have the following problem, on which I can't seem to find an answer... I have a CRM 4.0 system and I want to achieve the following: When I have a contact/account that's inactive to remove it from another list, for example the Marketing list. So I already have everything, up to the removing part. I have a collection with the inactive accounts/contacts (The ID's(GUID)), I just need to remove somehow the member from the list. So there is a class RemoveMemberListRequest which looks like the correct one, the only problem is, somehow I can't get it to work. foreach (Guid currentMember in inactiveMembers) { RemoveMemberListRequest req = new RemoveMemberListRequest(); req.ListId = context.PrimaryEntityId; req.EntityId = currentMember ; RemoveMemberListResponse rmlResp = (RemoveMemberListResponse)crmService.Execute(req); } When It tries to Execute, the request it fails, with very generic error, that it was unable to execute the request. I am also not sure if that's the correct way of doing it... There is another class that seems to have a property that might be useful: QualifyMemberListRequest With property: OverrideorRemove But I don't really understand how this one works, and I couldn't find enough information. Anybody?

  • JPA concatenating table names for parent/child @OneToMany

Why is OpenJPA concatenating the table names to APP.PARENT_MESSAGE_CHILD_MSG_USER_MAP? Of course that table doesn't exist.. the tables defined are APP.PARENT_MESSAGE and APP.CHILD_MSG_USER_MAP Caused by: org.apache.openjpa.lib.jdbc.ReportingSQLException: Table/View 'APP.PARENT_MESSAGE_CHILD_MSG_USER_MAP' does not exist. {SELECT t1.CHILD_ID, t1.PARENT_ID, t1.CREATED_TIME, t1.USER_ID FROM APP.PARENT_MESSAGE_CHILD_MSG_USER_MAP t0 INNER JOIN APP.CHILD_MSG_USER_MAP t1 ON t0.CHILDMESSAGES_CHILD_ID = t1.CHILD_ID WHERE t0.PARENTMESSAGE_PARENT_ID = ?} [code=30000, state=42X05]

  • Bubble sort dropped images based on their names

    - by user2259784
    I have written a simple bubble sort function that sort an array of Image objects based on image names. For some reason my function is not swapping the elements of array when needed ( basically new assignment is not working) Here is my code : listOfFiles = event.dataTransfer.files; sortImages(listOfFiles); function sortImages(listOfFiles) { var re = /[0-9]/; var temp; for( var index=0; index < listOfFiles.length ; index++) { for ( var index2=0; index2 < listOfFiles.length-1 ; index2++) { var one = parseFloat(re.exec(listOfFiles[index2].name )); var two = parseFloat(re.exec(listOfFiles[index2+1].name)); console.log(one + " : " + two); if (one > two) { console.log(listOfFiles[index2+1]); console.log(listOfFiles[index2]); //following three lines don't work temp = listOfFiles[index2+1]; listOfFiles[index2+1] = listOfFiles[index2]; listOfFiles[index2] = temp; console.log(listOfFiles[index2+1]); console.log(listOfFiles[index2]); } } } }

  • Noob - Cycle through stored names and skip blanks

    - by ActiveJimBob
NOOB trying to make my code more efficient. On scroll button push, the function 'SetName' stores a number to integer 'iName' which is index against 5 names stored in memory. If a name is not set in memeory, it skips to the next. The code works, but takes up a lot of room. Any advice appreciated. Code: #include <string.h> int iName = 0; int iNewName = 0; BYTE GetName () { return iName; } void SetName (int iNewName) { while (iName != iNewName) { switch (byNewName) { case 1: if (strlen (memory.m_nameA) == 0) new_name++; else iName = iNewName; break; case 2: if (strlen (memory.m_nameB) == 0) new_name++; else iName = iNewName; break; case 3: if (strlen (memory.m_nameC) == 0) new_name++; else iName = iNewName; break; case 4: if (strlen (memory.m_nameD) == 0) new_name++; else iName = iNewName; break; case 5: if (strlen (memory.m_nameE) == 0) new_name++; else iName = iNewName; break; default: iNewName = 1; break; } // end of case } // end of loop } // end of SetName function void main () { while(1) { if (Button_pushed) SetName(GetName+1); } // end of infinite loop } // end of main

  • WCF Multiple contracts with duplicate method names

    - by haxelit
Hello, I have a service with multiple contracts like so. [ServiceContract] public partial interface IBusinessFunctionDAO { [OperationContract] BusinessFunction GetBusinessFunction(Int32 businessFunctionRefID); [OperationContract] IEnumerable<Project> GetProjects(Int32 businessFunctionRefID); } [ServiceContract] public partial interface IBusinessUnitDAO { [OperationContract] BusinessUnit GetBusinessUnit(Int32 businessUnitRefID); [OperationContract] IEnumerable<Project> GetProjects(Int32 businessUnitRefID); } I then explicitly implemented each one of the interfaces like so. public class TrackingTool : IBusinessFunctionDAO, IBusinessUnitDAO { BusinessFunction IBusinessFunctionDAO.GetBusinessFunction(Int32 businessFunctionRefID) { // implementation } IEnumerable<Project> IBusinessFunctionDAO.GetProjects(Int32 businessFunctionRefID) { // implementation } BusinessUnit IBusinessUnitDAO.GetBusinessUnit(Int32 businessUnitRefID) { // implementation } IEnumerable<Project> IBusinessUnitDAO.GetProjects(Int32 businessUnitRefID) { // implementation } } As you can see I have two GetProjects(int) methods, but each one is implemented explicitly so this compiles just fine and is perfectly valid. The problem arises when I actually start this as a service. It gives me an error staying that TrackingTool already contains a definition GetProject. While it is true, it is part of a different service contract. Does WCF not distinguish between service contracts when generating the method names ? Is there a way to get it to distinguish between the service contracts ? My App.Config looks like this <service name="TrackingTool"> <endpoint address="BusinessUnit" contract="IBusinessUnitDAO" /> <endpoint address="BusinessFunction" contract="IBusinessFunctionDAO" /> </service> Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Raul

  • PHP preg_match: a pattern which satisfies all MySQL field names (including 'table.field' formations)

    - by gsquare567
i need a pattern which satisfies mysql field names, but also with the option of having a table name before it examples: mytable.myfield myfield my4732894__7289FiEld here's what i tried: $pattern = "/^[a-zA-Z0-9_]*?[\.[a-zA-Z0-9_]]?$/"; this worked for what i needed before, which was just the field name: $pattern = "/^[a-zA-Z0-9_]*$/"; any ideas why my addition isnt working? maybe i'm making up regex, so i'll explain what i added... the first '?' is to say that it isn't greedy, ie. it will stop if the next part, namely "[.[a-zA-Z0-9_]]?" is satisfied. now, that second part is just the same as the first except it is optional (hence the '?' at the end) and it starts with a period (hence the '[.' and ']' wrapping my old clause. and obviously, the "^" and "$" rep the beginning and end of the string so... any ideas? (also, i'm a tad confused as to why i need to put in those "/"s in the begining/end anyways, so if you could tell me why it's required, that'd be awesome) thanks a lot! (and thanks for reading this all if you actually did... it's quite a ramble)

  • Force language change from custom account creation script through url

    - by jax
I have made a custom 'Account Creation' script so that users can login from my phone application. What I want is to be able to change the responses from the server depending on their locale. So when I request a page I would add lang=en or lang=zh etc. This works http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=en Response: <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>Please enter your name:</message> </resource> This does not work: http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=zh Response: <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>Please enter your name:</message> </resource> If I go into Joomla at set the default language to chinese, it works. <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>????????</message> </resource> but http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=en does not work, instead it continues to show the chinese version. What might I be able to do here?

  • Insert names into table if not already existing

    - by John
I am trying to build an application that allows users to submit names to be added to a db table (runningList). Before the name is added tho, I would like to check firstname and lastname against another table (controlList). It must exist in (controlList) or reply name not valid. If the name is valid I would like to then check firstname and lastname against (runningList) it make sure it isnt already there. If it isnt there, then insert firstname & lastname. If it is there, reply name already used. Below is code that worked before I tried to add the test against the controlList, I somehow broke it altogether while trying to add the extra step. if (mysql_num_rows(mysql_query('SELECT * FROM runninglist WHERE firstname=\'' .$firstname . '\' AND lastname=\'' . $lastname . '\' LIMIT 1')) == 0) { $sql="INSERT INTO runninglist (firstname, lastname) VALUES ('$_POST[firstname]','$_POST[lastname]')"; } else { echo "This name has been used."; } Any direction would be appreciated. Thanx John
