Currently the server can send mail (maybe sending through sendmail) but very slow until PHP timeout.   With LLVM and silverlight this may be possible now (or it may be possible with flash). I like the user to select a file and then do the following things 1) Hash it with md5 and sha1 2) If archive check if an exe is in it 3) If archive check if password protected The first to see if the user has uploaded it already (today, yesterday, last month) 2nd to prevent viruses 3rd i should be fine without but if i decide to not allow protected archives i can warn before the user uploads it. How may i do this through the browser?

• Postfix with relayhost - relay access denied for bounces

  I have set up a Postfix Mailserver, outgoing mail is being sent through a smarthost/relayhost which requires authentification. That works great, internal clients can send to foreign recipients though this relayhost. However, when an external mail for a local, non-existent user arrives at the server, postfix tries to send a non-delivery notification to the sender. • PHP Mail Not Sending Messages

  I realize this question title is pretty overused, but I couldn't find an answer to my problem. This could be because either I'm not too good with PHP and I don't understand the problem, or because I have a different issue, but I thought I would post it and see if somebody can help me. I developed a website for a local church in my city and I made the site on my computer, put it onto my website as a sub directory and tested it all. It worked great. One of the things the client wanted was there to be an email form that can send emails. I made it and all was good. I then uploaded it onto the church server and thought it went good too. But then we decided to try the email form out, and for some reason it didn't work. I made the email form by having the user select a recipient (pastor, office manager, etc.) with a radio button, and that would change the action of the email form. This works on my server, but not theirs so I believe it's something to do with their server. You can see their server information here and mine here. When the user sends the message, they get "There seems to be an error with this form. Sorry about the inconveince. We are working to get this fixed." and the email doesn't go through, although the code is the same on my server and it works fine there. My initial thought was that PHP wasn't installed on their server (rare, but it does happen). But it was. So then I thought maybe it was installed, but the "mail" function was disabled. So I tried the following php code: <?php if (function_exists('mail')) { echo 'mail() is available'; } else { echo 'mail() has been disabled'; } ?> And it came back with "mail() is available". • access denied trying extracting an archive on the windows user temp folder

  I'm trying to run a command-line process (which is extraction of a .7z archive) on a file that lies in a temporary folder on the windows user temp directory (C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp), using Process in my c# app. I think the process return error that happens because of "access denied" because I can see a win32Exception with error code 5 when I dig in the prcoess object of .NET. doing the same on some other location worked fine before, so I guess maybe it's something I'm not supposed to do ? (running a process to use a file on the the %TEMP%) perhaps I need to pass security somehow?

  I have an Flex 4 application that I am developing in Flash Builder 4. I'm trying to use a library developed by a coworker, which was delivered as an SWC. I added the library to the Library Path in the project properties. Component set: MX + Spark, Framework linkage: Merged into code. When I attempt to instantiate a component from this library, I get the following error: unable to add archive file: [library].swc$locale\en_US\..\..\resources\images\AcceptButton.png (The system cannot find the path specified) When I unzip [library].swc, the image does exist in .\resources\images\AcceptButton.png as I would expect. Any suggestions to go about resolving this would be much appreciated.

  I am trying to add files to an existing zip file. Whenever i do, the new one contains the new list of files im passing in, but all of the previous ones are wiped out. • Options for Linux OS executable archive files - self installers

  I am looking to create a web-project that is able to install with a program. The user should be able to download an archive file or tar file, run it (executable), and the setup script would ask for paths and configurable values and then unpack its 'payload' and sorting out the contents for deployment. This would be a Linux version of the MSI installer. Is there such a thing for Linux operating systems? This does not involve kernel level manipulations. All it needs to do is copy directories and files on the filesystem, which should cover about 80% if not more of all the *nix distributions.

  I'm trying to simply send an email using my google apps account with php. I am able to send an email in a .net application using the port 587 host smtp.googlemail.com and SSL enabled.   Xcode 5 seems to have changed the way it stores the build application package (xxx.app) such that ditto no longer works. In the ../BuildProductsPath/Release/ directory, the app is actually a symlink to .../InstallationBuildProductsLocation/Applications/... MyApp.app - ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MyApp-emwilkqhlayanxahjpexlpbbkato/Build/Intermediates/ArchiveIntermediates/MyApp/InstallationBuildProductsLocation/Applications/MyApp This breaks the ditto command I was using to create a zip file of the application to put on my Sparkle update server. Anyone have an updated script for building the Sparkle XML and ZIP files? Or know what environment variable I need to use to locate my actual binary after the Archive phase?

• How to archive old revisions from Apache SVN on linux server

  I have a site through which user can write their own Screenplays. This screenplays are saved in the form of revisions. Apache SVN has been installed. I want to save only the last 5 revisions for every user's document. But the problem is on the backend the all the revisions are stored in one folder called "Docsrepo" and its classified as 1000 revisions in 1 folder. and like this it has 234 folders. Meaning 234*1000 revisions. Now I want to archive all of this revision to keep only the last 5 revisions of each document. How do i do that?

• VisualStudio: Toggle Archive Attribute When Saving File?

  We use Tortoise CVS in out shop, but in my last job we used Visual SourceSafe. VSS is generally a pile, but it did have one nice feature. You could right-click on a branch and ask it for a list of all the files you had checked-out. As far as I can tell there is no similar feature in CVS. So what I'm looking for is some kind of VS plusgin that will automatically reset (turn off) the archive attribute when saving a file. Then I can recursively dir to find the files I have checked-out. Does anyone know of a VS plugin or something I can do to get this behavior? Or is there something else I can do in CVS to get my ultimately desired result?

  Hello I have a setup of exim4 on domain1 in front of other server, domain2 (with sendmail). Second server have no direct access to internet, so domain1 is MX for domain2. And domain2 is set as hubbed_host in the exim4 on domain1. When spammer sends message for no_such_user@domain2, its sendmail do a reject: 550 5.1.1 <no_such_user@domain2>... User unknown Then, exim4 at domain1 do an auto-reply like this: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: no_such_user@domain2 SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<no_such_user@domain2>: host 10.0.0.1 [10.0.0.1]: 550 5.1.1 <no_such_user@domain2>... User unknown The spammers uses fake "from" field, and such generated messages are frozen by exim for a long time. How can I disable some or all autoreplies from exim4? Ideally, I want a filter, if message was not delivered with error "User unknown" than don't generate any autoreply from mailer-daemon. Thanks!

• SOGo installation on Mail Server

  We run a normal mail server on cPanel for web-based email. We've just got a request to add Calendar, address book, tasks functions; mobile capabilities (I'm guessing acces via a mobile client/app); public folders etc. On the client-side, we have some people using webmail, some use MS Outlook and some others use Mozilla Thunderbird. Having looked around, I zeroed in on SOGo, Citadel and kolab as options for this. I read through SOGo's official install guide and also checked here and here. However, I see most of the HowTo's ask installation of MySQL/PgSQL, LDAP, Samba etc. While I can manage installation of Samba (if required), I have no idea if installing LDAP, MySQL etc is really required. Also, any guidance as to how to install on a regular mail server would be appreciated. Sorry if this sounds vague. If any more information is required, I'll be happy to give it. Thanks in advance. Edit: This server in question has always been governed via cPanel (to install PHP, MySQL, configure DNS etc). So I am confused if really need LDAP.

• Setting up a localhost mail server on Mac OSX

  I asked this over on stackoverflow. I would love to be able to test php webapps that require emailing registration info etc. on my mac. I downloaded a version of CommuniGate Pro. I need to mail either to an account inside or outside (whichever is best) of the localhost. Again this would be used for testing purposes to verify and debug my code prior to uploading to a hosting service. Any ideas, help and/or examples would be very much appreciated. If it would be easier I could go over to Windows XP. That would just mean setting up wamp and transfering my files over from the mac side via dropbox. I got the local mailserver to work so I can send emails between accounts. However, I cannot seem to get the php code to work.
