    I have a set of records in Microsoft Access that I am trying to send in an Email. The email feature works great. Except a warning message pops up every time a message is ready to send, and the user has to click "Allow" or "Deny" for every email sent. I looked up a workaround, and have been following the tutorial for it: http://www.everythingaccess.com/tutorials.asp?ID=Outlook-Send-E-mail-Without-Security-Warning. My problem is that when I put my message in the function it always returns false, and the message fails. Any help would be appreciated.   • How to target SCOM 2007 R2 monitor to monitor only one server

    Hi, This might be basic, but hopefully someone can help me: We have a well-working SCOM 2007 R2 implementation monitoring our Microsoft infrastructure. Now, on one of these servers there's an event (logged to the eventlog) that I need to be alerted on. I have created a group and put this one windows server in it. Then, I created a monitor with simple event detection, entered the event id and used the group name as "monitor target". This doesnt work - the monitor doesn't show up in health explorer at all. However, If I create the monitor with "Windows computers" as target it works, but that means I'll have to disable the monitor, and then enable it for the group, which is cumbersome and slightly illogical to me. Is this by design, or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello, We have run out of hard disk space on our existing Small Business Server 2008 and simply wish to upgrade both of the hard drives (currently raid 1) - without too much hassle. My main concern is how to copy across the embedded version of Microsoft Exchange 2007. Is there a simple way to copy all the data across and upgrade? Or is it best to backup and do a clean install? - The difficulty is that it's the same server, so we can't replicate mailboxes for exchange. Any hints or tips welcomed!?

  • Word 2010 & 2007 Blue Background on screen as default

    Default blue background and white text in Microsoft Word. I have just moved to Word 2010 (Student Version now released) and although it is possible to create individual documents with a blue background it is not possible to set the program with a blue background as a default. I understand this was discontinued with Office 2007. The only way I can open a document with a blue background is to create a Template with a blue background and use that for each document I wish to create. I'm sure there must be a method of hacking the registry to accomplish this. Can you assist. There must be countless people who who they knew how.

    Installed ifilter and followed the guides: http://msmvps.com/blogs/sundar_narasiman/archive/2008/02/06/configuring-moss-2007-to-search-pdf-documents-install-and-configure-pdf-ifilters.aspx and the accompanying link to the MS hotfix.. I have initiated multiple crawls that don't show any .pdf documents, let alone the contents of the .pdfs (I did constantly upload test documents with real content). In the 'file types' menu of the shared servies, it didn't show the pdf icon as I think it was meant to, it also lists 'pdf' as filetype 'AcroExch.Document', is this correct? Any ideas anyone?

  • SCCM 2007 managing hosts in non trusted forest

    I have an implementation of SCCM 2007 in forest "A" that manages hosts in that Windows 2008 forest. There is another forest/domain, "B", which I have no trust with that I need to manage hosts in as well. I don't need to push out clients from the SCCM console, I am going to install them manually. I just need the hosts in domain "B" to connect back to the forest/domain "A" for management purposes. To date, I have not added any AD objects to domain "B" for hosts to query for site, SLP or management point info. I am installing the hosts with the command line: ccmsetup.exe /mp:SCCM_Server /site:mysite SCCM_Server = FQDN of my sccm server (which is resolvable by the client) There are no ACL's between the two servers. From the logs, I can see the install complete and the client tries to query the local AD for the site info for "mysite" but it can't find it and it stops and never connects. Can anyone give me some direction as to how this should be setup?

    I'm moving to Google Apps and have setup dual-delivery. Everything is fine, but for mail sent internally (from [email protected] to [email protected]), Exchange is not using the send connectors I have pointing to Google's servers. I believe my question is similar to this question: How to force internal email through an smtp connector in exchange 2007 Again, if a user is connected to the Exchange server and tries to send to [email protected] it works just fine, but I cannot seem to force *@mydomain.com to route correctly. This should be a fairly simple, but according to this: google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Apps/thread?tid=30b6ad03baa57289&hl=en (can't post two links due to spam prevention) It does not seem possible. Any ideas?

  • Messages released from MailScanner quarantine are marked as DUPLICATEDELIVER in Exchange 2007

    I have installed Postfix with MailScanner on CentOS 5.4 as a smarthost for Exchange 2007. When a message gets quarantined and I later release it (http://wiki.mailscanner.info/doku.php?id=documentation%3Aconfiguration%3Amta%3Apostfix%3Ahow%5Fto%3Arelease%5Fquarantined%5Fmail), it gets delivered to the Exhcange box but does not appear in a user's mailbox. Exchange message tracking log shows the message is marked as DUPLICATEDELIVER and therefore dropped. How can I work around this situation? Maybe changing a message ID somehow while at the Postfix box or some other way? Thanks.

  • Can DPM 2007 back up Active Directory?

    We're installing Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2007 - we'll be using it to back up Exchange and SQL Server among other things. Does anyone know if DPM can also back up Active Directory? It sounds like the answer is "not really". You can install the DPM agent on a domain controller and make system state backups. But if your Active Directory is out of commission, there will be no way to restore the backups, since DPM depends on AD. Currently we're just using Windows Backup (ntbackup) to take system state backups on one of the DCs. Should we just continue with that? Thanks, Richard

  • Setting user calendar permissions on Exchange 2007

    We have Exchange 2007 with about 100 users. I would like to change everyone's free/busy permissions to grant Reviewer status to a specific AD group. I have tried PFDAVAdmin tool but when I commit any changes, they do not affect the users. If I grant myself Reviewer permissions to another user's calendar using the tool, I still cannot view that user's free/busy details, and I also don't show up on the list of people with permissions on that user's Outlook calendar options. It seems like PFDAVAdmin simply appears to do something, but doesn't actually change anything. Is there any other way for me to accomplish what I need to do? Or is there something I may not be doing right with PFDAVAdmin?     Hi Team, While preparing a Word 2007 document, I made a mistake. (Not to say I don't have any other copy of the document) While formatting (as a try) I applied the style "Apply Style to Body to match selection". This caused the document to go totally in a wronfg format - having numbers even in tables. Have you ever faced this? Could you please tell how to correct it? Hope you would be kind enough to answer this even though it is not striclty technical. Thanks Lijo
