I read the text file and iterate through the lines: Scanner sc = new Scanner(new File("translate.txt")); while(sc.hasNext()){ String line = sc.nextLine(); } Each line has two words. Is there any method in java to get the next word or do I have to split the line string to get the words?

Now I remember something about this at school but that was not for writing procedures. Also, doing some googling I observed that most tutorials where using it a lot. I would prefer using it but only if this is considered good practice. what do you think?

This file is then displayed in flex area , without having user to get Office . ( Office WEB Component ) is ruled out because it needs office to be installed already . print2flash.com sounds good but their problem is they are on windows , my setup is LAMP PHP / mysql over Linux .     Hi all, I have a string, for example; "llama,goat,cow" and I just need to put a '@' in front of each word so my string will look like "@llama,@goat,@cow", but I need the values to be dynamic also, and always with a '@' at the beginning.     I want to search a word in string in ORACLE in which string is comma separated. Eg. String is ('MF1,MF2,MF3') and now I want to search whether 'MF' exists in that or not. If I am using instr('MF1,MF2,MF3','MF') it will give wrong result since I want to search Full MF in MF1 or MF2 or MF3.

    hi, How can I make upper-case the first character of each word in a string accept a couple of words which I don't want to transform them, like - and, to, etc? For instance, I want this - ucwords('art and design') to output the string below, 'Art and Design' is it possible to be like - strip_tags($text, '<p><a>') which we allow and in the string? or I should use something else? please advise! thanks.
