  I have a List that is guaranteed to contain just one type object. This is created by some underlying code in a library that I cannot update. I want to create a List<ObjectType> based on the incoming List object so that my calling code is talking to List<ObjectType>. What's the best way to convert the List (or any other object collection) to a List<ObjectType>.

  I'm using the Ruby GData Library to access Google Docs and I recently got the GData::Client::CaptchaError because I was re-logging in with every request. Reading this post, it recommends not logging in with every request, but caching the authentication token. How do I go about doing that correctly? Google says it expires every 24 hours, and it doesn't seem like I should store it in the session, so what should I do? I'm using Ruby on Rails with all this. Thanks so much

  Hi, I have a raster file (basically 2D array) with close to a million points. I am trying to extract a circle from the raster (and all the points that lie within the circle. Using ArcGIS is exceedingly slow for this. Can anyone suggest any image processing library that is both easy to learn and powerful and quick enough for something like this? Thanks!

  I'm setting resources.frontController.throwExceptions = 1 (or true) in my application.ini but that doesn't seem to force the FrontController to throw exceptions. I can see exceptions (output on the webpage) when I explicitly set 'protected $_throwExceptions = true;' in Front.php in Zend library. Any idea why the config setting doesn't work?

However, it is 4 years old and I have a JPA compliant Java application to contend with. In addition, I see that there is a JPATemplate in Spring that has some good functionality, but the Spring documentation says it is already deprecated!   Hi there! Does anyone know a 100% clone of the C/C++ printf for Delphi? Yes, I know the System.Format function, but it handles things a little different. For example if you want to format 3.14 to "003" you need "%03d" in C, but "%.3d" in Delphi.
