I would create the class car. Every car has his own color, position and so on. And I could create the road with an array. But how to tell the car where to go? Could I hear your ideas? I tried using z-index, but it didn't work. 2 ) I'm trying to make the div #search align directly beneath the "More", but upon setting the width of #search, it aligns to the left side. 3 ) When I hover over the navigation on the left, the popup is being overlapped by the text in the middle. I want the popup to be on top of the text.

  Hi, I know theres hundred of questions and answers out there, but cant find one to specifically answer this. I need a web editor that will let me choose a dark themed editor. I understand gvim is one, but im not totally ready to let go of my mouse. I would like something like sublime text editor for windows, but open to other suggestions. The less bloat the best. I dont need a full IDE like eclipse, but willing to compromise, as long as the themes can easily be added. I've tried bluefish, kompozer and not happy with them. Just need a basic text editor that will highlight php syntax on a dark background.

  Hi, I am developing an application which is communicating with the server. Tha application can perform log-in and get different parameters from server. The application consists of a RESTful client (custom class for making requests), Communication Service (the service which runs in the background) and the main activity. For now I created multiple broadcast messages and multiple broadcast receivers in the main activity so when the application performs login operation a receiver (loginBroadcastReceiver) in the main activity receives a message and when another parameter is received from the server different message is broadcasted and another receiver handles the message. This way however the application performance is poor but I am not sure whether it is due to multiple broadcast receivers. Does anyone know what is the best way to exchange data between service and main activity - is it better to create a single broadcast receiver and retrieve all parameters from message or is it better to initialize multiple broadcast receivers for multiple parameters? I would appreciate if you could provide any useful resource about the topic because I'm writing the thesis and it would be good if the solution could be explained.

  So I have what is essentially a spreadsheet in TIFF format. There is some uniformity to it...for example, all the column widths are the same. I want to de-limit this sheet by those known-column widths and basically create lots of little graphic files, one for each cell, and run OCR on them and store it into a database. The problem is that the horizontal lines are not all the same height, so I need to use some kind of graphics library command to check if every pixel across is the same color (i.e. black). And if so, then I know I've reached the height-delimiter for a cell. How would I go about doing that? (I'm using RMagick)

• iPhone Map: Identifying Users Location

  I have a number of annotations on my map, in addition to the users current location. This works fine, except the default color for the users current location is the same as all of the other annotations. I'd like to make the pin green for the users current location so that it's uniquely identifiable from the other pins. How do I do this?   I am trying to generate the correct HTML to render to a QTextEdit Using Qt 4.2 on RHEL 5.3. So far my algorithm generates the following html. I am not an expert web developer, but to me this string seems valid. 319:14:27:22: <font color="rgb(255,0,0)" bgcolor="rgb(255,0,0)">Message</font><br> What needs to change to get the colours to render. Currently it just renders as black text on a white background.

  I have the following code on the my page... <a href="javascript:change_product_photo(2);"><img id="alternate_product_photo_2" style="border-color:#666666;" src="/v/vspfiles/photos/00-6189-2S.jpg" border="1"> Sometimes there could be more of the <a href="javascript:change_product_photo(4);"> and each one would have a higher index number 5, 6 ,7, etc. What I want to do is for each and every instance of the href with javascript:change_product_photo(x) (where x is the index) remove both "_" from the change_product_link but leave the (x) index My thought was to first add a class to all hrefs that contain javascript:change_product_photo and then modify all of the href;s with that class but I am lost on how to do this. Here is what I got so far... $("a[href*='javascript:change_product_photo']").addClass('link_fix'); Now I don't know how to remove the "_" from the url.

  Hi, I've declared PLCameraContoller instance in my AppDelegate class as:- self.cameraController = [PLCameraController performSelector:@selector(sharedInstance)];[cameraController setDelegate:self]; And I'm accessing it in one of my viewcontroller class as:- del = [[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate]; UIView previewView = [del.cameraController performSelector:@selector(previewView)]; previewView.frame = CGRectMake(0,0, 320, 480); self.view = previewView; [del.cameraController performSelector:@selector(startPreview)]; [del.cameraController performSelector:@selector(setCameraMode:) withObject:(NSNumber)1]; Where "del" is an instance of my AppDelegate class. But i can see only black background in my viewcontroller view in iphone device. Also if i remove "self" from the appdelegate.m code of cameracontroller it also showing blank. How can i get camera in my view controller? I'm pretty much struggling with it. Thanks in Adv.

• Create two semi-transparent images that when stacked produce the target image

  Due to CSS limitations I am forced to stack to semi-transparent images on my website. I won't go into detail regarding the CSS since if I can get this question answered the problem is moot. Anyway, I would like to modify image A in the GIMP such that it will look like it did originally after being stacked on top of image B. Both image A and image B have their opacities set to 50%. Image B is a solid color throughout, whereas image A has some minor details such as a gradient.   Question: Is it possible to compile a program on linux using a .dll file? Where this is going: This .dll will be used to write a php extension to some proprietary software from a third party. Background and Research: I have been given a library called proprietary.lib. I was curious, as I have never seen the .lib extension before, so I typed: file proprietary.lib The output was: proprietary.lib: current ar archive I did some research and found that ar is more-or-less tar (and in fact, I guess tar has since replaced ar in most *nix environments). Upon inspecting the ar manpage, I saw the t option, which displays a table listing of the contents of that archive. Cool. So I type: ar t proprietary.lib And get: proprietary.dll proprietary.dll ... (snip X lines) ...

  I'm doing some tests with new features of CSS3, but this combination only works in lastest versions of Chrome and Firefox, but not in Safari or Opera: box-shadow: inset 0px -10px 20px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0px -10px 20px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); -moz-box-shadow: inset 0px -10px 20px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); I really don't know if they fails in the box-shadow itself, in the inset parameter, or in RGBA color. It's a syntax error or simply Safari and Opera lacks on this?

• How to update widgets from a service?

  I have a background service that can be configured to perform some action every x minutes. I want to implement a widget that gets updated every time my service performs that action. However, I can't get the onUpdate method of my AppWidgetProvider called in any way, except when adding a widget to the homescreen. I tried sending APPWIDGET_UPDATE intents but onUpdate did not get called although the AppWidgetProvider did receive the intent since the onReceive method was called. Is there any way I can trigger widget updates from a service?

  Hi all, I want to create a mark sheet recognizer. Here is the description: My system uses black and white color scheme. The mark sheet paper has a small black rectangle on each corner and an additional small black rectangle, to determine orientation, near one of the previous rectangles. The paper is scanned to yield an image (in bmp format for example). The first step is to locate these five references in image as eficient as possible. My rough idea is to trace row by row and from left to right for each row. It sounds very slow I think. Is there any better way to do that? Thank you in advance. regards, Suugaku

  Hi All I need to capture screen (as print screen) in the way so I can access pixel color data, to do some image recognition, after that I will need to generate mouse events on the screen such as left click, drag and drop (moving mouse while button is pressed, and then release it). Once its done, image will be deleted. Note: I need to capture whole screen everything that user can see, and I need to simulate clicks outside window of my program (if it makes any difference) Spec: Linux ubuntu Language: C++ Performance is not very important,"print screen" function will be executed once every ~10 sec. Duration of the process can be up to 24 hours so method needs to be stable and memory leaks free (as usuall :) I was able to do in windows with win GDI and some windows events, but I'ev no idea how to do it in Linux.   Goal: Install Hunchentoot and be able to run Hunchentoot as a background thread. This is what I do: Install Common Lisp. Install Quicklisp. (ql:quickload "hunchentoot") (hunchentoot:start (make-instance 'hunchentoot:acceptor :port 4242)) The last command is supposed to start Hunchentoot, then return to the interpreter for further Common Lisp forms. For CLISP, SBCL, ABCL, ECL, and CCL, I get one of two results: Hunchentoot's dependency Bordeaux Threads fails to install. hunchentoot:start hangs. The web page never loads, and never 404s.

  I'm trying to render data from an AJAX response as a bar chart with jqplot. To render this bar chart I use two variables: s1 which contains the numbers ex: s1 = [22,67,32,89] ticks which contains the name corresponding to a number inside s1 ex: ticks = ["Jack", "Mary", "Paul", "John"] So my AJAX returns two variables, data1 and data2.   I am struggling with some minor layout changes in vaadin which has to be done on Java AND Css side. Everytime I need to adjust a layout thing like padding-top, background color or bold text of one component I need to set the style via Java code too: userLink.setStyleName("textbold"); The changes in my styles.css (under VAADIN/themes/app/) would then be: @import "../runo/styles.css"; .textbold { font-weight: bold; } ... Is this the correct way of changing the CSS or is there another way? Can I do this without affecting the Java code?
