Basically, a "security check list" to run through before finishing a project. I.e., Cross Site Scripting Cross Site Request Forgery Sanitize form data that goes into database Disable register globals and error reporting in custom php.ini Upload files below web root ...(the list goes on) I did some searching on the internet and in this forum, but couldn't find a comprehensive, succinct, and complete list of guidelines.     Whenever I add a layer for Core Animation either from the nib or programatically, the NSTextFields (labels) in my interface get messed up. Here's a screenshot from Apple's BasicCocoaAnimations example. (Look at the text fields on the left, somehow they're drawn sharper than normal) Note that if I add a layer in IB then it also gets messed up in IB itself before I even run my app.

How can I make the state/province field a drop down list if the selected country is united states and a free form text box if the country is anything else? I'd prefer not to have to do a round trip to the server so probably through jquery?

    I have a trigger that checks to see if certain fields changed during the update. If any of these fields changed I update another table. I'd like to "break" out of the if conditions as soon as I know that something changed. Is there a way to do this within a MySQL Trigger? What I have works, but It seems inefficient.   • Sharepoint, error on adding a webpart to a totally new page.

    I have a problem on adding a webpart to sharepoint page. I have a blank page in the sharepoint, and I have a custom control uploaded to the site, on adding the webpart the the sharepoint page I get the following error: "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))" I get that error even if the sharepoint page is totally blank and so is the web part.

The data type I'm using has a name, a year and a tuple (userName and their rating), it looks like: data Wine = Wine String Int [Rating] deriving (Eq,Ord,Show,Read) type Rating = (String, Int) I wanted to allow a user to rate a given wine from a database, stored as [Wine] but cant figure out how to to it.     I have a CSV file that contains extra newlines in some fields, e.g.: A, B, C, D, E, F 123, 456, tree , very, bla, indigo I tried the following: import csv catalog = csv.reader(open('test.csv', 'rU'), delimiter=",", dialect=csv.excel_tab) for row in catalog: print "Length: ", len(row), row and the result I got was this: Length: 6 ['A', ' B', ' C', ' D', ' E', ' F'] Length: 3 ['123', ' 456', ' tree'] Length: 4 [' ', ' very', ' bla', ' indigo'] Does anyone have any idea how I can quickly remove extraneous newlines?     Hi, my custom 404.php page is located in /includes/404.php. My current .htaccess file does the following redirect: ErrorDocument 404 http://imgpls.localhost/includes/404.php So the url looks like: mysite.com/includes/404.php . Basically I need a double redirect: 1) 404 eror page to mysite.com/404.php (so the url looks nice) 2) mysite.com/404.php to mysite.com/includes/404.php where the file actually is. How can I achieve that? Thanks in advance.
