    hi, I've a question about how to customize drupal modules avoiding hacks. Let's say I've downloaded Lightbox2 module and I want to change the javascript file to display differently my lightbox. At the moment I'm modifying the Lightbox2 module, so I cannot update it anymore, so I know it is not the best practice. I was wondering if I can customize the javascript file of this module with a hook, and how. Thanks

  • HTML: how to set children element width = browser window width ?

    hi, I want to display a children element of my html page all over the browser window.. in other words I would like to enlarge it and keep it the same size the browser window also when it is resized after loading. I was wondering if I have to move this object outside the parent elements or I can set these properties with css. At the moment if I set width:100% and height:100%, it fits the parent (of course) and not the window. thanks

    Hi, I'd like to display some language specific characters from javascript but I can't. My app is a Java webapp and the front end is jQuery. All the characters that are sended from the server - in a JSP or with AJAX - are displayed properly. When I want to display some text hardcoded in to the javascript file it's broken. I'm using Eclipse. In the JSP's header I use: <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" pageEncoding="UTF-8"%> I've tried this (charset in the script element) too: <script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"><c:import url="/JS/mainJS.js" /></script> In my Eclipse I've set the project properties / text file encoding to UTF-8 AND I've checked the JS files' resource properties / text file encoding that is UTF-8 too.     This is my current query - its not getting the required result. I want it do display all of the "resources" even if they dont have a connection. SELECT * FROM (`user_permissions`) JOIN `user_groups` ON `user_groups`.`id` = `user_permissions`.`role` JOIN `user_resources` ON `user_resources`.`id` = `user_permissions`.`resource` WHERE `role` = '4' When I try left join or right join it still returns the same result. The result I get is: id | role | resource | name 5 | 4 | 2 | Changelog I want id | role | resource | name 5 | 4 | 2 | Changelog null | null | null | Resource2 null | null | null | Resource3 Is this possible?

Very basic my app will display different encrypted file types, and those files are delivered in a zip file. My idea was to have the user browse to the file on their SDCard, select it, and I extract what i need as a stream from the file. is this possible?

I have deployed my application on internet and now when I am going to the source of the page, I am able to see all my asp.net controls defined [ie. my aspx page], is their any way I can hide it so that user can't see my source of the page [except right click of mouse] or at least display in pure HTML form so that people can not identify that I am using asp.net.     I am trying to find a way to display numerical digits as a larger font size than chars on a website (not my idea!). The reason for this is to make the numbers stand out. I have looked for a font that would satisfy this without coding but I could not find any. Also, I don't want to slow down the website by having the font coverted to an image. Does anyone have a solution to this ridiculous problem?
