    I need some with help with PowerShell, please. It should be pretty easy: I have a list of subdirectories, with a xml file in each one. I want to open each xml file and print the value of one node. The node is always the same, as the xml files are actually project files (*.csproj) from Visual Studio. I already got the list of files: get-item ** \ *.csproj How do I proceed?

  • Why does ffmpeg stop randomly in the middle of a process?

    ffmpeg feels like its taking a long time. I then look at my output file and i see it stops between 6 and 8mbs. A fully encoded file is about 14mb. Why does ffmpeg stop? My code locks up on StandardOutput.ReadToEnd();. I had to kill the process (after seeing it not move for more then 10 seconds when i see it update every second previously) then i get the results of stdout and err. stdout is "" stderr is below. The output msg shows the filesize ended. I also see a drop in my CPU usage when it stops. I copyed the argument from visual studios. CD to the same working directory and ran the cmd (bin/ffmpeg) and pasted the argument.     I want to use YUI Compressor (the original) and use it as part of typical MS build processes (Visual Studio 2008, MSBuild). Does anyone have any guidance or thoughts on this? For example, good ways for incorporating into project, what to do with existing CSS and JS references, and the like.     I am writing some Selenium tests and I need to be able to find an ancestor of a WebElement that I have already found.     Hello, is there any way I can add some files in the deployment process so they get copied in the installation? I need an xml file that has some data that the application needs, I tried every option in the build action for the file but nothing works, the application always crashes after the installation. Also, I'd like the program to be installed under the Program Files directory. The folder where VS Express installs it it's weird some C:\Users\Carlo\Temp\Applications\weirdnumbers9231FFC231\ directory, and I don't want that either. Thanks in advance!

My View code contains <%: Model.ActivityName %> however Visual Studio is reporting: Unexpected toke at the position of the : (colon).   • Strange WndProc bug in .Net. VB.Net more specifically.

    ETA: I use visual studio 2008 express edition. If I override WndProc and mess up somehow, I'll usually backtrack by commenting out code until it works again. The strange thing with WndProc though is you can strip it down to: Protected Overrides Sub WndProc(ByRef m As System.Windows.Forms.Message) MyBase.WndProc((m)) End Sub and it still throws the error. I have to remove the code and retype it in to reset the error. Anyone else experienced this?

    In 2008 Artur Carvalho asked for an Alternative IDE for Silverlight and was told to look at Visual Studio Express. Is that still the valid answer in 2010 or are there other IDEs one should consider (cost/ OS it runs on / stability)? I'm trying to get a feel for silverlight development before commiting cash. So I don't need enterprize level tools or a license to distribute .. Would MonoDevelop and Moonlight be an option?

    I've got a Visual Studio solution I'd like to build using the commandline. MSBuild is usable for this purpose, and I've done a simple batch file that looks like this: msbuild ..\DDSCPP.sln /p:Configuration=Release /p:Platform=Win32 msbuild ..\DDSCPP.sln /p:Configuration=Release /p:Platform=x64 Unfortunately, that causes my entire solution to be rebuilt each time the command is run, rather than only building what has changed. Am I missing something here?

It should be located in %windir%\Microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.507727\ with the file name mscorcfg.msc The only place I found something similar is in %windir%\Microsoft.net\framework\v1.0.3705 where there are files named mscormmc.cfg and mscormmc.dll Any idea where to get the configuration tool?

  • Multiple aggregate functions in one SQL query from the same table using different conditions

    I'm working on creating a SQL query that will pull records from a table based on the value of two aggregate functions. These aggregate functions are pulling data from the same table, but with different filter conditions. The problem that I run into is that the results of the SUMs are much larger than if I only include one SUM function. I know that I can create this query using temp tables, but I'm just wondering if there is an elegant solution that requires only a single query. I've created a simplified version to demonstrate the issue. One of the main problems seems that i'm builing all dialogs by hand without dialog resource files or the Visual Studio Application Wizards. So i would need pure C++ code that i can type into my Editor. There is also some reference to a "CWebBrowser2" control, but a grep on the VC directory does not give me any results, so where can i find this?

  • Overlaying image also fades when images change in IE6 jQ slideshow

    I have a pretty basic slideshow fading between images. On top of that slideshow I have a logo that is absolute positioned to stay partly over the slideshow. It works perfectly, but then there is IE6. In IE6 the part of the logo that is overlaying the slideshow also fades when the images change in the slideshow. I really do not want to have half the logo in all the pictures in the slideshow, but that seems to be the only solution right now. Last friday we installed some windows updates. After the reboot tomcat doesn't start anymore, with error: Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap We reduced the parameter -Xmx1024m to -Xmx768m and now tomcat starts. But we need greater max heap size What happened to our servers ? Thanks in advance.
