  • Getting huge lags when downloading files via Service

    I have a Service which receives URLs to download. The Service than downloads these URLs and save them to a file on the SD Card. When I put more than 2 items in the download queue my device is unusable. It nearly freezes. Huge lags and so on. Any idea?   • Strange behavior: save video recorded within app?

    I allow the user to record a video within my app, then later play it again. When a user records a video, I save the URL of the video, then play the video later from the saved URL. I save the video both in the Photos app and in my app. If I delete the video within the photos app, it still plays. After about 7 days, the video gets deleted. I think I am saving in my tmp directory, but i'm not sure. What I need to do is to map URL in the form: /stadia?id=1?format=xml to /stadia/1.xml Or even something like: /myApp?model=<model_name>?id=<id>?format=xml to /<model_name/<id>.xml Is it possible to craft appropriate route in Rails?

  • Developing GWT without a net connection?

    Hi, When I'm developing my gwt project without a network connection, is there a way to detect this? For example, I have a widget that has an Image in it, and the widget does not display until the Image url request times out (takes a long time, like 2 minutes?). Also, whenever I refresh the page in hosted mode, it doesn't finish loading for about a minute, when no network connection - seems like gwt is trying to contact some external website and blocking on that until it times out too - making things really slow - any way to stop that too? Thanks

  • Disable nested sorting in dojo enhancedGrid

    I'm currently trying to disable the nested sorting, as it does not pass the parameters for the nested sort to the store url (only the first sorted column gets passed over). I tried to set "nestedSorting: false" in the grid setup (programmatically), but the sorting is still being showed in the grid headers. Isn't it possible to disable the nested sort?

  • ui header is blocking a div

    i have built jQuery drop-down menu which is having problems floating over the UI header. Flash and everything else is fine, menu has no problem floating over anything except UI headers, i have tried messing with z-index in css files but it seems that jQuery script is over writing all of my css. the JS files are minified so i can not edit them. When I'm running my program, I get the following error: ... nested exception is javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: ejb not bound The error occurs at the start up when Java wants to create a certain bean. The Bean is a SimpleRemoteStatelessSessionProxyFactoryBean. Could it be that I ain't got the rights to access the naming provider URL although I can ping it? When accessing the bean on my local JBoss there are no problems.

    hi there! i updated the code from my website to a 'better' veersion i think, it works fine but when i try to implement the friendly URL and load it, works, but with no CSS, Javascript or images, but if i corret the routes for the css to http://website/css/style.css (instead of ./css/style.css) it i do see the CSS properly loaded, any idea why? Example: http://keepyourlinks.com/link1.php?id=25 VS http://keepyourlinks.com/keep/25/series-yonkis (i updated the route of the CSS, but the Javascript is missing an the images asweell) I really would like not to have to correct al routes :(
