  Fatal error: Call to a member function getArea() on a non-object in {directory}/includes/src/Mage_Core_Model_App_Area.php on line 155 Cropped up when I installed an extension that I wrote on a clean install of Magento. When ported to the dev server it took it down and I cant seem to find where it has originated. Disabling the extension changes nothing. Along with clearing the cache and all the regular Magento hiccups. I've ensured that file permissions are correct to the best of my knowledge.

• Silverlight 4: Any touch library that supports gestures & touch events?

  Silverlight provides only Touch.FrameReported event and doesnt provide any events for the UIElements like it does for mouse events(ex: MouseDown, MouseUp). Is there any touch library available for the silverlight which provides these touch events and supports gestures. Google did not help me much or may be my search terms are not correct.   I ask this question because the international standardization subcommittee for programming languages, or ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22 Programming languages, states on this page: http://www.open-std.org/JTC1/SC22/WG14/www/standards that Technical Corrigendum 3, the latest one, was published in 2007. Now I take it that this means the C language it self was changed and that the books and tutorials pre-2007 may contain outdated information. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Adam

  I noticed that the DLLs in the bin folder for asp.net websites do not seem to be getting saved. When I goto a new computer and get latest I am missing the DLLs. What is the correct way to fix this ? Should I create a seperate folder to contains all DLLs ? And then can I somehow tell my bin references to goto that folder to get the DLLs?

This will become an error in GHC 7.6.1. When checking declaration: foreign import ccall safe "static bitfield_direction" bitfield_direction :: CInt I get similar warnings with FFI calls, even though I have import Foreign.C.Types(CInt).   i have written a object selection algorithm which picks the objects by there color. i give every object an unique color and then i just have to use the glReadPixels method to check which object was selected this works fine and is really fast but the problem is that the frame is displayed on the screen with all the picking-colors so the screen flashes every time you select something. so my question is: how do i write everything in the correct display buffer but dont display it on the screen to avoid these flashes?
