    I have a image (png file) with opacity 35%, i want for example: Set the opacity image to a panel BackgroundImage, the panel is over a form with backcolor black, i thought (like in photoshop happen) that the opacity of the image will do a more clear color in the panel area, but the real result is that panel appear entire white, someone know how i can do this efect in windows forms?

  • Why are my "+" characters turned into spaces in my CGI program that handles Ajax requests?

    I'm collecting text through a web form and noticing that when it is collected by my Perl CGI all instances of "+" are transformed into " ". I run the text through a JavaScript escape before submission, but escape seems to leave + unaltered. There must be something really obvious that I'm missing... how do I send the string "2 + 2 = 4" through and not have it arrive as "2 2 = 4"?

    I have a standard html form where the user can specify a website/domain: favourite website: [ ] I expect the user to type things like: [www.google.com] [www.yahoo.com] [www.example.co.jp] I want to validate the domain/site via javascript so if a user had typed something wrong: [www...google.com] [www.-example.com] I tell them straight away. However what I would like to do is instead of showing all those labels next to the input boxes (which breaks the layout) is just keep it simple and only change the colours of the input fields.   • Adding user role constraint redirects Browser to jsf.js script?

    My JSF form login was working with Constraint 1 however when I added Constraint 2 to my web.xml doing a submit on the form now takes me to a jsf javascript page. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I would like only administrators to be able to access the /admin/* pages and only registered users to access the entire site included admin files. BTW after I see the java script page I can still navigate to the intended page in the browser, I just don't want the user to see the intermediate js page or need to know the target page URL.
