  How does the following work? #include <limits> int main() { const int* const foo = &std::numeric_limits<int> ::digits; } I was under the impression that in order to take an address of a static const-ant member we had to physically define it in some translation unit in order to please the linker. That said, after looking at the preprocessed code for this TU, I couldn't find an external definition for the digits member (or any other relevant members). I tested this on two compilers (VC++ 10 and g++ 4.2.4) and got identical results (i.e., it works). Does the linker auto-magically link against an object file where this stuff is defined, or am I missing something obvious here?

  I am trying to create a dynamic hyperlink that depends on a value passed from a function: {% for item in field_list %} <a href={% url index_view %}{{ item }}/> {{ item }} </a> <br> {% endfor %} The problem is that one of the items in field_list is "Hockey Player". The link for some reason is dropping everything after the space, so it creates the hyperlink on the entire "Hockey Player", but the address is http://126.0.0.1:8000/Hockey How can I get it to go to http://126.0.0.1:8000/Hockey Player/ instead?

  Hello, I trying to do billing service. Seller can create bill from my website and send to the buyer. Once seller created bill, bill detail will be send to buyer email address. What I want to know is, at the bill information email, can i send payment link whether buyer can click payment link and carried to the paypal payment page directly. Will not be landing or redirecting from our page. Can it be possible ? Because when someone request money from paypal, we get the payment link from paypal which is directly go to the payment page. These are called from a string array in strings.xml <string name="app_name">Taxi Me</string> <string-array name="taxi_array"> <item>Barrys Taxi</item> <item>Boom Taxi</item> </string-array> What i was trying to do is create subitems for these so that i can show fields such as address and contact details etc. I made a customlistview a while back but cant work out how i can do it using the strings.xml file?   Hello @all following issue, I configure a DNS Zone "location.domain.tld" for my internal Network and it works well, but now I want to manage the domain.tld for my internal Network, but the domain.tld is managed by an external DNS Provider. In location.domain.tld there are all Clients and Servers for internal use only (with local IPs) all these clients resolve the global Mailserver (for example) over his external Address but now i want to catch single Domainnames and resolve it on my own way. • How to load secure S3 images into Flex with temporary URLs

  I have some secure images on S3 that I need to load into Flex. I was expecting to be able to do this using signed temporary URLs but can't get it working. I know the URLs I'm generating are correct, because they load fine in my browsers' address bar. Moreover, Flex has no problem loading my images with a non-signed url when they are public, but as soon as I try signing the urls all the images fail, whether public or not. I've tried image.source = signedURL, image.load(signedURL), etc. If I try loading the file with URLLoader/URLStream, it looks like I'm getting the data OK, but I'm not sure how to translate those results to an Image control. Is this just an issue with the Image control not being able to recognize signed urls? Do I have to load the image from a byte array? What would that look like?

  Hello everyone, I am building a Httphandler following these instructions here It manipulates HTTP POST and HTTP GET. I have a client with two buttons two POST and GET. After i've tested and happy everythings working I move it from localhost to IIS. Now when I do this I get an exception in the POST handler code. How on earth can I debug this code line by line? I managed to do this awhile ago, I thought it was by attaching to process but I can't work it out. I can emulate GET just by typing address in browser, post im not sure about. I've tried telnetting and sending it from there but haven't had any luck.

• How do you make an in-place construction of a struct casted to array compile in Visual C++ 2008?

  I'm working with quite a big codebase which compiles fine in linux but vc++ 2008 spits errors. The problem code goes like this: Declaration: typedef float vec_t; typedef vec_t vec2_t[2]; The codebase is littered with in-place construction like this one: (vec2_t){0, divs} Or more complex: (vec2_t){ 1/(float)Vid_GetScreenW(), 1/(float)Vid_GetScreenH()} As far as I know, this code constructs a struct, then converts it to an array and passes the address to the function. I personally never used in-place construction like this so I have no clue how to make this one work. I don't maintain the linux build, only the windows one. And I can't get it to compile. Is there some switch, some macro to make vc++ compile it? Maybe there is a similar nifty way to construct those arrays and pass them to the functions in-place that compiles just fine in vc++?

  In my app, I have an external monitor that pings the app ever few minutes and measures its uptime / response time Every time the monitor connects, a new server session is created, so when I look at the number of sessions, it's always a minimum of 15, even during times where there are no actual users. I tried to address this with putting the session creation code into a filter, but that doesn't seem to do it - I guess session automatically gets created when the user opens the first page? all() { before = { if (actionName=='signin') { def session = request.session //creates session if not exists } } } I can configure the monitor to pass in a paramter if I need to (i.e. http://servername.com/?nosession, but not sure how to make sure the session isn't created.

  I need to do transactions (begin, commit or rollback), locks (select for update). How can I do it in a document model db? Edit: The case is this: I want to run an auctions site. And I think how to direct purchase as well. In a direct purchase I have to decrement the quantity field in the item record, but only if the quantity is greater than zero. That is why I need locks and transactions. I don't know how to address that without locks and/or transactions. Can I solve this with CouchDB?

  Can someone explain a couple of very simple concepts to me - I'm interested in mobile devices running android and how they are identified over networks. Some scenarios: Device is connected over WiFi - presumably the device has a standard IP address as with any host and can communicate with any other android host over TCP/IP (assuming it knows the participating device's IP? Device is connected over bluetooth - how are devices identified in this case? Device is connected over mobile operator's network - this is the one I'm interested in and confused by - is there anyway for two or more devices to discover each other and communicate via the mobile operator's network? How does a device communicate with a backend server in this scenario? In other words, how do apps and devices communicate when not connected to a WiFi network? Thanks for any advice..

So if we type the blog address as http://www.skill-guru.com/blog it would add a / at end and open it as http://www.skill-guru.com/blog/ Now our application opens as root in domain http://www.skill-guru.com. Our blog is opening as http://www.skill-guru.com/blog/ but not as http://www.skill-guru.com/blog. I am not able to understand the reason. because of this issue , search is also not working.   Hi all, I've done some searching for this but cannot find what I'm after, specifically. I have two files: "a.txt", "b.txt". Each contains a list of email addresses, separated by newlines. For all lines in "a.txt", I need to check for a match anywhere in "b.txt". If so, the email address in "a.txt" needs to be removed. (Alternatively, a new file "c.txt" could be created with the output if that is easier.) I'm using Mac OS X, so am looking for a shell script that could help, or pointers to how I'd go about constructing the script. Thanks for any help.

• Double hop SQL delegation not working

  I've been trying to diagnose this for some time, and unfortunately Im still getting the dreaded anonymous logon issue when trying to connect to a sql db as a domain user. Steps taken: App Pool created with delegation service acct Site / Virtual dir running with Integrated Windows auth only Made sure site itself can use kerberos KB 215383 Service acct added to IIS_WPG group Service acct added to "act as part of operating system" under Local Security settings Service acct added to Log on as service under Local Security Settings HTTP SPN set for web address + service account (and FQDN) MSSQLSvc SPN set for sql box and domain acct sql is running as Trust for delegation turned on service acct, specified services, and sql service acct After all this, Im still getting the exact same error from when I started. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. This has advanced my balding by at least 5 years so far. I would greatly appreciate any additional tips on diagnosing or setting up.
