  • I have a NGINX server configured to work with node.js, but many times a file of 1.03MB of js is not loaded by various browser and various pc

    - by Totty
    I'm using this in a local LAN so it should be quite fast. The nginx server use the node.js server to serve static files, so it must pass throught node.js to download the files, but that is not a problem when I'm not using the nginx. In chrome with debugger on I can see that the status is: 206 - partial content and it only has downloaded 31KB of 1.03MB. After 1.1 min it turns red and the status failed. Waiting time: 6ms Receiving: 1.1 min The headers in google chrom: Request URL:http://192.168.1.16/production/assembly/script/production.js Request Method:GET Status Code:206 Partial Content Request Headersview source Accept:*/* Accept-Charset:ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.3 Accept-Encoding:gzip,deflate,sdch Accept-Language:pt-PT,pt;q=0.8,en-US;q=0.6,en;q=0.4 Connection:keep-alive Cookie:connect.sid=s%3Abls2qobcCaJ%2FyBNZwedtDR9N.0vD4Fi03H1bEdCszGsxIjjK0lZIjJhLnToWKFVxZOiE Host:192.168.1.16 If-Range:"1081715-1350053827000" Range:bytes=16090-16090 Referer:http://192.168.1.16/production/assembly/ User-Agent:Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0) AppleWebKit/537.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/22.0.1229.94 Safari/537.4 Response Headersview source Accept-Ranges:bytes Cache-Control:public, max-age=0 Connection:keep-alive Content-Length:1 Content-Range:bytes 16090-16090/1081715 Content-Type:application/javascript Date:Mon, 15 Oct 2012 09:18:50 GMT ETag:"1081715-1350053827000" Last-Modified:Fri, 12 Oct 2012 14:57:07 GMT Server:nginx/1.1.19 X-Powered-By:Express My nginx configurations: File 1: user totty; worker_processes 4; pid /var/run/nginx.pid; events { worker_connections 768; # multi_accept on; } http { ## # Basic Settings ## sendfile on; tcp_nopush on; tcp_nodelay on; keepalive_timeout 65; types_hash_max_size 2048; # server_tokens off; # server_names_hash_bucket_size 64; # server_name_in_redirect off; include /etc/nginx/mime.types; default_type application/octet-stream; ## # Logging Settings ## access_log /home/totty/web/production01_server/node_modules/production/_logs/_NGINX_access.txt; error_log /home/totty/web/production01_server/node_modules/production/_logs/_NGINX_error.txt; ## # Gzip Settings ## gzip on; gzip_disable "msie6"; # gzip_vary on; # gzip_proxied any; # gzip_comp_level 6; # gzip_buffers 16 8k; # gzip_http_version 1.1; # gzip_types text/plain text/css application/json application/x-javascript text/xml application/xml application/xml+rss text/javascript; ## # nginx-naxsi config ## # Uncomment it if you installed nginx-naxsi ## #include /etc/nginx/naxsi_core.rules; ## # nginx-passenger config ## # Uncomment it if you installed nginx-passenger ## #passenger_root /usr; #passenger_ruby /usr/bin/ruby; ## # Virtual Host Configs ## autoindex on; include /home/totty/web/production01_server/_deployment/nginxConfigs/server/*; } File that is included by the previous file: server { # custom location for entry # using only "/" instead of "/production/assembly" it # would allow you to go to "thatip/". • MySQL Connector/Net 6.6.2 has been released

    - by fernando
MySQL Connector/Net 6.6.2, a new version of the all-managed .NET driver for MySQL has been released.  This is the first of two beta releases intended to introduce users to the new features in the release.  This release is feature complete it should be stable enough for users to understand the new features and how we expect them to work.  As is the case with all non-GA releases, it should not be used in any production environment.  It is appropriate for use with MySQL server versions 5.0-5.6 It is now available in source and binary form from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/#downloads and mirror sites (note that not all mirror sites may be up to date at this point-if you can't find this version on some mirror, please try again later or choose another download site.) The 6.6 version of MySQL Connector/Net brings the following new features:   * Stored routine debugging   * Entity Framework 4.3 Code First support   * Pluggable authentication (now third parties can plug new authentications mechanisms into the driver).   * Full Visual Studio 2012 support: everything from Server Explorer to Intellisense & the Stored Routine debugger. Stored Procedure Debugging ------------------------------------------- We are very excited to introduce stored procedure debugging into our Visual Studio integration.  It works in a very intuitive manner by simply clicking 'Debug Routine' from Server Explorer. You can debug stored routines, functions & triggers. Some of the new features in this release include:   * Besides normal breakpoints, you can define conditional & pass count breakpoints.   * Now the debugger editor shows colorizing.   * Now you can change the values of locals in a function scope (previously caused deadlock due to functions executing within their own transaction).   * Now you can also debug triggers for 'replace' sql statements.   * In general anything related to locals, watches, breakpoints, stepping & call stack should work in a similar way to the C#'s Visual Studio debugger. Some limitations remains, due to the current debugger architecture:   * Some MySQL functions cannot be debugged currently (get_lock, release_lock, begin, commit, rollback, set transaction level)..   * Only one debug session may be active on a given server. The Debugger is feature complete at this point. We look forward to your feedback. Documentation ------------------------------------- The documentation is still being developed and will be readily available soon (before Beta 2).  You can view current Connector/Net documentation at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/connector-net.html You can find our team blog at http://blogs.oracle.com/MySQLOnWindows. You can also post questions on our forums at http://forums.mysql.com/. Enjoy and thanks for the support!

  • JTF Tranlsation Festival 2011

?????????????????????? (MT) ??????????????????????? JTF ????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???5??!???21?JTF???????? ? ??:2011?11?29?(?)9:30~20:30(??9:00) ? ??:??????????(????)?(??) ? ??:(?)?????? ??:JTF?????????? ? http://www.jtf.jp/jp/festival/festival_top.html ????????????????????????????????MT ????????????????????????????????????????????????? 90 ???!??(!?)?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????? http://www.jtf.jp/jp/festival/festival_program.html#koen_04 ?????????????????????????????? English:  It's been a while since the last post... I have been working on machine translation (MT) and post editing (PE) for Japanese.  Last year was my first step in MT+PE area, and I would take this year as an advanced step.  I plan to talk over Post editing 2011 (Advanced Step) on November 27 at JTF Translation Festival.  ?5 days before application due? 21st JTF Translation Festival ? Date:Nov 29, 2011 Tuesday 9:30~20:30(Gate open: 9:00) ? Place:Arcadia Ichigaya Tokyo ? http://www.jtf.jp/jp/festival/festival_top.html In this session, I would like to expand the thought on "how to best utilize MT and PE" either from the view of Client and Translator.  I will show some examples of post editing as a guideline to know what is the best way and most effective way to do post-edit for Japanese.  Also, I will discuss what is the best practice for MT users (Client). The session lasts 90 minutes... sound a little long for me, but I want to spend more time for discussion than last year.  It would be great to exchange thought or experiences about MT and PE.  What is your concerns or problems in the daily work with MT ?  If you have some, please bring them to my session at JTF Translation Festival.  Here is my session details (Japanese): http://www.jtf.jp/jp/festival/festival_program.html#koen_04 Here is the outline of my session: What is the advantage of MT ? Does it solve all the problems about cost, resource, and quality ?  Well, it is not a magic.  So, you cannot expect all at once.  When you have a problem, there are 3 options... 1. Be patient and wait until everything is ready, 2. Run a workaround using anything available now, 3. Find out something completely new and spend time and money. This time, I will focus Option 2 - do something with what we already have.  That is, I will discuss how we can best utilize MT in our daily business.  My view is two ways: From Client point of view, and From Translator point of view Looking forward to meeting many people and exchanging thoughts and information!

  • Weird Apache Access Logs

    - by user38480
I see repeated requests like these in my Apache Access Logs and they have been eating up all my CPU. I have a normal WordPress installation. All i changed in the Apache Configuration was changing the DocumentRoot from /var/www/html to /var/www for both ssl and the default configuration. Also, the file referenced in the requests(updatedll.jpeg) does not exist on my server and also isn't referenced in the source code served by any page of the web application. Could this be a security threat? What are these actually and what can i do to stop them. I changed the ip address of my server. They still kept coming. Meaning that somebody is actually hitting the domain name and not the ip address. Why does my server send a 301 for these requests? Shouldn't it be sending a 404? Is it because Wordpress is installed in my root directory and the .htaccess file present for Wordpress is sending a 301 redirect? My disk access logs also seem to have high peaks intermittently. But nobody is actually accessing the site. I see no access logs except these below. Also, i see that all the requests seem to be coming from one of the following 5 ip addresses. 201.4.132.43 - - [05/Jun/2014:07:35:08 -0400] "GET /updatedll.jpg HTTP/1.1" 301 465 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; BTRS103681; GTB7.5; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; InfoPath.2; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; AskTbATU3/5.15.29.67612; BRI/2)" 187.40.241.48 - - [05/Jun/2014:07:35:08 -0400] "GET /updatedll.jpg HTTP/1.1" 301 465 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; GTB7.5; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)" 186.56.134.132 - - [05/Jun/2014:07:35:10 -0400] "GET /updatedll.jpg HTTP/1.0" 301 428 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)" 71.223.252.14 - - [05/Jun/2014:07:35:13 -0400] "GET /updatedll.jpg HTTP/1.1" 301 465 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; BTRS31756; GTB7.5; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; InfoPath.2)" 85.245.229.167 - - [05/Jun/2014:07:35:14 -0400] "GET /updatedll.jpg HTTP/1.1" 301 465 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; MAAU; .NET4.0C; BRI/2; .NET4.0E; MAAU)"

  • Missing Edit Option on Silverlight 4 DataForm

    - by rip
    I’m trying out the Silverlight 4 beta DataForm control. I don’t seem to be able to get the edit and paging options at the top of the control like I’ve seen in Silverlight 3 examples. Has something changed or am I doing something wrong? Here’s my code: <UserControl x:Class="SilverlightApplication7.MainPage" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="300" d:DesignWidth="400" xmlns:dataFormToolkit="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Controls;assembly=System.Windows.Controls.Data.DataForm.Toolkit"> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <dataFormToolkit:DataForm HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="10" Name="myDataForm" VerticalAlignment="Top" /> </Grid> </UserControl> public partial class MainPage : UserControl { public MainPage() { InitializeComponent(); this.Loaded += new RoutedEventHandler(MainPage_Loaded); } void MainPage_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { Movie movie = new Movie(); myDataForm.CurrentItem = movie; } public enum Genres { Comedy, Fantasy, Drama, Thriller } public class Movie { public int MovieID { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } public int Year { get; set; } public DateTime AddedOn { get; set; } public string Producer { get; set; } public Genres Genre { get; set; } } }

  • Avoid richfaces to send back javascript libraries in the ajax responses

    - by pakore
I'm using JSF 1.2 with Richfaces, and for every ajax request, the server is sending back the response, whichi is good, but it also contains all the links to the javascript files. I want to improve the performance so I just want the <body> to be returned, because all the javascript files are already loaded in the browser when the user logs in (my app is not restful). How can i do that? Thanks This is an example of a response to reRender an image when clicking a button. <?xml version="1.0"?> <html lang="nl_NL" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head><title></title><link Download http://allseeing-i.com/ASIHTTPRequest/. This works like a charm and is a good wrapper and handles things nicely. The make the request this way to the asp.net code listed below. Create a asp.net webpage that has a file control. IPHONE CODE: NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:@"http://YourWebSite/Upload.aspx"]; ASIFormDataRequest *request = [ASIFormDataRequest requestWithURL:url]; //These two must be added. ASP.NET Looks for them, if //they are not there in the request, the file will not upload [request setPostValue:@"" forKey:@"__VIEWSTATE"]; [request setPostValue:@"" forKey:@"__EVENTVALIDATION"]; [request setFile:@"PATH_TO_Local_File_on_Iphone/file/jpg" forKey:@"fu"]; [request startSynchronous]; This is the website code <%@ Page Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeFile="Upload.aspx.vb" Inherits="Upload" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head runat="server"> <title>Untitled Page</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <div> <asp:FileUpload ID="fu" runat="server" EnableViewState="False" /> </div> <asp:Button ID="Submit" runat="server" Text="Submit" /> </form> </body> </html> //Code behind page Partial Class Upload Inherits System.Web.UI.Page Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load Dim tMarker As New EventMarkers If fu.HasFile = True Then 'fu.PostedFile fu.SaveAs("E:\InetPub\UploadedImage\" & fu.FileName) End If End Sub End Class

  • Problems with jQuery getJSON using local files in Chrome

    - by Tauren
I have a very simple test page that uses XHR requests with jQuery's $.getJSON and $.ajax methods. The same page works in some situations and not in others. Specificially, it doesn't work in Chrome on Ubuntu. I'm testing on Ubuntu 9.10 with Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta and Mac OSX 10.6.2 with Chrome 5.0.307.9 beta. It works correctly when files are installed on a web server from both Ubuntu/Chrome and Mac/Chrome (try it out here). It works correctly when files are installed on local hard drive in Mac/Chrome (accessed with file:///...). It FAILS when files are installed on local hard drive in Ubuntu/Chrome (access with file:///...). The small set of 3 files can be downloaded in a tar/gzip file from here: http://issues.tauren.com/testjson/testjson.tgz When it works, the Chrome console will say: XHR finished loading: "http://issues.tauren.com/testjson/data.json". index.html:16Using getJSON index.html:21 Object result: "success" __proto__: Object index.html:22success XHR finished loading: "http://issues.tauren.com/testjson/data.json". index.html:29Using ajax with json dataType index.html:34 Object result: "success" __proto__: Object index.html:35success XHR finished loading: "http://issues.tauren.com/testjson/data.json". index.html:46Using ajax with text dataType index.html:51{"result":"success"} index.html:52undefined When it doesn't work, the Chrome console will show this: index.html:16Using getJSON index.html:21null index.html:22Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'result' of null index.html:29Using ajax with json dataType index.html:34null index.html:35Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'result' of null index.html:46Using ajax with text dataType index.html:51 index.html:52undefined Notice that it doesn't even show the XHR requests, although the success handler is run. I swear this was working previously in Ubuntu/Chrome, and am worried something got messed up. I already uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, but that didn't help. Can someone try it out locally on your Ubuntu system and tell me if you have any troubles? Note that it seems to be working fine in Firefox.

  • apache htaccess rewrite rules make redirection loop

    - by Ali
Hi guys, Have a very strange problem with Apache .htaccess URL Rewriting and Redirection. Here's my setup: I have a zend application with a single point of entry (index.php) directly under my apache document root (call this the "public" folder). I also have all other public files (images, js, css, etc.) under the public folder. Here, I also have a wordpress blog under the "blog" folder. There's an empty test folder too The Problem When I go to mydomain.com/blog, I get redirected to http://www.theredpin.com/blog (correctly), then to http://www.theredpin.com/blog/ (just with an extra / at end), finally to http://theredpin.com/blog/ -- and we're back where we started. The loop continues. What I don't understand is why would wordpress try to remove the www? I'm guessing it's wordpress because my empty test folder acts just fine! PLEASE HELP. I"M REALLY DESPERATE :( Thank you very much Other things that happen: When I go to mydomain.com, i correctly get redirected to www.mydomain.com When I go to www.mydomain.com, i correctly stay where I am When I go to www.mydomain.com/test or mydomain.com/test, behaviour is correct. Setup So my .htaccess file does the following: If there's no www., then add it and do a 301 redirect. Here's the code I use RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mydomain.com [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [L,R=301] If the request is NOT for a resource (image, etc.), or the blog, then load zend application by rewriting to index.php RewriteRule !((^blog(/)?.*$)|(.(js|ico|gif|jpg|jpeg|png|css|cur|JPG|html|txt))$) index.php Thanks again for all your help!!! • Wicket, Spring and Hibernate - Testing with Unitils - Error: Table not found in statement [select re

    - by John
Hi there. I've been following a tutorial and a sample application, namely 5 Days of Wicket - Writing the tests: http://www.mysticcoders.com/blog/2009/03/10/5-days-of-wicket-writing-the-tests/ I've set up my own little project with a simple shoutbox that saves messages to a database. I then wanted to set up a couple of tests that would make sure that if a message is stored in the database, the retrieved object would contain the exact same data. Upon running mvn test all my tests fail. The exception has been pasted in the first code box underneath. I've noticed that even though my unitils.properties says to use the 'hdqldb'-dialect, this message is still output in the console window when starting the tests: INFO - Dialect - Using dialect: org.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect. I've added the entire dump from the console as well at the bottom of this post (which goes on for miles and miles :-)). Upon running mvn test all my tests fail, and the exception is: Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Table not found in statement [select relname from pg_class] at org.hsqldb.jdbc.Util.sqlException(Unknown Source) at org.hsqldb.jdbc.jdbcStatement.fetchResult(Unknown Source) at org.hsqldb.jdbc.jdbcStatement.executeQuery(Unknown Source) at org.apache.commons.dbcp.DelegatingStatement.executeQuery(DelegatingStatement.java:188) at org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.DatabaseMetadata.initSequences(DatabaseMetadata.java:151) at org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.DatabaseMetadata.(DatabaseMetadata.java:69) at org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.DatabaseMetadata.(DatabaseMetadata.java:62) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean$3.doInHibernate(LocalSessionFactoryBean.java:958) at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateTemplate.doExecute(HibernateTemplate.java:419) ... 49 more I've set up my unitils.properties file like so: database.driverClassName=org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver database.url=jdbc:hsqldb:mem:PUBLIC database.userName=sa database.password= database.dialect=hsqldb database.schemaNames=PUBLIC My abstract IntegrationTest class: @SpringApplicationContext({"/com/upbeat/shoutbox/spring/applicationContext.xml", "applicationContext-test.xml"}) public abstract class AbstractIntegrationTest extends UnitilsJUnit4 { private ApplicationContext applicationContext; } applicationContext-test.xml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"? <beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:tx="http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx" xsi:schemaLocation=" http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-2.5.xsd http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx/spring-tx-2.5.xsd" <bean id="dataSource" class="org.unitils.database.UnitilsDataSourceFactoryBean"/ </beans and finally, one of the test classes: package com.upbeat.shoutbox.web; import org.apache.wicket.spring.injection.annot.test.AnnotApplicationContextMock; import org.apache.wicket.util.tester.WicketTester; import org.junit.Before; import org.junit.Test; import org.unitils.spring.annotation.SpringBeanByType; import com.upbeat.shoutbox.HomePage; import com.upbeat.shoutbox.integrations.AbstractIntegrationTest; import com.upbeat.shoutbox.persistence.ShoutItemDao; import com.upbeat.shoutbox.services.ShoutService; public class TestHomePage extends AbstractIntegrationTest { @SpringBeanByType private ShoutService svc; @SpringBeanByType private ShoutItemDao dao; protected WicketTester tester; @Before public void setUp() { AnnotApplicationContextMock appctx = new AnnotApplicationContextMock(); appctx.putBean("shoutItemDao", dao); appctx.putBean("shoutService", svc); tester = new WicketTester(); } @Test public void testRenderMyPage() { //start and render the test page tester.startPage(HomePage.class); //assert rendered page class tester.assertRenderedPage(HomePage.class); //assert rendered label component tester.assertLabel("message", "If you see this message wicket is properly configured and running"); } } Dump from console when running mvn test: [INFO] Scanning for projects... • Want custom title / image / description in facebook share link

    - by Ezop
Hi! I am making a flash app that demonstrates potensial traffic injuries when driving at different speeds. I want the user to be able to share this information on facebook. However this demands that i can customize the text that will appear on facebook in some manner. I am making an url that is opened in a blank window (from the flash app itself). I specify the u and t parameters, putting the generated message as the t parameter. But this seems to always be overridden by the pages title. If i omit the title tag from the html code, the file name is used (also overriding the specified title). http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://espentokerud.com/face/addiste.html&t=test; I also tried url-encoding the url, but to no avail. http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3a%2f%2fespentokerud.com%2fface%2faddiste.html&t=test; I also tried using the addthis API, but experience the same shortcomings. The funny thing is that if i post a swf, the title and description can be customized, and it is also possible to specify a screenshot. But if i dont post a swf, this seems to be ignored. I am aware that I can use meta tags on the html page to specify the thumbnail image, title and description, but some of this content has to be based on calculations inside the flash app. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? I am thankful for any help!

  • XmlSerializer Deserialize failures

    - by smvlad
I have wsdl from third party server. Method that i'm interested in returns XmlNode. My thought was wrap web methods and use XmlSerializer to return strongly typed objects. Returned xml looks like this (i removed soap headers): <Response xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:type="ResponseExt" xmlns="http://www.thirdparty.com/lr/"> <Code>0</Code> <Message>SUCCESS</Message> <SessionId>session_token</SessionId> </Response> Looked simple. Created a class: [XmlRoot("Response")] public class MyClass { public string Code {get; set;} public string Message {get; set;} public string SessionId {get; set;} } Processing time: //XmlNode node = xml from above XmlSerializer serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(MyClass)); XmlNodeReader reader = new XmlNodeReader(node); Myclass myclass = serializer.Deserialize(reader) as MyClass Last line is where it blows up with inner exception message: The specified type was not recognized: name='ResponseExt', namespace='http://www.thirdparty.com/lr/', at . I can't figure out how to make Serializer happy and what exactly these two mean xsi:type="ResponseExt" xmlns="http://www.thirdparty.com/lr/ As always any advice and pointer are appreciated

  • Getting data from UITableView

    - by Tejaswi Yerukalapudi
Hi, I have a few custom UITableViewCells - http://img11.imageshack.us/i/customfacilitiescell.png/ which are added to this UIViewController - http://img189.imageshack.us/i/facilitycontroller.png/ Now, on clicking a button in the controller, I'd like to get the on/off status of all the UISwitches in the controller. Thanks, Teja Edit: I've made a few edits, but I still can't figure out how to do this. My program structure currently - A CustomCell.xib that looks like this - http://img11.imageshack.us/i/customfacilitiescell.png/ A CustomCellController that a subclass of UITableViewCell that has the IBOutlets for the labels and switches from above. Now I have a UIViewController<UITableViewDataSource, UITableViewDelegate> (Say, Screen1Controller) which looks like - http://img189.imageshack.us/i/facilitycontroller.png/ The tableviewcell is being created like this - - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { static NSString *Id= @"CustomFacilitiesCell"; CustomFacilitiesCellController *cell = (CustomFacilitiesCellController *)[tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:Id]; if(cell == nil) { NSArray *nib = [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"CustomFacilitiesCell" owner:self options:nil]; for (id oneObject in nib) { if([oneObject isKindOfClass:[CustomFacilitiesCellController class]]) cell = (CustomFacilitiesCellController *) oneObject; } } NSUInteger row = [indexPath row]; CustomFacilitiesCellController *rowData = (CustomFacilitiesCellController *)[self.facilities objectAtIndex:row]; cell.facname.text = rowData.facname.text; cell.FacID.text = rowData.FacID.text; cell.facSwitch = [(CustomFacilitiesCellController *)rowData facSwitch]; UISwitch *temp = cell.facSwitch; [(UISwitch *)[cell facSwitch] addTarget:self action:@selector(facSwitchOptionChanged:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventValueChanged]; cell.facSwitch.on = NO; //cell.facSwitch.enabled = FALSE; cell.accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryNone; return cell; } - (IBAction) facSwitchOptionChanged:(id) sender { int i=0; } In particular, my problem is that the facSwitchOptionChanged() isn't getting called. Thanks again for the help, Teja.

  • Facebook, iframe app, fb:request-form, action attribute problem

    - by Unreality
    Hi all, I'm making a facebook iframe application I'm making a request form with my own form data. What should I do in order to process the data? If I put action="http://apps.facebook.com/[appName]/abc.php" , i.e. <fb:serverfbml> <script type="text/fbml"> <fb:fbml> <fb:request-form action="http://apps.facebook.com/[appName]/abc.php" method="post" type="abc" content="abc"> <textarea name="pm" fb_protected="true" ></textarea> <fb:multi-friend-selector showborder="false" max="35" actiontext="test" email_invite="true" bypass="cancel" /> </fb:request-form> </fb:fbml> </script> </fb:serverfbml> Then the result is funny... A facebook page inside the facebook app's iframe ! but if I put action="http://[my own domain / facebook connect url]/abc.php" , i.e. <fb:serverfbml> <script type="text/fbml"> <fb:fbml> <fb:request-form action="http://[my own domain / facebook connect url]/abc.php" method="post" type="abc" content="abc"> <textarea name="pm" fb_protected="true" ></textarea> <fb:multi-friend-selector showborder="false" max="35" actiontext="test" email_invite="true" bypass="cancel" /> </fb:request-form> </fb:fbml> </script> </fb:serverfbml> Then the result page will be rendered WITHOUT facebook template (that means losing all top facebook banner and bottom facebook bar like the facebook chats etc) Anyone knows what's wrong? Thanks a lot for reading

  • Binding "Text-Property" of a derived textbox to another textbox doesn´t work

    - by Jehof
Hello, i have a class 'MyTextBox' that derives from the default TextBox in Silverlight. This class currently contains no additional code. I set up a binding in xaml to bind the Text-Property of MyTextbox to another Textbox to reflect the input made in the Textbox. The effect is that MyTextBox doesn´t update and not display the text of the other Textbox. Additional i made an equal binding for a normal Textbox. And this works. Here´s the XAML for the bindings. <UserControl x:Class="Silverlight.Sample.Dummy" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:my="clr-namespace:Sample" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="300" d:DesignWidth="400"> <StackPanel x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White"> <TextBox Height="23" x:Name="textBox2" Width="120" /> <TextBox Text="{Binding ElementName=textBox2, Path=Text, Mode=TwoWay}" Width="120" /> <my:NumberTextBox Width="120" Text="{Binding ElementName=textBox2, Path=Text, Mode=OneWay}" /> </StackPanel> Is there something special to set for binding, when i derive from a control. PS: I tried a binding to a dummy object with INotifyPropertyChanged and set it as DataContext for the existing Textboxes. This test works as expected and my derived textbox gets updated.

  • How to pass SOAP headers into python SUDS that are not defined in WSDL file

    - by chrissygormley
Hello, I have a camera on my network, I am trying to connect to it with suds but suds doesn't send all the information needed. I need to put extra soap headers not defined in the WSDL file so the camera can understand the message. All the headers are contained in a SOAP envelope and then the suds command be in the body of the message. I have checked the suds website and it says to pass in the headers like so: from suds.sax.element import Element client = client(url) ssnns = ('ssn', 'http://namespaces/sessionid') ssn = Element('SessionID', ns=ssnns).setText('123') client.set_options(soapheaders=ssn) result = client.service.addPerson(person) Now I am not sure how I would implement this, say for example I have the below header: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:SOAP ENC="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-encoding" xmlns:p1="http://www.website.org/ver10/p/wsdl"> .<SOAP-ENV:Header> Using this or a similar example does anyone know hos I would get this passed into the soap command so my camera understands? Thanks

  • Cannot debug views in MVC2 project, getting "The resource cannot be found" error

    - by schefdev
I'm running Visual Studio 2008 sp1 on Win7, with MVC2 RTM installed. I created a new MVC2 project using the wizard and am unable to debug specific pages. With webforms and even MVC1, I was able to sit on a View page, hit F5, and then have the integrated web server in VS2008 start on the page I was working on. Very handy for building up app logic. When I try this now I get a "The resource cannot be found" error page. I retried this just now with a stock new MVC2 Web Application project. Here are the steps I took after creating the new project to reproduce: Open up project settings. Under the Web subtab, set the Start Action to "Current Page". Leave all the other settings as is. Open one of the views up (e.g. Account/Register.aspx) Hit F5 to debug the project Note that the browser window which displays shows the error message "The resource cannot be found". The link I saw in my browser for this run was: http://localhost:49471/Views/Account/Register.aspx I did some googling and found suggestions related to ensuring all HTTP server pieces were installed. I double checked and made sure that "HTTP Errors" and "HTTP Redirection" were both installed. If I leave the project setting as it was originally, set to "Specific Page" with nothing in the text box, then routing works and I always get the default home page. I'm hoping this isn't the only option. Thanks!

  • Optimizing transition/movement smoothness for a 2D flash game.

    - by Tom
Update 6: Fenomenas suggested me to re-create everything as simple as possible. I had my doubts that this would make any difference as the algorithm remains the same, and performance did not seem to be the issue. Anyway, it was the only suggestion I got so here it is: 30 FPS: http://www.feedpostal.com/test/simple/30/SimpleMovement.html 40 FPS: http://www.feedpostal.com/test/simple/40/SimpleMovement.html 60 FPS: http://www.feedpostal.com/test/simple/60/SimpleMovement.html 100 FPS: http://www.feedpostal.com/test/simple/100/SimpleMovement.html The code: package { import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.events.Event; import flash.events.KeyboardEvent; import flash.utils.getTimer; [SWF(width="800", height="600", frameRate="40", backgroundColor="#000000")] public class SimpleMovement extends Sprite { private static const TURNING_SPEED:uint = 180; private static const MOVEMENT_SPEED:uint = 400; private static const RADIAN_DIVIDE:Number = Math.PI/180; private var playerObject:Sprite; private var shipContainer:Sprite; private var moving:Boolean = false; private var turningMode:uint = 0; private var movementTimestamp:Number = getTimer(); private var turningTimestamp:Number = movementTimestamp; public function SimpleMovement() { //step 1: create player object playerObject = new Sprite(); playerObject.graphics.lineStyle(1, 0x000000); playerObject.graphics.beginFill(0x6D7B8D); playerObject.graphics.drawRect(0, 0, 25, 50); //make it rotate around the center playerObject.x = 0 - playerObject.width / 2; playerObject.y = 0 - playerObject.height / 2; shipContainer = new Sprite(); shipContainer.addChild(playerObject); shipContainer.x = 100; shipContainer.y = 100; shipContainer.rotation = 180; addChild(shipContainer); //step 2: install keyboard hook when stage is ready addEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, stageReady, false, 0, true); //step 3: install rendering update poll addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, updatePoller, false, 0, true); } private function updatePoller(event:Event):void { var newTime:Number = getTimer(); //turning if (turningMode != 0) { var turningDeltaTime:Number = newTime - turningTimestamp; turningTimestamp = newTime; var rotation:Number = TURNING_SPEED * turningDeltaTime / 1000; if (turningMode == 1) shipContainer.rotation -= rotation; else shipContainer.rotation += rotation; } //movement if (moving) { var movementDeltaTime:Number = newTime - movementTimestamp; movementTimestamp = newTime; var distance:Number = MOVEMENT_SPEED * movementDeltaTime / 1000; var rAngle:Number = shipContainer.rotation * RADIAN_DIVIDE; //convert degrees to radian shipContainer.x += distance * Math.sin(rAngle); shipContainer.y -= distance * Math.cos(rAngle); } } private function stageReady(event:Event):void { //install keyboard hook stage.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, keyDown, false, 0, true); stage.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_UP, keyUp, false, 0, true); } private final function keyDown(event:KeyboardEvent):void { if ((event.keyCode == 87) && (!moving)) //87 = W { movementTimestamp = getTimer(); moving = true; } if ((event.keyCode == 65) && (turningMode != 1)) //65 = A { turningTimestamp = getTimer(); turningMode = 1; } else if ((event.keyCode == 68) && (turningMode != 2)) //68 = D { turningTimestamp = getTimer(); turningMode = 2; } } private final function keyUp(event:KeyboardEvent):void { if ((event.keyCode == 87) && (moving)) moving = false; //87 = W if (((event.keyCode == 65) || (event.keyCode == 68)) && (turningMode != 0)) turningMode = 0; //65 = A, 68 = D } } } The results were as I expected. Absolutely no improvement. I really hope that someone has another suggestion as this thing needs fixing. Also, I doubt it's my system as I have a pretty good one (8GB RAM, Q9550 QuadCore intel, ATI Radeon 4870 512MB). Also, everyone else I asked so far had the same issue with my client. During these differences, the shocking/warping/flickering movement was already going on. There is also 1 peak of 232ms, at this time there was a relatively big warp. This is however not the biggest problme, the biggest problem are the continuous small warps during normal movement. Does this give anyone a clue? Update 3: After testing, I know that the following factors are not causing my problem: Bitmap's quality - changed with photoshop to an uglier 8 colours optimized graphic, no improvement at all. Constant rotation of image while turning - disabled it, no improvement at all Browser rendering - tried to use the flash player standalone, no improvement at all I am 100% convinced that the problem lies in either my code or in my algorithm. Please, help me out. It has been almost two weeks (1 week that I asked this question on SO) now and I still have to get my golden answer. Update 1: see bottom for full flex project source and a live demo demonstrating my problem. I'm working on a 2d flash game. Player ships are created as an object: ships[id] = new GameShip(); When movement and rotation information is available, this is being directed to the corresponding ship: ships[id].setMovementMode(1); //move forward Now, within this GameShip object movement works using the "Event.ENTER_FRAME" event: addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, movementHandler); The following function is then being run: private final function movementHandler(event:Event):void { var newTimeStamp:uint = UtilLib.getTimeStamp(); //set current timeStamp var distance:Number = (newTimeStamp - movementTimeStamp) / 1000 * movementSpeed; //speed = x pixels forward every 1 second movementTimeStamp = newTimeStamp; //update old timeStamp var diagonalChange:Array = getDiagonalChange(movementAngle, distance); //the diagonal position update based on angle and distance charX += diagonalChange[0]; charY += diagonalChange[1]; if (shipContainer) { //when the container is ready to be worked with shipContainer.x = charX; shipContainer.y = charY; } } private final function getDiagonalChange(angle:Number, distance:Number):Array { var rAngle:Number = angle * Math.PI/180; //convert degrees to radian return [Math.sin(rAngle) * distance, (Math.cos(rAngle) * distance) * -1]; } When the object is no longer moving, the event listener will be removed. The same method is being used for rotation. Everything works almost perfect. I've set the project's target FPS to 100 and created a FPS counter. According to the FPS counter, the average FPS in firefox is around 100, while the top is 1000 and the bottom is 22. I think that the bottom and top FPSs are only happening during the initialization of the client (startup). The problem is that the ship appears to be almost perfectly smooth, while it should be just that without the "almost" part. It's almost as if the ship is "flickering" very very fast, you can't actually see it but it's hard to focus on the object while it's moving with your eyes. Also, every now and then, there seems to be a bit of a framerate spike, as if the client is skipping a couple of frames, you then see it quickly warp. It is very difficult to explain what the real problem is, but in general it's that the movement is not perfectly smooth. So, do you have any suggestions on how to make the movement or transition of objects perfectly smooth? Update 1: I re-created the client to demonstrate my problem. Please check it out. The client: http://feedpostal.com/test/MovementTest.html The Actionscript Project (full source): http://feedpostal.com/test/MovementTest.rar An example of a smooth flash game (not created by me): http://www.gamesforwork.com/games/swf/Mission%20Racing_august_10th_2009.swf It took me a pretty long time to recreate this client side version, I hope this will help with solving the problem. Please note: yes, it is actually pretty smooth. But it is definitely not smooth enough.

  • Error when adding code behind for Silverlight resource dictionary: AG_E_PARSER_BAD_TYPE

    - by rwwilden
Hi, It should be possible to add a code behind file for a resource dictionary in Silverlight, but I keep getting the same error, thrown from the InitializeComponent method of my App.xaml constructor: XamlParseException: AG_E_PARSER_BAD_TYPE. The resource dictionary xaml file looks like this: <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" x:Class="Celerior.Annapurna.SL.ProvisiorResourceDictionary" x:ClassModifier="public"> ... </ResourceDictionary> If I remove the x:Class attribute everything works fine again (of course, I double-checked the class name and it's correct). My App.xaml file isn't really exciting and just contains a reference to the resource dictionary: <Application xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" x:Class="Celerior.Annapurna.SL.App"> <Application.Resources> <ResourceDictionary> <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> <ResourceDictionary Source="ProvisiorResourceDictionary.xaml"/> </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries> </ResourceDictionary> </Application.Resources> </Application> What am I doing wrong? Kind regards, Ronald Wildenberg

  • WCF, Metadata and BIGIP - Can I force the correct url for the WSDL items?

    - by Yossi Dahan
We have a WCF service hosted on ServerA which is a server with no-direct Internet access and has a non-Internet routable IP address. The service is fronted by BIGIP which handles SSL encryption and decryption and forwards the unencrypted request to ServerA (at the moment it does NOT actually do any load balancing, but that is likely to be added in the future) on a specific port. What that means is that our clients would be calling the service through https://www.OurDomain.com/ServiceUrl and would get to our service on http://SeverA:85/ServiceUrl through the BIGIP device; When we browse to the WSDL published on https://www.OurDomain.com/ServiceUrl all the addresses contained in the WSDL are based on the http://SeverA:85/ServiceUrl base address We figured out that we could use the host headers setting to set the domain, but our problem is that while this would sort out the domain, we would still be using the wrong scheme – it would use http://www.OurDomain.com/ServiceUrl while we need it to be Https. Also – as we have other services (asmx based) hosted on that server we had some issues setting the host headers, and so we thought we could get away with creating another site on the server (using, say, port 82) and set the host header on that; now, on top of the http/https problem we have an issue as the WSDL contains the port number in all the urls, where BigIP works on port 443 (for the SSL) Is there a more flexible solution than implementing Host Headers? Ideally we need to retain flexibility and ease of supportability. Thanks for any help…

  • Stresstesting ASP.NET/IIS with WCAT

    - by MartinHN
I'm trying to setup a stress/load test using the WCAT toolkit included in the IIS Resources. Using LogParser, I've processed a UBR file with configuration. It looks something like this: [Configuration] NumClientMachines: 1 # number of distinct client machines to use NumClientThreads: 100 # number of threads per machine AsynchronousWait: TRUE # asynchronous wait for think and delay Duration: 5m # length of experiment (m = minutes, s = seconds) MaxRecvBuffer: 8192K # suggested maximum received buffer ThinkTime: 0s # maximum think-time before next request WarmupTime: 5s # time to warm up before taking statistics CooldownTime: 6s # time to cool down at the end of the experiment [Performance] [Script] SET RequestHeader = "Accept: */*\r\n" APP RequestHeader = "Accept-Language: en-us\r\n" APP RequestHeader = "User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.2; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)\r\n" APP RequestHeader = "Host: %HOST%\r\n" NEW TRANSACTION classId = 1 NEW REQUEST HTTP ResponseStatusCode = 200 Weight = 45117 verb = "GET" URL = "http://Url1.com" NEW TRANSACTION classId = 3 NEW REQUEST HTTP ResponseStatusCode = 200 Weight = 13662 verb = "GET" URL = "http://Url1.com/test.aspx" Does it look OK? I execute the controller with this command: wcctl -z StressTest.ubr -a localhost The Client(s) is executed like this: wcclient localhost When the client is executed, I get this error: main client thread Connect Attempt 0 Failed. Error = 10061 Has anyone in this world ever used WCAT?

  • How to solve validation error on xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation in jdoconfig.xml

    - by mamuso
Since I updated today to GAE 1.7.2.1, I'm having validation errors in eclipse in all my jdoconfig.xml files. I have the default jdoconfig.xml content : [...] <jdoconfig xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jdo/jdoconfig" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jdo/jdoconfig"> [...] And eclipse validation throws: Referenced file contains errors (http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jdo/jdoconfig). For more information, right click on the message in the Problems View and select "Show Details..." When clicking on details I can see a bunch of lines like: s4s-elt-character: Non-whitespace characters are not allowed in schema elements other than 'xs:appinfo' and 'xs:documentation'. Saw 'var_U = "undefined";'. In different lines and different content in "Saw ... " It occurs in every single project I start using the "New Web Application Project..." from the google plugin. So does anyone have this problem? Any fix?
