  • alternative to iframes and an efficient way for the displaying of page within the page?

    i have given the user the option to upload his own aspx and code behind i will extract the path by the help of upload control and display the page onto the users home page, am thinking of using iframe but the problem of iframe is its size if fixed, are there any other ways of displaying page within a page without the use of iframes? and is there any efficient way of achieving the above goal? if there is no alternative please give a link explaining how privide resizing in iframes at the users end.

  • Sharepoint, error on adding a webpart to a totally new page.

    I have a problem on adding a webpart to sharepoint page. I have a blank page in the sharepoint, and I have a custom control uploaded to the site, on adding the webpart the the sharepoint page I get the following error: "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))" I get that error even if the sharepoint page is totally blank and so is the web part.

    Hi, I need to use volume buttons to control a variable parameter in my application. I use Activity.onKeyDown to get notified when the button is pressed but the media volume is also increased. Android is doing something like below when I press the volume key: 1. increase media / ringtone volume 2. pass the event to my application Is there a way to avoid increasing the system volume and use volume key only for my application ?   • Connecting to remote mysql database with API

    I am designing a desktop application in C#, which needs to be connected to my online mysql database. I tried to give access in control panel a "%" which means from any IP, but it is not working. May be the hosting provider (bigrock) not allowing that. Alternatively, I am trying to write some code in online on PHP which will get the "sql" as parameter and returns the output as JSON format using json_encode. Is there any alternate methods which is better approach.

    Hi everybody, Having some trouble sending properly formatted HTML e-mail from a PHP script. I am running PHP 5.3.0 and Apache 2.2.11 on Windows XP Professional. The output looks like this: Agent Summary for Support on Tuesday April 20 2010=20 Ext. Name Time Volume 137 Agent Name 01:27:25 1 138 =09 00:00:00 0 139 =09 00:00:00 0 You see the =20 and =09 in there? If you look at the HTML you also see = signs being turned into =3D. I figure this is a character encoding issue as I read the following at Wikipedia: ISO-8859-1 and Windows-1252 confusion It is very common to mislabel text data with the charset label ISO-8859-1, even though the data is really Windows-1252 encoded. In Windows-1252, codes between 0x80 and 0x9F are used for letters and punctuation, whereas they are control codes in ISO-8859-1. Many web browsers and e-mail clients will interpret ISO-8859-1 control codes as Windows-1252 characters in order to accommodate such mislabeling but it is not standard behaviour and care should be taken to avoid generating these characters in ISO-8859-1 labeled content. This looks like the problem but I don't know how to fix. However i cant call MouseDoubleClick, only add/remove events to the chain. How do i call MouseDoubleClick/OnMouseDoubleClick? ATM i workaround the problem since i know the objects MouseDoubleClick function and i pass in the parameters myself calling that specific function. How do i call the event in the case i do not know what function is set to the control MouseDoubleClick

  • What's the easy way to test for 304 reponses?

    I need to test if my 304 responses are working, but my development environment is pretty hard set on force no-cache. Is there an easy way to modify the max-age value of the cache-control header before it goes out? I'm perhaps a bit optimistic in hoping chrome (or an extension, or FF) has a console command letting me alter the if-modified-since header then send the request. Maybe paste something into a telnet connection?

  • Css For Gridview paging

    Hi My question is, can I control the style of the paging element separately of top and bottom, I have set the paging to appear in both top and bottom of the gridview, and I want to see that the top pagination is little high up in the page, to do that I used the cssClass and set margin-top:20px and made the position: absolute, this does change the position of the top paging area and set it rightly for me, but the bottom pagination has also come up as a result and now sits inside the grid data!! Is there any way to solve this? Thanks and regards Arunendra

  • Silverlight toolkit chart to many lables on axis

    I'm using the newest chart control from silverlight toolkit to plot some data. For small cases it works ok, but for bigger samples the X axis labels overlap. It would be no problem if the chart would simply omit some of the values or I could specify to just show every 10th of them ... I couldn't find any properties providing this behavior. Any ideas?

    Hi, I just noticed that if I have an identity column in a table, when I insert new rows SQL Server 2008 is automatically filling up the sequence if there are discontinuity. I mean, if in my identity column I have 1,2,5,6 if I insert other two rows in the table the system puts automatically 3,7 in the identity column. Do you know how to control this behavior? THANKS
