  • Overllaping view elements

    Hi, Here's the problem I'm facing : I've got a custom slider that controlls the volume and a label "volume" that I combine together in a liniar Layout to obtain a volume control setting. In the emulator and on a G1 phone these look pretty ok , however , when put on a Xperia mini the label and the slider overlap . What should I do obtain a decent view independent of the device the application runs ?

    Hi Guys, hows it going? I'm in my first time with DDD, so I'm begginer! So, let's take it's very simple :D I developed an application using asp.net mvc 2 , ddd and nhibernate. I have a domain model in a class library, my repositories in another class library, and an asp.net mvc 2 application.     I dont think this is possible but maybe someone knows a way to achieve this. I want to attach an event to an html element to listen to attribute change. So say for instance that I want something to happen when a visibility of a div changes.     I have recently switched from Subversion to Mercurial for source control and in doing so have split up one repository into several. I used subrepos to manage the dependencies between repositories. The problem is that pull is not suprepo aware so I have to go into each subrepo and pull changes in order to update a repository. Is there a better way to do this?

  • What's the best way to tell if the mouse is over a form or not?

    I figured out how to capture mouse clicks over the entire form, but this method doesn't translate well for MouseEnter and MouseLeave. My form layout is made up from many Panels and TableLayoutPanels so there's no all-encompassing control I can monitor events for, and obviously a MouseLeave event for a button doesn't mean the cursor left the entire form. Has anyone figured out a good way to get around this?

Is there such a thing in standard C++?

    I am designing a desktop application in C#, which needs to be connected to my online mysql database. I tried to give access in control panel a "%" which means from any IP, but it is not working. May be the hosting provider (bigrock) not allowing that.   • Underlining RichTextArea content by default in Silverlight 4

I tried different options i.e using RichTextArea in the content template of a Hyperlinkbutton but as the content of RichTextArea cannot be set directly, this was ruled out. Any suggestions ?

    Hi everybody, Having some trouble sending properly formatted HTML e-mail from a PHP script. I am running PHP 5.3.0 and Apache 2.2.11 on Windows XP Professional. The output looks like this: Agent Summary for Support on Tuesday April 20 2010=20 Ext. Name Time Volume 137 Agent Name 01:27:25 1 138 =09 00:00:00 0 139 =09 00:00:00 0 You see the =20 and =09 in there? If you look at the HTML you also see = signs being turned into =3D. I figure this is a character encoding issue as I read the following at Wikipedia: ISO-8859-1 and Windows-1252 confusion It is very common to mislabel text data with the charset label ISO-8859-1, even though the data is really Windows-1252 encoded. In Windows-1252, codes between 0x80 and 0x9F are used for letters and punctuation, whereas they are control codes in ISO-8859-1. Many web browsers and e-mail clients will interpret ISO-8859-1 control codes as Windows-1252 characters in order to accommodate such mislabeling but it is not standard behaviour and care should be taken to avoid generating these characters in ISO-8859-1 labeled content. This looks like the problem but I don't know how to fix.
