  I'm using an external bindings file when using jaxb against an XML schema. I'm mostly using the bindings file to map from the XML schema primitives to my own types. Hence when i reassign the string to the column of the datatable it again appends 12:00:00 to it. I cannot change the column type in my datatable. Is there any way to convert DateTime to ShortDateTime directly without converting to string?????

• Https in java ends up with strange results

  I'm trying to illustrate to students how https is used in java. But i have the feeling my example is not really the best out there... The code works well on my windows 7: I start the server, go to https://localhost:8080/somefile.txt and i get asked to trust the certificate, and all goes well. When I try over http (before or after accepting the certificate) I just get a blank page, which is ok for me. BUT when I try the exact same thing on my windows XP: Same thing, all goes well. But then (after accepting the certificate first), I'm also able to get all the the files through http! (if I first try http before https followed by accepting the certificate, I get no answer..) I tried refreshing, hard refreshing a million times but this should not be working, right? Is there something wrong in my code?   Hi. The idea was to create a message box that stores my user name, message, and post datetime into the database as messages are sent. Soon came to realise, what if the user changed his name? So I decided to use the user id (icn) to identify the message poster instead. However, my chunk of codes keep giving me the same error. Says that there are no rows in the dataset ds2.   enter code hereI have a TabControl on a Form and in the TabPages there are ComboBoxes. When the form OnLoad, I populate the ListItems in the ComboBoxes and the attempt to set default values to string.Empty. However, the ComboBox.SelectedText = string.Empty only works for the first TabPage. The other ComboBoxes ignore the command and take the default value as the first item in the list. Why is this so? How can I overcome it? • Why AutoResetEvent and ManualResetEvent does not support name in the constructor?

  On .NET Framework 2.0 AutoResetEvent and ManualResetEvent inherit from EventWaitHandle. The EventWaitHandle class has 4 different constructors. 3 of the constructors support giving a name to the event. On the other hand both ManualResetEvent and AutoResetEvent do not support naming and provide a single constructor that receives the initialState. I can simply inherit from EventWaitHandle and write my own implementation of those classes that support all the constructor overloads, but I don't like to re-invent the wheel if I do not have to. My questions are: Is there a special problem in naming events? Do you have any idea why Microsoft did not support it?   Hi, I am unable to create a file under "program files" folder on my Windows 7 64-bit machine in VS 2008 WPF C# code. I'm using the XQuery's replace function like so: let $excel := doc("excel.xml") let $test := "another string" return replace($excel, "(A[0-9]+-Replace)", $test) Before calling replace, the variable $excel is valid XML upon output. However, when I output $excel after I call the replace function, all of the XML tags have been stripped, and $excel is a string with the content of the cells as its values. I would like to keep the XML tags there. Any ideas?

  Hiii... I want to get the content of properties file into InputStream class object using getSystemResourceAsStream(). I have built the sample code. It works well using main() method,but when i deploy the project and run on the server, properties file path cannot obtained ... so inputstream object store null value. • How to separate comma separeted data from csv file?

  I have opened a csv file and I want to sort each string which is comma separeted and are in same line: ex:: file : name,sal,dept tom,10000,it o/p :: each string in string variable I have a file which is already open, so I can not use "open" API, I have to use "csv.reader" which have to read one line at a time.

• Server returns 500 error only when called by Java client using urlConnection/httpUrlConnection

  Hi - I'm having a very strange problem. I'm trying to call a servlet (JSP) with an HTTP GET and a few parameters (http://mydomain.com/method?param1=test&param2=123). If I call it from the browser or via WGET in a bash session, it works fine. However, when I make the exact same call in a Java client using urlConnection or httpURLConnection, the server returns a 500 error. I've tried everything I have found online including: urlConn.setRequestProperty("Accept-Language", "en-us,en;q=0.5"); Nothing I've tried, however, has worked. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the server I'm calling so I can't see the logs.   I want to pass a property list of a class to a function. with in the function based on property list I'm going to generate a query. As exactly same functionality in Linq Select method. Here I'm gonna implement this for Ingress Database. I think my Select function should looks like this, ( *I think this should done using Linq Expression.
