    Hello, I added ffmpeg iphone port into my library and I can able to use a few of its functions like avcodec_init(),.. without any errors. But when I include this function call "avcodec_register_all" Xcode is giving error after compilation The error message is : *--------------- ld: ldr 12-bit displacement out of range (4276 max +/-4096) in _CFRelease$stub in _CFRelease$stub from /Users/foxit/Documents/CameraTest/build/CameraTest.build/Debug-iphoneos/CameraTest.build/Objects-normal/armv6/CameraTest Command /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 failed with exit code 1 *------------- Does anyone know whats wrong with this ?     Will you be so kind to tell me why the sysytem can't load POSTGRE extension for PHP? In php.ini I write: extension=php_pgsql.dll But when I reboot, I get this warning: Unable to load dynamic library: C:/PHP/exe\php_pgsql.dll. There are no problems with other extensions.

    Hi, I have a server that I have no control over, it's JSON based and I've put together a simple proof of concept that calls the server using HTTPWebRequest etc and it works fine (if a little wordy since MS have removed all Synchronous I/O calls). Is there a better way of doing this? I've been looking at WCF as an option but any stable and reasonably performant library should do the job. This is a new area for me so I'm a little unsure what the best practice is (or where to find it out) Thanks in advance Dave

    I want too display PPTs as inline on webpage via swf. So I convert them to swf using OpenOffice scripting. I can embed them into webpage via swfobject, however this has two major problems, Swfobject require me to tell the size of uploaded swfs, which I dont know in advance, as size/aspect ratio of swf depends on uploaded presentation. This doesnot put next/previous controls. Is there a tool/library using which I can emebed swf player in page without these problems.

How are you? <script>//NOT EVIL!</script> Wassup? <img class="smiley" alt="" title="tongue, :P" src="ui/emoticons/15.gif"> LOOOL!!! <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :D" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :P" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> <img class="smiley" alt="" title="big grin, :P" src="ui/emoticons/5.gif"> I have a function that escapes HTML entites to prevent XSS. So running it on raw input for the first line would produce: Hi! How are you? &lt;script&gt;//NOT EVIL!&lt;/script&gt; Now I need to escape all the input, but at the same time I need to preserve emoticons in their initial state. So when there is <:-P emoticon, it stays like that and does not become &lt;:-P. I was thinking of running a regex split on the emotified text. Then processing each part on its own and then concatenating the string together, but I am not sure how easily can Regex be bypassed? I know the format will always be this: [<img class="smiley" alt="] [empty string] [" title="] [one of the values from a big list] [, ] [another value from the list (may be matching original emoticon)] [" src="ui/emoticons/] [integer from Y to X] [.gif">] Using the list MAY be slow, since I need to run that regex on text that may have 20-30-40 emoticons. Plus there may be 5-10-15 text messages to process. What could be an elegant solution to this? I am ready to use third-party library or jQuery for this. PHP preprocessing is possible as well.

When diagram block is being resized a request is being made and new gif image is generated and send to browser. What I need is generating image of basic blocks, like rounded rectangle, circle, diamond with specified parameters (height, width and color). I want to do all server-side; my server part is written on Perl.
