  • How to access a simple file or folder from Tomcat webapps folder

    I want to be able to access a folder from my tomcat webapps folder so that I can give someone a URL like: http://localhost:8080/myFolder/myFile.f And in a web browser if they point to this they should start downloading the file. But in reality I get a 404 error when I try to point to this location. How can I solve this or get around it.

One of them is .net3.5 wpf application and other is WPF notify icon dll i use the following command: IlMerge /target:winexe /out:PS.exe "PlayerSearcher.exe" "Hardcodet.Wpf.TaskbarNotification.dll" But when i launch result assebmly my application is crashed with this error EventType : clr20r3 P1 : ps.exe P2 : 1.0.0.0 P3 : 4c0ee52f P4 : presentationframework P5 : 3.0.0.0 P6 : 4938d608 P7 : 9a1 P8 : 46 P9 : system.io.ioexception Why?     Is there a way to start WebDevServer (Visual Web Development Server) by passing in the .sln file without actually opening Visual Studio 2008? I am a JavaScript developer and I work in a client project and I want to save the memory overhead consumed by VS and give it to multiple browsers for cross-browser testing. I am hesitant with setting up IIS (Visual Web Dev server is SO LIGHT-WEIGHT being Cassini). Please advice. Thanks!

    Hello, I want to make a little script but I'm rather n00b in php so please help me if you can :) What I want the script to do is: I have "index.php". I want "index.php" to read the sub-directories from a known folder, let's say "templates/" Each sub-directory will contain a file called "content.html".
