• KMPlayer: Context menu items not deleted after uninstall (KMP bug)

  I have uninstalled KMPlayer but 2 context menu items (Play with KMP, Enqueue in KMP) are still visible when I right-click on any folder. How can I remove these remainders? OS: Win7 x64 Note: I've uninstalled KMP on different machines several times, and I think this is a bug in KMP.

  Hi, I just updated Amarok from KDE3 version and it looks a bit weird and different. But my problem is after I updated my music collection and started to play it (it is all loaded into my playlist), amarok doesn't start next song after the current song is finished. I have repeat(repeat playlist) and random(random tracks) options enabled. Thanks.

  Possible Duplicate: What good, free audio CD ripping/extraction tools exist for Windows, and supporting multiple formats? I have an audio cd, which has audio files with the file format as .cda ( CD Audio Track ). Each one of these files have a size of 1 KB each, and the rest of the CD has nothing else. Is there a way that I can get the audio files from the CD and then convert it into mp3 format and then play it in any other devices as I like.

  Hello, I am using virtualBox with windows datacenter to play around with some web development. The last time I had to shut down the computer, it installed an update and shut down normally. When I rebooted, it started doing a checkdisk and processed a bunch of files (from hard poweroffs before mabey). Now when I start, I get a bluescreen of death every time it loads (Safe mode,etc) I have googled around for a boot / recovery disk, but can't seem to find one for datacenter. Cheers -Will

  I use mpd on 3 Ubuntu servers at home. Apparently, if you take a .pls file and convert it to a .m3u file, you can stream it as long as you put is in the designated mpd playlist directory. In my case, the path to that directory is /var/lib/mpd/playlists. When I move the converted file to this directly, even though the mpd client recognizes the saved .m3u file, it won't play it. Does anyone have experience with this function of mpd?

  Someone here suggested that i should use an external hdd enclosure since my pc doesnt support a 2nd hdd and i want to use my old hdd. I will be permanently plugging that hdd enclosure to my pc and someone said it isnt safe. I'm really concerned since i would be using that drive and i'll probably be always using it since i'd play the music files i have in there. Also, would it be ok if i use that enclosure as a portable external drive?

• Losing connection when watching flash videos

  Whenever I play a flash video on my browser (whichever I use, Chrome, Firefox or IE), there's a risk that I lose my Internet connection. I know it's limited to my computer only as my roommates are unaffected. I'm the only one that loses connection. Using Internet Explorer's diagnosis tool always repairs the connection, but it's annoying as hell. My OS is Windows XP, if that matters. Anyone knows what may be causing this and how to fix it?

  Hello There are a couple of videos on the Web whose soundtracks I'd like to rip so I can listen to them at the gym, but all of the web apps like KeepVid that I tried failed downloading them. As a work-around, I'll just play the videos and record the soundtrack for later listening.   I know in TextMate I can go to preferences - advanced - folder references and play with the regex pattern to remove certain types of files and folders by default. I heard that if you have an existing project, however, and chance these, the project is not affected. From a similar but different angle, I am interested to know if I can exclude certain types of files, say anything named "index.html" from an existing project while not changing the global scope.   Hello folks, I have reinstalled in my Windows XP machine. After it is re-isntalled the audio in my machine has failed. I have installed all the device drivers in my mother board. The Realtek Sound driver is also installed. Note: Sound is working when I test the surround settings test in my RealTek program, but unable to play any audio, tried playing both in my local machine and from the internet.
