• How to return data structure from stored procedure

  Hello, I have C# application that retrieve data from AQ with some oracle stored procedure, that stored in package. The scheme is: C# code - Stored Procedure in Package - AQ Inside of this stored procedure I use DBMS_AQ for dequeue the data to some object of some type. Now I have this object. My question is how I return it? Previously I: Created some virtual table, Make EXTEND() to table Inserted the data from object to table, Perform select on the table, And return sys_refcursor. In side of C# I filled DataSet with help of OracleDataAdapter.Fill() After that I upgraded it to return data fields during OUT parameters. But now I have much fields, and I may not to create so much OUT parameters... What the best way to do this? Thank you for ahead.

• scala coalesces multiple function call parameters into a Tuple -- can this be disabled?

  This is a troublesome violation of type safety in my project, so I'm looking for a way to disable it. It seems that if a function takes an AnyRef (or a java.lang.Object), you can call the function with any combination of parameters, and Scala will coalesce the parameters into a Tuple object and invoke the function. In my case the function isn't expecting a Tuple, and fails at runtime. • Symfony models with foreign keys

  So I have 2 models. Users and Groups. Each group has a user as the creator and a group has many users. The FK of these tables are set up correctly, but I was wondering if there was an easier way to get all related FK objects from other objects. For example, with a group object, is there a built in method to get the user object of the creator? Or for a user, is there a built in method to get all group object that he belongs to? I couldn't find out how to do this with the documentation on the symfony page. From what I see I feel like I need to create methods and use doctrine to access the appropriate tables using the current objects id and so on. Thanks!

• How could I insert a string into the response stream anywhere I want?

  There may be an easy way to do this but I can't see it... I created a simple Http Module that starts a timer on the PreRequestHandler and stops the timer on the PostRequestHandler to calculate the time it took the page to load. I then create some simple html and write my results to Response.Write. Since I'm doing this in the PostRequestHandler it's adding my results after the </html> tag. That's fine for testing but I need in a scenario where the page needs to validate. I can't seem to figure out how I could manipulate the Response object to insert my results before the </body> tag. Response.Write and Response.Output.Write don't have that flexibility and I couldn't see a way to work with the Response as a string. Am I missing something easy?

• iPhone - At user event create objects in the view

  Hello, I am new to iPhone programming, so I think part of the problem is that I don't know what I really want to google to find my answer. I am looking for a method that allows a user to draw a line on the screen. There is no guarantee that it will be straight, it can be curved or whatever. I was thinking that I could create some small square image, and then as they draw, place them into a NSset. But I am not really sure how to communicate each new object up to the view. Up to this point, I've just been messing around with objects I put on the view and then assign movement to those, this is my first jump into on-the-fly object creation. It might be that I just need to jump into a class/object type or even a tutorial, any guidance would be great. Thanks!

How can I create an instance of a json object locally for testing?   Do search engines treat the alt text of an image placed within an h1 tag the same way they would treat regular text placed in an h1 tag? I gave a search through here looking for an answer to this question, but was only able to find information on image replacement and the infamous h1 debate. For example would: <h1><img src="#" alt="Contact Us" /></h1> Act the same as: <h1>Contact Us</h1> In the electronic eye of a search engine? This seems considerably less "CSS Hacky" than other image replacement techniques like negative text indents, display:none, height:0, or ridiculous z-index integers.

  Say I have 2 subclasses from UIViewController, class A and class B. In Main nib file an object is representing class A and it is set to load file from Secondary nib file. The owner of Secondary nib is of class B. The question is - from which class an object in Main nib file will be instanciated once the nib files unarchived in the memory? The reason this question arised is that I have to take care myself if such reference to external NIB file present, to ensure that the first nib's object and second nib's owner is same.   Example I have 4 activities. A B C D A is a list of objects. B C D are used to add a new object. So A calls B then C then D . However C or D have button to 'add the object' When going up from B or C or D to activity A , A should have a List with these objects. Even if user tap back items should be 'saved' However I dont want to start a new Intent at C or D because i dont want user to go back to A and then click again add new item. I have been adviced to keep these data at application object. Is there any other suggestion ?

• Why are namespaces acting up in Visual Studio 2010?

  I've just converted a project to VS 2010 and something really weird is going on with namespaces. Let me give an example, the following code used to work in VS2008: MySystem.Core.Object { using MySystem.Core.OtherObject; ... } But now it doesn't, it either wants the whole thing to be put outside of the namespace like this: using MySystem.Core.OtherObject; MySystem.Core.Object { ... } or be rewritten it like: MySystem.Core.Object { using OtherObject; ... } I understand why this works and maybe is the correct way of handling this, but now we'd have to change thousands of lines of code! Which is not cool. Any idea to circumvent this requirement?

I have to display an xml tree in a winform and then when i click on any node, its attributes should get displayed on a list box in same window.
