  • How do i redirect to a GET request from a POST request on GAE

    Hello everyone, i am writing an FBML app on facebook hosted in GAE. Facebook will talk to your hosted app only vai POST (im sure this is the cause, but please do correct me if i'm wrong). So im faced with the issue that inside of my POST method, i need to redirect to facebook OAuth authroize URL. But i can only send a GET request. How can i do that? At the moment i'm doing class OauthHandler(webapp.RequestHandler): def post(self): # blablablab request.redirect(oauth_uri) Which is wrong since the oauth_uri is only responding to GET. Further more, OAuth will redirect back to my redirect handler through GET, but i cant! i can only do post. So i'm confused. ideas? Thanks in advance

  • bash script problem, find , mv tilde files created by gedit

    Hi, im using linux with gedit which has the wonderful habit of creating a temp file with a tilde at the end for every file I edit. im trying to move all of these files at once to a different folder using the following: find . -iname “*.php~” -exec mv {} /mydir \; However, its now giving me syntax errors, as if it were searching through each file and trying to move the piece of text. I just want to move all of the files ending in .php~ to another directory. Any idea how I do that? Cheers Ke

  • c# Remove special chars from a File

    Hello i have a problem, im trying to open a textfile and remove all the special chars ñ Ñ ' á í etc... the file its a Layout that the clients send to me and i parse it to send the file to an AS400 server but i have to remove all special chars. THE PROBLES IS: some files with some special chars when i open it in c# it read the special chars and Two different chars and move the entire line one space to the right and then the information that has to be in that position wont be OK. i take the same file and open it in Notepad and the file is OK but when i open it in WordPad it looks like 2 chars (for just 1 especial char) Example: in the file i have: "0001 0003JUAN PEÑA33441JPENATEST" But in c# it shows "0001 0003JUAN PEï¦A33441JPENATEST" im using the encondig 1251 any help?

  • VB listbox cannot be indexed because it has no default value

    I have a listbox and I want to loop through each of the items to see if the string im looking for is inside. I know I could do .contains but that wouldnt look at substrings. The code im using looks like this: While tempInt > Listbox.items.count then if searchString.contains(listbox(tempInt)) then end if tempInt+=1 end while Everything in the loop is fine but VB gives an error on the listbox(tempInt) part. The error is "class windows.forms.listbox cannot be indexed because it has no default value". Can anyone help get around the default value crap? I tried putting in a blank string but no change.

But my users have started complained that the messages in their outbox suddently dissapers =D Thats because if the other users deletes it, the one who sent it wont see it to.     Im new to actionscript 3 and am a little confused about how the addchild function works. I want to draw 5 houses. each house has a roof and wall. Each wall has a door and a window. I have the following classes and this is how I grouped them class Main class House class Roof //a triangle class Wall //a rectangle class Door //a rectangle class Window //a square Im having trouble with inheritance of the classes.     Hello, Im followed the tutorial from here: Twitter Client Tutorial to make a little twitter app. Now I need to find out how to parse the XML twitter gives you when you make a request. I've looked at tons of tutorials on phrasing xml on the iPhone but none have made much sense because Im still new to cocoa. Twitter stores the text of the tweet in something like this <text> Some tweet here </text>. From reading the tutorials I think this would involve nsxmlparser but I'm not sure. If anyone could share some code that could parse the <text> Some tweet here </text> things into an array that would be really great. Thanks in advance

    Im trying to order results ASCENDING from the current date this is what im using now; SELECT * FROM friends JOIN bdays ON bdays.user = friends.friendname WHERE username = $userid ORDER BY DATE_FORMAT(date, '%m %d') any ideas? example ordering by date now, sorts the birthdays starting at january what i need, is instead of starting the list at january, is starting it from the current date. So, instead of; January February March April May June July August September November December It will order them like this; April (current month/day) May June July August September November December January February March April (all the way up to yesterday)

  • will a mysql query run slower if one of the tables involved has no index defined??

    there's this already populated database which came from another dev im not sure what went on that dev's mind when he created the tables, but on one of our scripts there is this query involving 4 tables and it runs super slow SELECT a.col_1, a.col_2, a.col_3, a.col_4, a.col_5, a.col_6, a.col_7 FROM a, b, c, d WHERE a.id = b.id AND b.c_id = c.id AND c.id = d.c_id AND a.col_8 = '$col_8' AND d.g_id = '$g_id' AND c.private = '1' NOTE: $col_8 and $g_id are variables from a form its only my theory that it's due to tables b and c not having an index, although im guessing that the dev didnt think that it was necessary since those tables only tell relations between a and d, where b tells that the data in a belongs to a certain user, and c tells that the user belongs to a group in d as you can see, there's not even a join or other extensive query functions used but this query which returns only around 100 rows takes 2 minutes to execute. anyway my question is simply this post's title. will a mysql query run slower if one of the tables involved has no index defined??

    Hello, I was wondering which libraries or API's would be useful in this. what im aiming for is to be able to type a command into a prompt and then specify which computer(out of all of them that are networked together) to execute that command on. the second part is i want to be able to see that command execute and the result on the computer that was specified. for example if i enter "firefox www.google.com, desktop2" i want to be able to see the window open on the monitor of that computer.     Hi, Im pretty new to Java Web Services, but I cant find a good explanation anywhere. I have 2 Java web projects within NetBeans. One as a web service and one as a client for that web service. I have also created my own class called "Person", which has what you'd expect: name, dob, etc. I would like to have a web service method called "ListPeople()" that would return an array of "Person" objects. Do I need to have that class in both projects? Should I be serializing the object first? Should I be using JAXB, if so, where do I start? Sorry for the n00b questions, but im confused. What is the normal way of accomplishing this? Thanks in advance

    im trying to burn DVD/CD through frontend C#.net code... i have used IMAPI2 for buring CD/DVD in windows XP..but it is giving me unhandeled exception... as:- System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast COM object of type 'IMAPI2.Interop.MsftFileSystemImageClass' to interface type 'IMAPI2.Interop.MsftFileSystemImage'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{7CFF842C-7E97-4807-8304-910DD8F7C051}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)) can anyone plz help me out to solve this pbm...im not able to solve this error.. this project is working fine in Windows7 but unable to work with XP...???

    Im having a little issue with setting up Multi Variant Tests in Google Website Optimizer. I wish to have two tests. One being which is a header banner which appears on every page and the conversion for example would be if the visitor lands on the contact us page. This was very easy to set up. However when I intend to add another test, again this will be on a element which appears on every page and the conversion page is if the visitor lands on the checkout page. But I am now having problems installing the control script. I get the error: Expected to find: }(function(){var k='0651116117',d=docum Found on line 7: (function(){var k='2666211118',d=docum Im assuming I have this error because I now have two control scripts in the header - one for each experiment. However I cannot combine each variation into just one experiment because each one is different and has a different conversion page? Please advise, thanks.

  • Odd nested dictionary behavior in python

    Im new two python and am trying to grow a dictionary of dictionaries. I have done this in php and perl but python is behaving very differently. Im sure it makes sense to those more familiar with python. Here is my code: colnames = ['name','dob','id']; tablehashcopy = {}; tablehashcopy = dict.fromkeys(colnames,{}); tablehashcopy['name']['hi'] = 0; print(tablehashcopy); Output: {'dob': {'hi': 0}, 'name': {'hi': 0}, 'id': {'hi': 0}} The problem arises from the 2nd to last statement(i put the print in for convenience). I expected to find that one element has been added to the 'name' dictionary with the key 'hi' and the value 0. But this key,value pair has been added to EVERY sub-dictionary. Why? I have tested this on my ubuntu machine in both python 2.6 and python 3.1 the behaviour is the same.

  • How can you calculate the X/Y coordinate to zoom to

    Im writing a WPF application that has a zoom and pan ability, but what I want to also implement is the ability to zoom and pan "automatically" (via a button click). I have the methods all defined to zoom and pan, but Im having trouble telling the app the desired X/Y coordinates for the panning. Basically, I know that I want the control to be centered at a desired zoom level (say zoomed in 6X times), but the panning destination point is NOT the center point of the control because after the zooming, its been scaled. Does anyone know a way of calculating the desired X/Y position to pan to, taking into account the zooming as well? Do I just scale the desired destination Point? It doesnt seem to work for me...     Hello, I have an xml file and an xslt file. The xml file has a xmlns="exa:com.test" attribute. If i remove this attribute in the xml the xpath sentences in my xslt works. But if i leave it, doesnt work. Im using the following code to mix xml and xslt: XslCompiledTransform transformer = new XslCompiledTransform(); transformer.Load(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("xslt\\searchresults.xslt")); transformer.Transform(xmlreader, null, utf8stringwriter); What im doing wrong?   • I cant really wrap my head around BOOLEAN logic when I use NOT together with AND and OR

    Im trying to understand how boolean logic works when I use NOT. To give an example using awk I have a text file containing CORE PORT CORE PORT COREPORT CORE COREPORT And I would like to remove all COREPORT lines. The way I thought I would do it was with (NOT CORE) AND (NOT PORT) eg awk '/!CORE/&&/!PORT/{print}' But when I try it out Im actually supposed to use OR instead of AND awk '/!CORE/||/!PORT/{print}' I would be really glad if some one could explain where my thinking is wrong and super glad if it could be visualized with a venn diagram or something like the boolean machine at kathyschrock
