  • Creating user control with dock.Full property giving me a problem

    Hi, My application has several controls. Like in one screen has treeview on left side,gridview with paging in the middle and 4 buttons at right side. the controls are properly appears when the form is in maximize state. but if i minimize it the controls are not properly fits in the screen. i tried with different different tricks like table layout.. in dat i added panel...etc.. but i could not solve the problem. How can i create such type of screens which fits independent of size of my window. Thanks

    I have built an object in Javascript on the Google Apps Script engine and every time I run my script I get a reference error saying uName is not defined.   • Can't access dojo object property using string variable

    I am retrieving a json associative array using a dojo xhrGet request. The data comes back just fine, however I need the app to be able to display the keys and their properties (or values) without knowing the keys beforehand. So, I do the following: function getData() { dojo.xhrGet( { url: "ytd_process.php", handleAs: "json", load: function(response) { for (var key in response) { dojo.byId("boxes").innerHTML+="<div id=\"box\">"+key+":"+response.key+"</div>"; } console.dir(response); // Dump it to the console } }); }; The keys are retrieved and displayed on the page, but the response.key returns undefined. I know the syntax is correct because if I replace .key with an actual key value it will display correctly. It appears it doesn't like a string as the key. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I have a UILabel for each cell at cellForRowAtIndexPath. UILabel *cellLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; cellLabel.text = myString; I want to access that string "myString" at didSelectRowAtIndexPath using indexpath. NSString *anotherString = cell.textLabel.text; returns null. Now if at cellForRowAtIndexPath, I did something like cell.textLabel.text = theString; then the didSelectRowAtIndexPath returns the appropriate cell. My question is, how can I access the text in the UILabel I apply to the cell, at didSelectRowAtIndexPath?   • Dependency property does not work within a geometry in a controltemplate

    I have a DepencencyProperty (a boolean) that works fine on an Ellipse, but not on an ArcSegment. Am I doing something that is not possible? Here's part of the xaml. Both the TemplateBindings of Origin and LargeArc do not work in the geometry. In other words: I would like the code-behind to be visual-free (which, I assume, is good separation). SOLUTION--------------------------(I'm not allowed to answer my own questions yet) I found the answer myself, and this can be useful for others encountering the same issue. This is why the TemplateBinding on the Geometry failed: A TemplateBinding will only work when binding a DependencyProperty to another DependencyProperty. Following article set me on the right track: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/liviuc/archive/2009/12/14/wpf-templatebinding-vs-relativesource-templatedparent.aspx The ArcSegment properties are no DependencyProperties. Thus, the solution to the above problem is to replace <ArcSegment Point="140,150" IsLargeArc="{TemplateBinding LargeArc}" with <ArcSegment Point="140,150" IsLargeArc="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=LargeArc}" Colin, your working example where an 'ordinary' binding was used in the geometry set me on the right track. BTW, love the infographics and the construction of your UserControl in your blogpost. And, hey, that quick tip on code snippets, and especially on that DP attribute and the separation of those DPs into a partial class file is pure gold!

    How do I generate hibernate domain classes from tables with annotations at field level? I used Hibernate Tools project and generated domain classes from the tables in the database. The generated classes have annotations on the getter methods rather than at the field level. Kindly advice a way to generate domain classes that have the fields annotated. Is there any refactoring facility available in eclipse/IDEA etc.. to move the annotations from method level to field level? Appreciate your help and time.

  • Visual studio 2010 Errors out on starting "-832" is not a valid value for property "width"

    My Visual Studio 2010 was working fine this morning (I run in in XP sP3 under Paralles) I restarted the entire laptop and I started getting this error. I even uninstalled VS2010, deleted the Visual Studio 20010 directory on the My Documents area and reinstalled it, and it is still giving me that error every time I try to start it. I'm not sure if stackoverflow is the place to ask it, but I am at my wits end trying to get this running again (trying to avoid rebuilding the entire Virtual PC) Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • Error with Property Validation in Form Submission in ASP.NET MVC

    I have a simple form on an ASP.NET MVC site that I'm building. This form is submitted, and then I validate that the form fields aren't null, empty, or improperly formatted. However, when I use ModelState.AddModelError() to indicate validation errors from my controller code, I get an error when my view is re-rendered. In Visual Studio, I get that the following line is highlighted as being the location of the error: <%=Html.TextBox("Email")%> The error is the following: NullReferenceException was unhandled by user code - object reference not set to an instance of an object.     Hi, I have an NSTextField that I hide when the user presses a button. I hide the text field using [textField setHidden:YES]; The problem is that is the user is typing in the text field (i.e. the text field is first responder) and the user presses the return key (which is the key equivalent for the button that hides the text field) the user can keep typing in the text field even though its not visible. How do I correctly remove a text field without actually deallocating it? Thanks.

  • [Alfresco] property qualified-name in method getContentReader

    Hi there, I first apologize for my poor english level and maybe for the stupidity of my question ;) I am on an alfresco project to learn how it works. I have to browse programatically my content repository and gather datas all along. In order to do that I guessed I had to use a ContentReader (I get from my ContentService) but the method getReader wants a nodeRef and a propertyQualifiedName. I am ok with the nodeRef, I get what it's needed for. But the propertyQualifiedName puzzles me, I barely get what it is but I frankly don't get how it is used. Reading some alfresco forum threads I get more and more scared that I dont even get how a reader works, I somewhere saw that a reader can read only one node and only one time per instance. If anyone knows a bit about the Java API for Alfresco Content Repository use I am all hears ! Cheers all !

The weird thing is that when i changed the SendTimeout the exception message changed from The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:20 to ....01 but still took 20seconds to throw the exception! How can i change this timeout?

    I'm trying to assemble a header object for an api request. One of the headers is 'Content-Type'. The hyphen is causing a compile error. Flex is giving me: 1050 - Cannot assign to a non-reference value. I find it spiteful that they enjoy the use of a hyphen in the error message while I hang my head and come here for answers.
