• Ubuntu 10.04 has broken google desktop ctrl ctrl search bar feature

  Before I upgraded to ubuntu 10.04, when I pressed Ctrl twice, a search bar popped up that allowed me to google desktop search my system. This no longer works and I miss that feature. Can I get it back, somehow? I'm on Ubuntu 10.04, using gnome, having downloaded google desktop from the google linux repositories...

• Linux-Mint Maya Mate loses Alt-F1 menu and Alt-F2 run-dialog with Compiz

  I like the Linux-Mint 13 Mate Alt-F1 menu and the Alt-F2 run-dialog, but as soon as I installed Compiz those keys became non-functional. Conpiz has a Gnome compaatibility settings panel which allows you to set these keys, but using that Compix settings panel did not make any diference (probably because Mate is not Gnome, strictly speaking)... Is there some way to get those two shortcut keys back into acton with Compiz?

• Alternative to arrow keys in Google Chrome location bar

  I like Google Chrome because it is fast but I don't like using the arrow keys in the location bar to complete URLs. Is there any extension, or setting I'm missing, that allows me to use the Tab key (or other customizable key) for completion like in Firefox? I am an Emacs user and am aware of Conkeror. I just wanted to give Google Chrome a fair chance. Edit: I'm using version 4.0.266.0 on Linux.

• Browser displays 'Apache is functioning normally' when I enter 'http://you/' in the location bar

  I am on a Mac and when I enter http://you/ in the location bar, it displays 'Apache is functioning normally' no matter which browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) I am using. Is this normal? Or could it be that my computer is hacked in some way and is now acting as a server for the hackers? EDIT: I originally wanted to go to the youtube.com, but entered http://you/ by accident and found out this strange behavior.
