    Hi, I've developed a java application that need a ssl client certificate and in the staging environment with apache 2.2 and mod_jk it is working fine. In production the configuration is not using mod_jk but mod_proxy_ajp. I'm looking for an apache configuration example that configure ssl and mod_proxy_ajp for sending the ssl client certificate to the java application server (which listens with the ajp protocol).     I'm currently using UltraVNC to connect to my Mac Mini from my Windows 7 machine. I'm running into annoyances/issues because I'd like to use activate certan Mac key combinations from my Windows keyboard but can't, and I may even want to remap explicitly what Windows Shift, Alt, Ctrl, and Win do on the Mac when I'm using the VNC client. Does anyone know if it is possible to customize this in UltraVNC, or if there is some other client that can do that?

  • Windows XP SP3 client printer error over AD

    I have Windows Server 2008r2 and a Windows XP SP3 client machine in Active Directory. My problem is that I've installed the printer on the windows server and shared it, the permissions are right, but when i try to connect to that printer from the windows xp client, it throws the following errer: "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". Again, the permissions are right. I think I'm missing something that I couldn't find on the web. :( please help!

  • NX Client for Windows 7 Opens Remote Desktop in Multiple Windows

    What I'm trying to do: access my Ubuntu desktop remotely via NX Client on my Windows 7 laptop. My environment: server: Ubuntu 10.10 on AMD 1Ghz/512MB RAM PC client: Windows 7 on ThinkPad sl510 Software: server is running NXServer 3.4.0. Using xfce4 window manager. Laptop is using NXClient for Windows In my NX Client "Desktop" settings I've selected "Unix" and "Custom" for OS and environment. I've also specified "startxfce4" as the application to launch when NX connects. I am able to authenticate an NX session on my laptop. By this I mean, I can start the client on my laptop, enter credentials for my Linux user, and NX establishes a connection to the server and attempts to open a remote desktop window. The problem, though, is that this remote desktop is "fragmented" into many Windows. One window will display the bulk of my desktop (complete with desktop icons for "Home," "File System," and "Trash") while another window will contain the taskbar, and another window will contain the application strip. I can select each of these Windows individually, but I cannot click on any objects within them. I've searched Super User, Ubuntu Forums, NX help, Server Fault, and tried many Google searches - none have turned up another case of this particular problem. I'm stumped. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I might try? I'm guessing the problem has to do with my xfce config files, but I've only just setup this server - it's been a long time since I've used Linux and there's a lot I just don't know. What I am NOT trying to do: use Desktop sharing from Ubuntu, whereby I VNC into a desktop that I've already established on the server. I am trying to configure this Linux box as a headless server that I can stash someplace out-of-the-way in my house, then interact with through my laptop. I don't want to have a monitor or keyboard connected to the Linux box. Thanks for your help! edit: 1/19/2011 Well, this is truly bizarre. To my knowledge I've made no changes to either system - the laptop or the server. But today after starting up the server for the first time in a few days, and making sure that nxserver was running, I was able to connect with the nxclient from my laptop with no problems. I have a full desktop in a single window and I am able to interact with it normally. This is really weird, but the problem seems to be resolved.

    I am trying to push DNS to the client with OpenVPN server with config: push "dhcp-option DNS 192.168.x.x" It is working well, but what I really need is that during the VPN connection I do not want to use my primary resolvers, clients should use only the DNS provided by the server. It can be done with push redirect-gateway, but I do not want to tunnel all connections from the client thru the VPN, only specific networks. Is it possible to do it somehow? Linux clients are OK with a script, on Windows I am not sure

    Did anybode tried to provisioning a Windows desktop with App-v 4.5 client in the image? I've tried it with Windows XP and 7 but after creating the desktop pool, provisioning fails. In the View Manager I see a error: View Composer agent initialization state error (6): Unknown failure (waited 0 seconds). We are using View 4 and also checked Vmware KB: 1011653. The App-v 4.5 client is installed before the View Agent.

My understanding is that the server cert needs to be generated for a specific server. If that is the case then we will need a server cert for each server in the farm. Because the farm will be load balanced, how do we generate client certs that will work with any of the servers in the farm?

Rsync on the host 192.168.1.72 rsync -auv --progress rut3.img /tmp/ [54.09MB/s] Rsync to the client: rsync -auv --progress rut3.img 192.168.1.80:/tmp/ [25.52MB/s] I realize that there will be some TCP overhead on the transfer but over 50%? Can someone enlighten me on what could be slowing down the transfers so much?
