  • matplotlib equivalent for MATLABs truesize()

    I am new to matplotlib and python and would like to display an image so that 1 pixel of the image is actually represented by 1 pixel in the figure. In MATLAB, this is achieved with the command truesize(). How can I do this in Python? I tried playing around with the imshow() arguments as well as set_dpi() and set_figwidth()/set_figheight(), but with no luck. Thanks.

    Hi, I am using the xpath in php5 to parse a xml document. The problem I have is writing a foreach to correctly display the following array array(1) { [0]= object(SimpleXMLElement)#21 (2) { ["file"]= string(12) "value 1" ["folder"]= string(8) "value 2" } } Ideally i would like to get the value by using $row['file'] or $row['folder'].     I want to send the below data to default.ctp, I want to display menus in all the pages, I'm using Auth, The problem is if I'm logged in I get the Menus correctly, but if I logout, I'm getting error saying variable'$topMenu' not found. The MenuController can be accessed only if logged in. $this->loadModel('Menu'); $this->set('topMenu',$this->Menu->find('all')); Any help on how to solve this?

Something a lot like the existing mx:Panel class, which includes a title label, but acts like a plain mx:Box with regards to adding children. What's the easiest way to do this? Edit: To be clear, I want to be able to extend the container using MXML, so the "Multiple visual children" problem is relevant.

It should be able to accommodate mass users (client) so that it serve rendered image per client request. User-HTML-Server-(perhaps renderfarm)-Result display.     Basically, i'm wanting to know if i can use either machine or assembly language to write a program that will work on any computer with an x86 processor, despite differences in operating systems. For example, you run a program and no matter what computer it's on, it'll display "Hello, World!" I know it's a little crazy to want to know either of these to languages, but i figure it's an incredible thing to learn, so why not?

    I have very little programming knowledge; only a fair bit in Visual Basic. How do I take a value from a text field, then do some simple math such as divide the value by two, then display it back to the user in the same field? In Visual Basic you could just do txtBoxOne.text = txtBoxOne.text / 2 I understand this question is more than one question and is very basic stuff, but I need to get my head out of Visual Basic and into where I should be :)
