• Is it possible to access a remote SWF without needing to download it?

  We have a very large SWF hosted in a website which is just a repository of hundreds of movies/symbols. We load this SWF at the beginning with the Loader class but then the client will access a very few of them at that moment. Is it possible to tell the loader to download symbols only when they're needed? (as with applicationDomain.getDefinition(...)). Thanks in advance.

  I'm using asp.net and want to filter a search result everytime the user enter letters in a textbox. For exmaple this website do exactly what I want: http://www.prisjakt.nu/ (try searching in the right top corner). I have tried just putting my textbox and the gridview with the search result in an updatepanel, it's working but it's really slow, can I make it faster and how?   I have moved my Opencart website to a new host, and I receive the error: Notice: Error: Could not load language total/sub_total! in .../vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_language.php on line 41 How do I resolve this? I have tried renaming vqmod/xml to vqmod/xml.bad, with no result. I have tried renaming /vqmod/vqcache to /vqmod/vqcache.bad, with no result. Update: In \system\library\language.php, I commented out an else branch which resulted in an application exit.

• Is flash's geturl(...) spiderable by google?

  If I made a homepage with an embedded .swf which had buttons that linked to other html pages on my website using the getUrl() function, would those links be spiderable by google? Or should I also put in text links outside of the .swf (which would ruin the design a bit)? I know a lot of people will argue I shouldn't have flash as the main content on the homepage (and their comments are appreciated), but bear in mind, that's not my question.
