Hi, I have an WPF Microsoft Surface Applikation and I'm using MVVM-Pattern. I have some buttons that are created in code behind. And I would like to bind commands to them but I only know how that works in the XAML like this: <Custom:SurfaceButton Command="{Binding SaveReservationCommandBinding, Mode=OneWay}"/> But I cannot do it like this because my buttons do not exist in the XAML, only in the code behind. So how would a command binding like that works in code behind?

how to wordwrap in flex tree node

I have a Tree object in my Flex code. It's width is 100%, and it is contained by a Panel with width=200. I am using a custom itemrenderer that extends TreeItemRenderer. I need the text in each node to word wrap if it's too big (as happens often). I have tried label.wordWrap = true; in my item renderer without any luck. Any other suggestions?

I went through some headache also when we were trying to figure out how to make it work with lighttpd. this is the line that helps make it work in lighttpd. url.rewrite-once = ( ".*\?(.*)$" => "/index.php?$1", "^/js/.*$" => "$0", "^.*\.(js|ico|gif|jpg|png|css|swf |jar|class)$" => "$0", "" => "/index.php" ) but I couldn't figure out how to make it works in NginX. The webserver run just fine when we use the phpinfo.php test file. However as soon as I point it to my apps, nothing comes up. Check the error.log file and there's no error. Very mind boggling. I spent over 1 week trying to figure it out with no luck.. Please help?

Normally I just redirect to a custom error page in on the Application_Error event, but I have a specific error for which I'd like to display an alert message while the user is still on the page which triggers the error. How can I make this happen? I'm open to a modalpopup or any other type of error message, I just want to ensure the user stays on the page where they encounter the error. Thank for any ideas.

The synchronization is provided via a ReaderWriterLockSlim, which, for the most part, has been easy to apply. The case I'm having trouble with is how to provide thread-safe enumeration of the collection. Squid proxy not serving modified html content

I'm trying to use squid to modify the page content of web page requests. I followed the upside-down-ternet tutorial which showed instructions for how to flip images on pages. I need to change the actual html of the page. I've been trying to do the same thing as in the tutorial, but instead of editing the image I'm trying to edit the html page. I'm building a custom RTE that converts user input to a homebrewn markup, now idiot that I am I did this using an iframe with designMode = "On" and got it to work in firefox using styleWithCSS = false so that I could easily convert the <b> (yes... b :( ) into my markup which would then output the proper code instead of me having to read from <span style="... now my problem is, I cant seem to find something that looks or acts like styleWithCSS = false for IE, Chrome or Opera, any suggestions are welcome.

WP Oembed not passing through the “autoplay=1” variable

I am passing this through a custom field: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6P1Q-UycHA&autoplay=1 (notice the "autoplay=1") But when I load the video on my theme using wp_oembed_get... it displays the video fine, but it does not listen to the "autoplay=1" variable I am passing through. Hello All, I have a VS2008 ASP.NET Web Service Application running on the local IIS of my XP machine. A separate project in the same solution uses test methods to invoke the WS calls, and run their processes. When I added a web reference to the WS App, VS2008 created a Settings.settings file in the Properties folder to store the address of the web reference. This process also created a new section in the Web.config file called applicationSettings to store the values from Settings.settings When my application attempts to retrieve configuration values from the appSettings section of the Web.config file, via ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[key], all values are null and AppSettings.AllKeys.Length is always zero. I even reverted the Web.config file to before the web reference was added, and made sure it was exactly the same as a system-generated web.config file for a new project that works fine. After comparing the reverted Web.config and a new Web.config, I addded one simple value in the appSettings section, and still no luck with ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[key]. Here is the reverted Web.config that cannot be read from <?xml version="1.0"?> <configuration> <configSections> <sectionGroup name="system.web.extensions" Hey, I'm playing around with a script my teacher provided for a table based application. However I can't seem to get my own view to load. It does however contain the object in memory, seeing that NSLog proves that. Everything is linked up and working within the TapViewController nib file. On the Dynamic Data edit page for Organisation, I need to filter the dropdown for Manager to only show active records. I started out by making a custom version of DynamicData\FieldTemplates\ForeignKey_Edit.ascx and setting a UIHint to the new field template on Organisation.Manager.
