    .NET 2.0 provides only the System.Net.Security.SslStream class for secure sockets in .NET 2.0 and higher, but this uses the Stream interface, which provides the blocking Read/Write members and asynchronous Begin{Read,Write} members. I'm looking for a class that provides functionality similar to System.Net.Sockets.Socket. Specifically, something resembling Poll/Select, so I can handle multiple sockets in a single thread without blocking. The mentalis security library supplies a SecureSocket class, but is explicitly unsupported for versions greater than .NET 1.1.

  • Changing startup object of console application at runtime

    Assuming I've got several unrelated classes in separate files with a main method in each. Currently project is a console application and I just change a startup object in IDE to run respective main which instantiates respective class from IDE. Out of curiosity would it be possible to change the startup object dynamically at runtime somehow before launching this exe as an alternative of having this project as a class library and repeating code which I have in main(s) somewhere else.

    I'm getting this error when trying to run unit tests from Eclipse with an Android Project. The list of Instrumentation Test Runners is empty in the Android preferences. [2009-06-17 23:57:51 - MyApp] ERROR: Application does not specify a android.test.InstrumentationTestRunner instrumentation or does not declare uses-library android.test.runner Google-fu failing me. It's also annoyingly decided that because I tried to run a unit test once, that's what I always want to do... Grr

It may be corrupt." So the Document Template works correctly in the Site Content Type (where it does me no good), but is not working in the List Content Type (where I really need it). Now, I know I could put this in _layouts, but from what I've read, _cts is the way to do it. What am I doing wrong?

However I am not able provide hyperlinks to the values of the x-axis(or y-axis) in order to navigate to another URI.     I am using Mike Bluestein's article, http://mikebluestein.wordpress.com/2009/09/27/using-monotouch-with-the-net-library-for-the-google-data-api/, to build an application that communicates with the google APIs. When I try to add references to my project, the imported projects say "incompatible target framework: v2.0". I can change version to 1.0, 3.0, or 3.5 with the same results. If I add the .dll to the monotouch project I get a compilation error - monotouch failed with no output 134. Any suggestions?

    I have a custom nstextfieldcell. I thought I could drag a textfield to a xib and click on it's cell, then change the cell's class to my custom class.That doesn't work. Also, I thought I could drag the custom cell from the library (i made a plugin) over the textfield and it would set the new cell like in a table. That doesn't work either. Does anybody know how to use a custom cell in a textfield?

    Is there a way to tell using C# if a file is real or a symbolic link? I've dug through the MSDN W32 docs (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa364232(VS.85).aspx), and can't find anything for checking this. I'm using CreateSymbolicLink from here, and it's working fine.

However I got 20 error messages which looks like errors in library calling. Can anyone tell me whether we can actually use cocos2d 0.99.0? I'm aware that 99.3 was released but they didn't mention any iOS 4 compatibilities.

    Hello, I created a simple web application and added log4J's jar in my lib folder and it seems to work fine.
