    I'm trying to deploy some web services in a WAR application on JBoss 5.1.0. I have created the source files from an existing wsdl using JAX-WS tool wsgen. This created the Service files and @XmlType annotated clases that would act as request and response wrappers. This classes worked well on JBoss 4.2.3, but when moving to JBoss 5.1.0, I get this exception. java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: setProperty must be overridden by all subclasses of SOAPMessage My configuration: Windows XP SP3 (but getting the same on Vista, as well as on Linux) Sun JDK 1.6.0_17 JBoss 5.1.0 GA for jdk6 Thanks in advance!

Has anyone been able to have this display correctly? In addition, HTML strings of text can be imported into the report from a database or other source. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Érdemes tehát "inkrementálisan" selejtezni, ahogyan egy jó adattárházba is lépésenként kerülnek be az adatok, és témakörönként kisebb kilométerkövek mentén no a lefedett területek garmadája. :) Az imént akadt a kezembe egy jelentkezési lap az Oracle döntéstámogatás (DSS) témakörbol 1997-bol: Új döntésté(!)mogató eszközök a fejlesztok kezében, Oracle Partneri konferencia, 1997. november 7. :) Oldtimer... És mindez véletlenöl pontosan a NOSZF dátumára idozítve. Együtt ünnepelt a világ! Emlékszik még valaki, mi is a NOSZF feloldása? :) Azóta az Oracle Warehouse Builder és az Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition és a BI Standard Edition One lettek a zászlóshajók az ETL-ELT és az elemzés-kimutatáskészítés területen.

  • Retrieving Data from SQL Server within Excel 2007

    I have the following requirements I have relational content stored in a SQL Server 2005 database. I want to retrieve this data, transform it and display it in an Excel 2007 document. I would like this to be pulled from within Excel at the click of a button. As far as I can tell I have the following options... Create a view in Sql Server and reference it within a pivot table using a data connection. Create an Excel workbook using VSTO and create a web service which the workbook pulls data from Create a web service and use JScript with XMLHTTP request objects I currently only have a little experience of any of these methods (I'm very familiar with SQL Server although not pivot tables, I've created many web services although I've never used VSTO and I've used javascript extensively, but never in the context of Excel manipulation). Would you recommend one of the above approaches or is there a better way to do this?

    I am currently developing an Android app i previously developed for IPhone. My Backend is built using WCF service with basichttpEndpoint, i also enabled RESTful methods for better support with other Mobile platforms as well. Now i want to access my existing WCF service(SOAP/REST endpoint) on Android but i need some good ProxyGenerator to consume my services. I just google around for some solution and i found wsimport and wsdl2java(Axis) are two options in java domain. But i am still unable to find any solution related to Android. Can anyone suggest me the best practice in such scenario?

  • Sharepoint and SQL server Endpoint

    I created a LinkedServer on MS SQL Server 2005 pointing to my Active Directory. Nothing too fancy. Simple LinkedServer with ReadOnlyAdmin Account assigned to CONNECTAS Property. Then I created some storedprocedures to retreive some data from the LinkedServer. Again nothing too fancy. Just a few simple LDAP Queries. Then I created a SQL Endpoint to expose these stored procedures as Web services. Using Visual Studio 2008, everything is fine and dandy. It finds the endpoint, gets the list of the methods available and runs smoothly. Cool. But the Sharpeoint Add Web Service somehow doesn't work! It finds the WSDL file no prob. Retrieves the list of functions and parameterss n all but just simply doesn't run them! Any advice or where I should start checking?

  • Running mongod as a windows service

    Hello, i have installed mongodb on win32 and i am trying to run it as a service. I have followed the instructions posted here: http://www.deltasdevelopers.com/post/Running-MongoDB-as-a-Windows-Service.aspx but when when windows tries to 'load'/'run' the service there is a problem. I see the service under the services control banner constantly in the 'starting' state. The result: the service is not started and windows is constantly trying to start it without success. The instructions i have followed are: At the command line C:\mongodb\mongod -install then C:\mongodb\mongod -service Then i modified the Win Registry Entry for the MongoDB Service by setting the ImagePath key to the value of C:\mongodb\mongodb.exe -service Any advice? What am i doing wrong?

  • Part 1: What are EBS Customizations?

    Everything what is not shipped as Oracle standard may be called customization. And very often we differentiate between setup and customization, although setup can also be required when working with customizations.This highlights one of the first challenges, because someone needs to track setup brought over with customizations and this needs to be synchronized with the (standard) setup done manually. This is not only a tracking issue, but also a documentation issue. I will cover this in one of the following blogs in more detail.But back to the topic itself. Mainly our code pieces (java, pl/sql, sql, shell scripts), custom objects (tables, views, packages etc.) and application objects (concurrent programs, lookups, forms, reports, OAF pages etc.) are treated as customizations. In general we define two types: customization by extension and customization by modification. For sure we like to minimize standard code modifications, but sometimes it is just not possible to provide a certain functionality without doing it.Keep in mind that the EBS provides a number of alternatives for modifications, just to mention some:Files in file system    add your custom top before the standard top to the pathBI Publisher Report    add a custom layout and disable the standard layout, automatically yours will be taken.Form /OAF Change    use personalization or substitutionUsing such techniques you are on the safe site regarding standard patches, but for sure a retest is always required!Many customizations are growing over the time, initially it was just one file, but in between we have 5, 10 or 15 files in our customization pack. The more files you have, the more important is the installation order.Last but not least also personalization's are treated as customizations, although you may not use any deployment pack to transfer such personalisation's (but you can). For OAF personalization's you can use iSetup, I have also enabled iSetup to allow Forms personalizations to transport.Interfaces and conversion objects are quite often also categorized as customizations and I promote this decision. Your development standards are related to all these kinds of custom code whether we are exchanging data with users (via form or report) or with other systems (via inbound or outbound interface).To cover all these types of customizations two acronyms have been defined: RICE and CEMLI.RICE = Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and ExtensionsCEMLI = Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization, IntegrationThe word CEMLI has been introduced by Oracle On Demand and is used within Oracle projects quite often, but also RICE is well known as acronym.It doesn't matter which acronym you are using, the main task here is to classify and categorize your customizations to allow everyone to understand when you talk about RICE- 211, CEMLI XXFI_BAST or XXOM_RPT_030.Side note: Such references are not automatically objects prefixes, but they are often used as such.     Hi, I'm trying to get a list of available reports via the webservice for SQL Reporting Services 2005 express edition. Each time I try to call the ListChildren method I get an insuffient permission exception. The code is: ReportingService2005SoapClient rService = new ReportingService2005SoapClient(); CatalogItem[] cItems = null; rService.ListChildren("/", false, out cItems); I added the ASP.net (iusr) account into the local admin group on the PC and still get the exception. Is this method supported in the express edition? Mark
