  • Anchor tag issue in FF; targeting hidden div...

I'm having an issue with Firefox and anchor links from an external page to a tab div on the landing page; while IE render these correctly (I know, that means little), FF and Chrome both send the user to a place somewhat above or below the actual anchor tag. I didn't write the original code, but I'm not able to find much about a FF bug that would cause this, or a solution?   • HTML Dynamic Number of Dropdowns

    I have this form on which I would like to create a dynamic number of dropdowns. I have a list of categorized applications which I would like each to have its own dropdown that submits data for each dropdown. The dropdown options will be the same for each. Here is my code. I am not sure how to pass the unique data to the server. As you can see I currently have an iteration over a list of applications that I would like to make each select in that iteration its own dropdown.     Hi, I would like to have some rotating sequential images on my home page of my website. I do not know how to do this and have found code on the internet for only displaying random images. The main problem is this. Every time the page loads I get a pop-up "to help protect your security, IE has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer". Please can someone help prehaps with an example to enable this to work without this pop-up Thanks Richard

    I have a custom list in SharePoint, and I want to override the OK/Cancel buttons that are in the New Item form (The form displayed when you click "New" in the default view of the list). I want the saving logic to remain intact, but I just want to change the default page it redirects to, ideally, to a whole separate page on the site that's not a view of the list. I usually use it to detect changes in forms (select/unselect check boxes), and submit them automatically without having to click on submit button (which is hided). i.e. $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").change(function(){ $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").submit(); }); But in Ie it doesn't work. It seems I have to use "click" instead. thanks

  • Background is flashing upon load momentarily

    I have a div (.header) contained within other divs. When my page loads, momentarily just that one .header div "flashes" white as the page is loading, especially in in Firefox, but a little bit in IE8 too. I can't find what kind of CSS or lack thereof is causing this - there's no images or background color associated with that div. There is a logo.png within the .header.
