    Anyone know how to use Get-Member to Recursively dump to a text file The entire properties|methods tree of a COM object? (The Output formatting of Get-Object is fine) Instead of giving me only the top level as in this example; New-Object -com AutoItX3.Control | Get-Member I need it to recurse the entire object to return results. If This is not possible, how would I dump the methods/properties of a sub object?

    Hello, Can some one tell me how the Chrome's Linux beta version carry out automatic version updation using debian package manager. I need to implement something similar to my application on linux and information provided here would be of lot of help. I am currently checking out the postinst script present in the debian control package and I can see Chrome uses PGP publish/subscribe model for getting automated version updates in Linux.     Hi all , i was building an application that use local connection and listens to another application that also uses local connection , the second application is sort of remote control for the first app. it invokes function of the listening app from outside. anyway , everything works good on local host. BUT once i have put the listening app on a server and try to work it , it does not connect anymore. any idea's? Thanks

  • How to assign a numbering scheme to TreeNodes based on position

    I have a TreeView control in a Windows Forms application that is displaying my own subclass of TreeNode. I need to display a number along with each node's text indicating its position in the tree, like 1 for the root, 1.1 for its first child, 1.2 for its second child, etc. I'm using C# with .NET 2.0 The best that I can come up with is, after the tree is built, go to each node, recursively find the parent and append the parent's sibling number to the front of the node's text until you reach the root.

    As I understand it, a group-box is just another control. Controls inside it are not owned by it, so unlike in Winforms, if you move a group-box the contained controls stay put. What would be the nicest way to address this? Just create your own data-structure mapping controls to 'container' group-boxes so that when the container is moved the children are automatically moved?

    I have used Kendo UI Multiselect control and it is working fine. But I have one issue now that if I tap on a textbox for selecting different values then the default mobile textbox popup window come up which I want to prevent. I tried Readonly="true" but that will simply disable the function and not able to select any values from that. So I want to prevent this input window when I click on a textbox.

    i have a page consisting of devexpress gridview control with 4 columns and 4 asp.net text boxes. on selecting a row in gridview ,it should update the 4 textboxes with the values of the row selected. so i was assigning the value of the rows of the grid to the text box in the custom callback event of the grid and also the value gets assigned to the all textboxes's text property but it doesn't updates the textbox value in the UI screen.

  • WPF separator between grid buttons

    I have a grid with 4 buttons...1 row, 4 columns. I am looking for a way to visually group the two buttons on the left from the two on the right. I was looking for a way to do this with a separator but it doesnt seem to be playing nice with Grid, preferring StackPanel. Is this the right control? If so, how does one make the thing separate the columns (populated with buttons in this case)? Thanks.
