I followed the instructions on mount-an-iso-image-on-windows-2003. I don't see the the drive after mounting.
Anyone have a simple clean way of mounting ISO image on Win 2008 Server?
I see that there were ways in Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 to just put in an LDAP query and it would populate the group for you. Is there any way to do that in Exchange 2010?
I know there's dynamic distribution groups but I don't want to create the group based on one of their pre-set queries and I don't want to mess around with "custom attributes". I just want to put an LDAP query in there and make it run it to populate the distribution group.
Win 2003, PHP 5.2.1 and IIS 6.
I have PHP configured as ISSAPI and it is serving PHP pages. When I try a page that requires MySQL I am getting just:
PHP has encountered an Access Violation at (and a RANDOM number)
What is all.
Google has not provided me with results that help me fix.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
I am having trouble finding such functionalities in Microsoft Powerpoint 2003. I tried googling it but no luck either. Does it exist? Is there an easy way to find keywords in a group of Powerpoint presentation files? Thanks in advance.
This happens when I insert a page break at the end of a page 1, say. The number of the first paragraph on the next page, page 2, appears next to the Page Break line at the bottom of page 1. This happens in both Word 2003 and 2007.
I have installed IIS and .NET 4.0 on Windows Server 2003.
I have a web ready website that that targets .NET 4.0 and have updated the default website home directory to map to the website's directory.
When I visit the website in a web browser (localhost, localhost:80), I get a 404 error (File or directory not found).
Here is the IP address so you can see for yourself. http://72.45.244.92/
How do I get my ASP.NET 4.0 website to run?
Can anyone tell me the location of the file, reg key, that contains the patches/updates to Windows? This is for both Server 2003 and 2008. They appear to be different locations but, I cannot seem to find the location of the list on either.
I need suggestions for an antivrus solution to do server side scanning of uploads and respond back through the website interface detailing if the upload contained a virus or if it was OK
This needs to the server is running Windows 2003 and the sites are all based on TomCat.
We have a database file (foxpro) on a Windows share (2003 server). We're having some problems where the program that writes to this file has to retry as the file is locked. This all happens very quickly and within a few seconds the file is available, but the problem is it shouldn't be locked.
Does anyone know how we can view what's locking it? Any tools available?
I have access 2003. When I use the link table manager to link to a back end it does not work. There are no error messages. It just flashes and keeps asking begging for the location of the BE which I provided already.
An old junk mail filter program I used to use created a junk email folder. When I moved from Outlook 2003 to 2007, Outlook created a new folder called Junk Email1. Now, after our move to a new Exchange server, I now have a "Junk Email" folder and the existing "Junk Email1" folder. Is there a way to change the default Outlook Junk Email folder back to "Junk Email"?
Hello. I have a friend who's put himself in that age-old position: His OS partition has turned out to be too small for his needs. He'd really like to be able to repartition his harddrive without formatting it. In the past Partition Magic would have leapt to mind, but apparently Symantec bought that in 2003 and never updated it (and then officially discontinued it).
Is there a "modern day" Partition Magic that every uses for desperate situations like this, that also works under Windows 7?
Thanks
Our internal website links to Excel files on a network-mapped drive. The links specify the filename and worksheet to open, in the following format (path and link information omitted):
ExcelFileName#'SheetName'!$A$1
This works fine with Excel 2003, but we're moving to Excel 2007, which won't even open the file if that extra information is present.
I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on whether this feature has been removed (or the syntax changed) in 2007. Any help will be highly appreciated!
Is there a way to manually edit the cardinality/multiplicity symbols on the end of a database ERD made in Visio? The category I'm using is in Visio 2003 under Database -> Database Model Diagram
I want to be able to go from something like this:
To this:
The second graphic was done by manually adding the numbers, but I would prefer to just do it in Visio. Is there any way of accomplishing this?

SSMS 2008 - Excel 2003
This isn't happening all the time, but sometimes when I 'copy with headers' from sql server management studio, the results in Excel look as though I've used the 'text to columns' wizard with 'spaces' and 'brackets' as delimiters, meaning that the results become raggedly distributed across columns making them useless
I've looked in the 'grid output' query options but can't see anything which may be causing the issue
(not sure if this should be on superuser?)
I have an access report that comes up in a few seconds in the preview mode. When I try to print it takes about 45 seconds to print. Any ideas why this might be? This is done in Access 2003.
Thanks,

Hi,
We have a specific requirement for a solution that will scan an Exchange 2003 store for specific content. eg - specific words, phrases and, ideally, images. Can anyone suggest a solution?
TIA
I'm about to study about NLB on Windows Server 2003. It archives both of my interests now: scalability and high-availability. But I don't know about its power in production environment.
Is NLB a efficient solution?
How does it implement in real-world?
Is it popular?
What are its limit?
Thank you so much for answering my questions. :)
Hi,
my OS is Windows Server 2003.
I installed the FTP Service and configure it with the IIS 6.0 Console.
When I deactivate my firewall, all its okay, but when not, I can't get a connection.
Port 21 tcp + udp, port 22 tcp + udp and the whole FTP-Server Application is set as go trouhgt, but don't work. Of course, the FTP ruins on 21.
Any ideas
How do I list files on a server after I make a HTTP connection via telnet with that server ?
I tried establishing connection like :
As I push enter, I enter the following screen :
but as I type ls (which is not visible when I write) and press enter, I see this screen :
I want to establish connection with the server and try to print the file names residing on the server directory.
Note : The server OS is Windows Server 2003 and web-server is Microsoft-IIS/6.0
There is one similar list for Windows XP/2003 here. Is anybody aware of a version of such list for Windows 2008/7 mentioning valid input locale ID strings for all languages and keyboard layouts?
NOTE1: If you are interested to know, I am going to use that ID in the scripts such as this one and the last example in this page
NOTE2: In this page, it shows the format of language id as used by the input.dll exported method named SetDefaultLayoutOrTip (Which is probably used by the regarded script engine)
I am trying to print barcodes for a library. I have generated a list of sequential numbers and copied them into Word 2003.
I want Library name, barcode font, barcode number printed in an Avery 5160 label sheet.
I can get it to work by going to tools, letters and mailing, Envelopes and Labels, labels tab and type in what data I want. I don't see how I can pull this data from the list in the word document rather than just what I type.
Hi,
Whenever I try to install Windows xp or xp2 on my system, my system freezes on boot screen, but it supports the boot screen of Windows Server 2003, or Windows vista. Why I'm getting this problem?
